Claims
- 1. A diagnostic composition for the detection of nucleic acid sequences encoding G protein gamma subunit comprising the polynucleotide consisting of the nucleic acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:1 and a suitable carrier P28,122,23.
- 2. A diagnostic test for the detection of nucleotide sequences encoding and associated with excessive expression of G protein gamma subunit in a biological sample, the method comprising the steps of:
- a) combining the biological sample with a first nucleotide sequence which comprises the nucleic acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:1 or a fragment thereof, wherein the fragment is from a non-conserved region of G protein gamma subunit, under conditions suitable for the formation of a nucleic acid hybridization complex; and
- b) detecting the hybridization complex, wherein the presence of the hybridization complex correlates with the presence of a second nucleotide sequence encoding G protein gamma subunit in the biological sample.
