Claims
- 1. A printer apparatus comprising:
- input means for inputting an image signal and image type information of the image signal;
- discriminating means for discriminating image type information input by said input means in accordance with a signal other than the image signal to be recorded;
- image forming means for forming an image on the basis of image type information; and
- density adjusting means for adjusting an optical reflective density for image formation by said image forming means in accordance with the discriminated image type information,
- wherein said discriminating means discriminates a resolution of the image which is formed by said image forming means as the image type information.
- 2. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said image forming means is an electrophotographic printer and said density adjusting means adjusts the processing condition of said printer.
- 3. An image forming apparatus comprising:
- input means for inputting an image signal and image type information of the image signal;
- discriminating means for discriminating image type information input by said input means in accordance with a signal other than the image signal to be recorded;
- image forming means for forming an image on the basis of image type information; and
- density adjusting means for adjusting an optical reflective density for image formation by said image forming means in accordance with the discriminated image type information,
- density instructing means for manually instructing an optical reflective density, wherein said density adjusting means adjusts the optical reflective density of an image in accordance with an instruction by said density instructing means and the image type information.
- 4. An apparatus according to claim 3, wherein said image forming means is an electrophotographic printer and said density adjusting means adjusts the processing condition of said printer.
- 5. An image forming apparatus comprising:
- input means for inputting image resolution information;
- image forming means for forming an image on the basis of the image resolution information;
- identifying means for identifying image resolution information input by said input means in accordance with a signal other than a signal to be recorded;
- detecting means for detecting an ambient condition of the image forming means; and
- density adjusting means for adjusting the optical reflective density of image formation by said image forming means in accordance with both a detection output of the detecting mans and identified image resolution information input by said input means and identified by said identifying means.
- 6. An apparatus according to claim 5, wherein the detecting means is a temperature sensor to detect an environmental temperature of the image forming means.
- 7. An apparatus according to claim 5, wherein the detecting means is a humidity sensor to detect an environmental humidity of the image forming means.
- 8. An apparatus according to claim 5, further comprising density instructing means for manually instructing the optical reflective density, and wherein said density adjusting means adjusts the optical reflective density of an image in accordance with a detection output of said detecting means and an instruction by the density instruction means.
- 9. An apparatus according to claim 5, wherein the image forming means is an electrophotographic printer and the density adjusting means adjusts processing conditions of said printer.
