Claims
- 1. An image recording apparatus, comprising:an image sensor for converting an optical image into an electrical image signal; a first processing circuit for processing the electrical image signal to obtain a first image signal; an output terminal for externally outputting the first image signal; a second processing circuit for processing the first image signal to obtain a second image signal; a recording head for recording the second image signal; a driver for driving a recording medium relative to the recording head; a manually operable member for setting a mode of the apparatus among a plurality of modes including a first mode and a second mode; and a housing which undetachably supports the image sensor, the recording head, the driver and the output terminal, wherein in the first mode the image sensor operates and outputs the electrical image signal, the driver drives the recording medium and the recording head records a still image signal obtained from the second image signal, and further wherein in the second mode the image sensor operates and outputs the electrical image signal, the driver stop driving the recording medium and the output terminal externally outputs a moving image signal obtained from the first image signal.
- 2. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the driver includes a motor for moving the recording medium.
- 3. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the image sensor includes a charge coupled device.
- 4. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the recording medium is contained in a cartridge.
- 5. An apparatus according to claim 4, further comprising a supporting member which receives the cartridge and supports it, wherein the housing also undetachably supports the supporting member.
- 6. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the first image signal is a signal conforming to a standard television signal.
- 7. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the manually operable member includes a single manually operable member which can set the apparatus in at least two modes including the first mode and the second mode.
- 8. An image recording apparatus, comprising:image pick-up means for converting an optical image into an electrical image signal; processing means for processing the electrical image signal to obtain first and second image signals; output means for externally outputting the first image signal; recording means for recording the second image signal; driving means for driving a recording medium relative to said recording means; and manually operable means for setting a mode of the apparatus among a plurality of modes including a first mode and a second mode; wherein said recording means and said image pick-up means are undetachable, and wherein in the first mode said image pick-up means outputs the electrical image signal, said driving means drives the recording medium and said recording means records the second image signal as a still image signal; and further wherein in the second mode said image pick-up means outputs the electrical image signal, said driving means stops driving the recording medium and said output means outputs the first image signal as a moving signal.
- 9. An apparatus according to claim 8, further comprising supporting means for receiving a cartridge containing the recording medium and supporting the cartridge, wherein said supporting means is also undetachable to said recording means and said image pick-up means.
- 10. An apparatus according to claim 8, wherein the first image signal is obtained in an intermediate stage of a signal processing executed by said processing means and conforms to a standard television signal.
- 11. An apparatus according to claim 8, wherein said manually operable means includes a single manually operable member which can set the apparatus in at least two modes including the first mode and the second mode.
- 12. An image recording apparatus, comprising:an image sensor for converting an optical image into an electrical image signal; a first processing circuit for processing the electrical image signal to obtain a first image signal; an output terminal for externally outputting the first image signal; a second processing circuit for processing the first image signal to obtain a second image signal; a recording head for recording the second image signal; a driver for relatively rotating a recording medium and the recording head; a manually operable member or setting a mode of the apparatus among a plurality of modes including a first mode and a second mode; and a housing which undetachably supports the image sensor, the recording head, the driver and the output terminal, wherein in the first mode the image sensor operates and outputs the electrical image signal, the driver relatively rotates the recording medium and the recording head and the recording head records a still image signal obtained from the second image signal, and further wherein in the second mode the image sensor operates and externally outputs the electrical image signal, the driver stops relatively rotating the recording medium and the recording head and the output terminal outputs a moving image signal obtained from the first image signal.
- 13. An apparatus according to claim 12, wherein the driver includes a motor for moving the recording medium.
- 14. An apparatus according to claim 12, wherein the image sensor includes a charge coupled device.
- 15. An apparatus according to claim 12, wherein the recording medium is contained in a cartridge.
- 16. An apparatus according to claim 15, further comprising a supporting member which receives the cartridge and supports it, wherein the housing also undetachably supports the supporting member.
- 17. An apparatus according to claim 12, wherein the first image signal is a signal conforming to a standard television signal.
- 18. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the manually operable member includes a single manually operable member which can set the apparatus in at least two modes including the first mode and the second mode.
- 19. An image recording apparatus, comprising:image pick-up means for converting an optical image into an electrical image signal; processing means for processing the electrical image signal to obtain first and second image signals; output means for externally outputting the first image signal; recording means for recording the second image signal; driving means for relatively rotating a recording medium and said recording means; and manually operable means for setting a mode of the apparatus among a plurality of modes including a first mode and a second mode; wherein said recording means and said image pick-up means are undetachable, and wherein in the first mode said image pick-up means operates and outputs the electrical image signal, said driving means relatively rotates the recording medium and said recording means and said recording means records the second image signal as a still image signal, and further wherein in the second mode said image pick-up means operates and outputs the electrical image signal, said driving means stops relatively rotating the recording medium and said recording means and said output means outputs the first image signal as a moving image signal.
- 20. An apparatus according to claim 19, further comprising supporting means for receiving a cartridge containing the recording medium and supporting the cartridge, wherein said supporting means is also undetachable to said recording means and said image pick-up means.
- 21. An apparatus according to claim 19, wherein the first image signal is obtained in an intermediate stage of a signal processing executed by said processing means and conforms to a standard television signal.
- 22. An apparatus according to claim 19, wherein said manually operable means includes a single manually operable member which can set the apparatus in at least two modes including the first mode and the second mode.
