Claims
- 1. An apparatus for treating glaucoma, comprising:
an implant sized and shaped such that an inlet portion receives fluid from the anterior chamber and an outlet portion resides in Schlemm's canal, said outlet portion receiving fluid from the inlet portion, said implant comprising a micropump which provides a flow of fluid through the implant.
- 2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the implant has an enlarged portion which locks the implant in a fixed position with the eye.
- 3. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the enlarged portion is comprised of a material which hydrates after implantation.
