Claims
- 1. An impingement mixing head comprising:
- means for defining a component impingement zone;
- at least two means for introducing component into said impingement zone connected to said means for defining;
- wherein said means for introducing includes:
- an axially displaceable nozzle needle arranged in a nozzle housing connected to said means for defining;
- a continuously adjustable drive connected to said nozzle needle.
- 2. An impingement mixing head according to claim 1, wherein said drive comprises:
- a servo-motor connected to said housing; and
- an adjusting spindle means for translating rotational motion of said servo-motor to axial displacement of said nozzle needle, coupling said servo-motor to said nozzle needle.
- 3. An impingement mixing head according to claim 2, wherein said adjusting spindle exhibits a rotating portion connected to said servo-motor and an axially moving portion, rotationally set by a spline key, connected to said nozzle needle,
- wherein said rotating portion and said axially moving portion are joined by a threaded portion.
