Claims
- 1. An image forming apparatus, comprising:an image forming unit for forming an image on a sheet; and a main body having a first body and a second body which are separable from each other; wherein the first body is provided with the image forming unit and the second body is slidable with respect to the first body while maintaining the posture thereof, and the first body or the second body comprises a plurality of guide members for guiding sliding movement of the second body, the guide members are disposed on both sides of the main body in terms of width thereof, and more guide members are disposed on one side of the main body in terms of width thereof than on the other side.
- 2. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1, whereinthe guide members are disposed away from parts where problems are likely to develop with moving sheet.
- 3. The image forming apparatus according to claim 2, whereinthe second body comprises a carrier path for carrying a sheet carried from the image forming unit back to the image forming unit, and the guide members are disposed away from a connection portion where the carrier path is connected to the first body.
