Claims
- 1. An axle driving apparatus comprising;
- a housing;
- a hydrostatic transmission in said housing;
- axle shafts extending from said housing;
- said housing being defined by at least two separable elements of said axle assembly, wherein at least two of said elements are elements separable at a horizontal parting plane;
- differential gearing means within said housing,
- said hydrostatic transmission includes cylinder blocks having their axes of rotation generally normal to each other, and further includes a center section separate from and completely within said housing and engaging each of said cylinder blocks.
