Claims
- 1. An image pickup apparatus, comprising:image pickup means for converting an optical image into an electrical image signal; recording means for recording said electrical image signal; first trigger means operative to start a predetermined step; and second trigger means operable subsequent to an operation of the first trigger means, for causing said recording means to record the electrical image signal, wherein, in a single photographing mode, said predetermined step includes a detecting step of detecting an operation state of said second trigger means and for bypassing a remaining part of the predetermined step started by said first trigger means to start an image converting operation of said image pickup means when the actuation of said second trigger means is detected.
- 2. An image pickup apparatus comprising:measurement means for measuring a condition of an object; first trigger means; second trigger means; recording means for recording an object image; and control means for, in a single photographing mode, performing (i) a first detection step of detecting an operation of said first trigger means, (ii) a measurement step of measuring the condition of said object by said measurement means after the operation of said first trigger means is detected in the first detection step, (iii) a second detection step of detecting an operation of said second trigger means after completion of the measurement step, (iv) a recording step of recording the object image after the operation of said second trigger means is detected in the second detection step, and (v) a third detection step of detecting whether said second trigger means is operated, which third detection step is to be executed after the first detection step and before the second detection step, for starting the measurement step when the operation of said second trigger means is not detected in the third detection step, and starting the second detection step without performing the measurement step when the operation of said second trigger means is detected in the third detection step.
- 3. An apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said measurement means measures brightness of the object.
- 4. An apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said measurement means measures a color temperature state of the object.
- 5. An apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said first trigger means and said second trigger means constitute a two-stroke operational member.
- 6. An image pickup apparatus comprising:display means for displaying a plurality of kinds of information; first trigger means; second trigger means; recording means for recording an object image; and control means for, in a single photographing mode, performing (i) a first detection step of detecting an operation of said first trigger means, (ii) a display step of displaying the plurality of kinds of information by said display means after the operation of said first trigger means is detected in the first detection step, (iii) a second detection step of detecting an operation of said second trigger means after completion of the display step, (iv) a recording step of recording an object image after the operation of said second trigger means is detected in the second detection step, and (v) a third detection step of detecting whether said second trigger means is operated, which third detection step is to be executed after the first detection step and before the second detection step, for starting the display step when the operation of said second trigger means is not detected in the third detection step, and for starting the second detection step without performing the display step when the operation of said second trigger means is detected in the third detection step.
- 7. An apparatus according to claim 6, further comprising measurement means for measuring a condition of an object.
- 8. An apparatus according to claim 7, wherein said measurement means measures brightness of the object.
- 9. An apparatus according to claim 7, wherein said measurement means measures a color temperature state of the object.
- 10. An apparatus according to claim 6, wherein said second trigger means comprises a two-stroke operational member.
