1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a colon hydrotherapy apparatus, and more particularly to a self-operated colon hydrotherapy apparatus for a user to conveniently have colon hydrotherapy at home.
2. Description of Related Art
In human body, the large intestine is in a generally reversed U shape that includes a rectum, a descending colon at an inner end of the rectum, a transverse colon located at an upper end of the descending colon, and an ascending color downward extended from another end of the transverse colon. Dr. Bernard Jensen of the Medical College of Johns Hopkins University has studied 50 thousands cases and developed a Large Intestine Cavities Map. The accumulation of any excrement in any one of the large intestine cavities usually indicates an abnormal physical condition of a person at a certain specific body area. For instance, according to statistical data from the study conducted by Dr. Jensen, the accumulation of excrement in the ascending colon at a position marked No. 8 in the Large Intestine Cavities Map indicates possible abnormality in the thyroid gland or the pituitary body, and the accumulation of excrement in the transverse colon at positions marked Nos. 63 and 64 in the Large Intestine Cavities Map indicates possible abnormality in the gullet or the bronchial tube. Due to the complicate and winding structure of the human large intestine, colon hydrotherapy is the only way to fully clean off the excrement from the joints of the descending and the transverse colons and of the transverse and the ascending colons.
The currently available colon hydrotherapy apparatus is complicate and expensive, and must be operated under the instruction by a hydrotherapist who is usually a professional nurse. It is therefore very inconvenient and even troublesome to have colon hydrotherapy at least at the current stage.
According to the foregoing problems of the colon hydrotherapy apparatus, a household-type colon hydrotherapy apparatus is developed to make a user conveniently have colon hydrotherapy at home. However, the household-type colon hydrotherapy apparatuses still have some drawbacks as the following:
1. A remote controller is connected to a main unit of the colon hydrotherapy apparatus so that the user sometimes gets stumble inadvertently.
2. The conventional household-type colon hydrotherapy apparatus has a ultra-violet sterilizing device to kill bacteria but the ultra-violet sterilizing device has a service life. Sterilizing efficiency of the ultra-violet sterilizing device is correspondingly decreased and can not meet hygiene standards when the service life expires.
In order to resolve the foregoing unavoidable problems for people who want to have colon hydrotherapy at home, an improved colon hydrotherapy apparatus has arisen to mitigate or obviate the problems.
Main t objective of the present invention is to provide a household-type colon hydrotherapy apparatus that enables a user to conveniently have colon hydrotherapy in a bathroom at home.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a household-type colon hydrotherapy apparatus that has a main unit suitably mounted on a water tank of a toilet, wherein the main unit connects to one end of a water pipe and a locating plate having a water passage connects to the other end of the water pipe; wherein the locating plate mounts on a rear top of a toilet bowl and is shaped to correspond the rear top of the toilet bowl to snugly mount thereon.
Yet another objective of the present invention is to provide a household-type colon hydrotherapy apparatus that has a disposable insert tube detachably connected to the water passage in the locating plate and adapted to enter a user's large intestine so that the disposable insert tube is environmentally friendly after discarded and can be changed conveniently to ensure personal hygiene.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a household-type colon hydrotherapy apparatus that has a wireless remote controller to conveniently operate the colon hydrotherapy apparatus without possible stumble danger.
To achieve foregoing objectives, the household-type colon hydrotherapy apparatus comprises:
a main unit adapted to mount on a water tank of toilet and having
a control panel attached to one side on a top of the main unit to control and monitor the main unit in pressurizing and pumping procedures;
a water inlet formed on another side on the top of the main unit; and
a filter accommodated inside the main unit under the water inlet to sterilize water;
a locating plate connected to the main unit by a water tube and having
a water passage defined in the locating plate and having a middle extension tube communicated with the water passage to extend outward; and
a disposable insert tube detachably connected to the water passage; and
a remote controller selectively operating the main unit.
According to above description, the main unit is mounted on the top face of the water tank of the toilet and the locating plate is positioned at a rear top on a toilet bowl by using a seat cushion to clamp the locating plate with the rear top of the toilet bowl so that a user can sit on the seat cushion and insert the disposable insert tube into the rectum to conveniently have colon hydrotherapy at home. Moreover, the remote controller and the control panel enable the user to operate the colon hydrotherapy apparatus in an easy, wireless and convenient way by self.
Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
