Claims
- 1. A hydrocracking process comprising contacting a hydrocarbon with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst comprising an inorganic oxide component, a Y zeolite component and a hydrogenation component wherein the zeolite component has a number average crystal size of less than about 0.5 micron, and a thermally stabilizing amount of oxometallic cations positioned in the beta-cages of said Y zeolite.
- 2. A process according to claim 1 wherein the number average crystal size of the zeolite component is less than about 0.4 micron.
- 3. A process according to claim 1 wherein the hydrogenation component is a metal comprising palladium.
- 4. A process according to claim 1 wherein the hydrogenation component is a metal comprising a base metal.
