Description
FIELD

Embodiments described herein relate generally to an image forming apparatus and a sales support system and methods associated therewith.

BACKGROUND

In recent years, due to rise of non-store sales such as an internet shop, store sales are decreasing. However, fresh food and medicine are difficult to purchase and deliver in the internet shop setting. This is because that the fresh food and the medicine are restricted by freshness and the law. The improvement of sales in a retail store that sells fresh food and medicine is promoted through adding additional services such as printing of a recipe of bargains, printing of a coupon, a point back system based on a membership card, and the like. However, these services are services for a customer who physically enters the store. Thus, there is a problem of lacking services that function beneficially through the internet shop such as a specification investigation, price comparison, and commodity evaluation from a standpoint of the customer.
