Claims
- 1. In a process for separating diverse substances from each other by dialysis, osmosis or ionexchange, comprising exposing the surface of a membrane to said diverse substances in order to separate said diverse substances the improvement comprising using as the separating means a membrane of a fluoropolymer provided as a hydrophilic fluoropolymer containing nonterminal units represented by the structure ##STR29## where Z is ##STR30## where R is an alkyl radical of 1-12 carbon atoms or
- a cycloalkyl radical of 3-12 carbon atoms,
- the hydrophilic fluoropolymer having a phosphorus content of about 0.1-10% by weight, not more than about 1% by weight of the fluoropolymer dissolving in water at 20.degree. C.
