The present invention pertains to the field of wearable garments and more particularly to a hybrid wearable garment that addresses a fusion of comfort and style in apparel along with enabling the wearer to customize the garment as per their preference. The invention addresses the need for versatile, stylish apparel suitable for both formal and casual settings.
Wearable garments categories like leggings and hosiery each offer distinct benefits: leggings provide flexibility and ease of movement, while hosiery presents a polished, elegant appearance. However, these conventional wearable garments often come with drawbacks that limit their desirability by the wearers. Traditional leggings and hosiery are distinct in their design and functionality, often requiring individuals to choose between comfort and style depending on the occasion. This separation limits the versatility of traditional clothing options. Leggings, while offering comfort and flexibility, may not always offer the polished look suitable for formal settings. On the other hand, hosiery provides elegance but can be less comfortable for extended wear periods.
Further, existing garments may not adequately cater to different body shapes and preferences, leading to fit issues or discomfort. This can be particularly challenging for pregnant women or individuals with specific support needs. Materials used in traditional leggings and hosiery may not always optimize breathability, flexibility, or moisture-wicking properties simultaneously, limiting overall comfort and wearability.
KR101514597B1 relates to a functional legging, and more specifically, to functional leggings which have a pant unit and a leg unit and can be removable, thereby adjusting the length of leggings according to the length of legs of a use.
U.S. Pat. No. 9,572,381B2 discloses a clothing system has removable leggings that have two legging portions. Each legging portion has an ankle end and a distal end; the distal end has at least one attachment mechanism and a seam of the distal end has elastic material there within. A shorts portion has a waistband and at least one mating attachment mechanism. A skirt portion is affixed to the shorts portion at the waistband. When worn, each of the legging portions is connected to the shorts portion by the attachment mechanisms and respective mating attachment mechanisms in the shorts portion and the shorts portion substantially covers and hides the distal end of each of the legging portions. When the skirt portion is deployed, the skirt portion substantially covers the shorts portion and, when the skirt portion is not deployed, the skirt portion is worn over the waistband to provide the appearance of a belt.
Conventionally, there exist several garments that offer distinct benefits like comfort and style. However, these garments are not capable of offering both comfort and aesthetic appeal that meets modern fashion demands and wearer's satisfaction.
Therefore, there exists a need to develop a garment that seamlessly blends comfort with elegance by combining the benefits of leggings and hosiery into a single garment while maintaining the strengths of both.
There is a further need for a garment that enables transitioning between casual and formal settings without changing clothing in order to increase convenience and practicality.
The principal object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art.
The object of this invention is to provide a hybrid wearable garment that offers integration of comfort and elegance by combining the benefits of leggings and hosiery into a single garment.
