Claims
- 1. A reinforced hose including at least one of a pressure-resistance reinforcement, a tensile-strength reinforcement, and an inner carcass, wherein at least one of the pressure-resistance reinforcement, the tensile-strength reinforcement and the inner carcass includes at least one elongated element formed as one of a profile, a cable, a wire, and a strip, and wherein said at least one elongated element is composed of a 2,000, 5,000, 6,000 or 7,000 series aluminum based alloy, said aluminum alloy having an ultimate tensile strength at least equal to 250 MPa and a yield strength of 0.2% Re.sub.0.2 at least equal to 190 MPa, and wherein the aluminum alloy of the 2,000, 6,000 and 7,000 series is cold worked hardened at least at 3% and at least 20% in the 5,000 series aluminum alloy.
- 2. A hose according to claim 1, wherein said hose includes the pressure-strength reinforcement and the tensile-strength reinforcement, and wherein said at least one elongated element composed of said aluminum alloy is provided on one of said pressure-strength reinforcement and said tensile-strength reinforcement.
- 3. A hose according to one of claims 1 or 2, wherein said elongated element has a tensile strength of at least 300 MPa.
- 4. A hose according to claim 1, wherein said hose includes the inner carcass.
- 5. A hose according to claim 4, wherein said elongated element is formed as one of the profile and the wire.
- 6. A hose according to claim 1, wherein said aluminum alloy is subjected to a dissolution heat treatment.
- 7. A hose according to claim 6, wherein said cold work-hardening is in a range of between 3 to 40%, when the aluminum alloy is the 2000, 6000, or 7000 series aluminum alloy.
- 8. A hose according to claim 6, wherein said cold work-hardening is in a range of between 20 and 90% when the aluminum alloy is the 5000 series aluminum alloy.
- 9. A hose according to one of claims 1 or 2, wherein said elongated element is one of a rolled element and a drawn element.
- 10. A hose according to one of claims 1 or 2, wherein said elongated element is covered with an alloy for protection against oxidation.
- 11. A hose according to one of claims 1 or 2, wherein said elongated element has a ductility of at least 3%.
- 12. A hose according to one of claims 1, 2 or 4, wherein said hose includes the carcass, a sheath surrounding said carcass, and one of the tensile-strength reinforcement and the pressure-resistance reinforcement, wherein said carcass comprises one of the strip and the wire, and one of said tensile-strength reinforcement and the pressure-resistance reinforcement includes an elongated element formed as one of a profile, a cable, and a wire, and wherein the aluminum alloy of said strip or said wire of said carcass is fashioned of the 2000, 5000, 6000, or 7000 series aluminum alloy, and wherein the profile, the cable or the wire of said tensile-strength reinforcement or said pressure-resistance reinforcement is fashioned of the 2000, 5000, 6000, or 7000 series aluminum alloy.
- 13. A hose according to one of claims 1, 2 or 4, further comprising at least one inner sheath comprising one of a plastic material and an elastic material.
- 14. A hose according to claim 1, wherein the hose includes the pressure-strength reinforcement, said pressure-strength reinforcement having at least one ply formed from the profile, and wherein said profile has one of a Z-shaped and U-shaped cross section and is made from the 2000, 5000, 6000, or 7000 series aluminum alloy.
- 15. A hose according to claim 1, wherein the aluminum alloy has one of the following grades: 2014, 2017, 2024, 2117, 2618, 5050, 5052, 5056, 5082, 5086, 5154, 5183, 5754, 6005, 6060, 6061, 6063, 6066, 6070, 6082, 6351, 7001, 7020, 7049, 7050, 7075, 7175, 7178 or 7475.
- 16. A hose according to claim 1, wherein said aluminum alloy elongated element has a tensile strength of at least 350 MPa.
- 17. A hose according to claim 1, wherein said aluminum alloy is one of the following grades: 1100, 1180, 3103, 5050, 5052, 5056, 5083, 5456, 6060, 6061, 6082, 6083 or 6106.
