Claims
- 1. An indexing device comprising: first, second and third discs substantially co-axial with one another; first and second engagement means of said first and second discs, respectively interengageable to releasably latch said first and second discs in any selected one of a number of relative angular positions thereof; gage means, respective abutment surfaces of the second and third disc, whereby said second and third discs can be angularly positioned relative to each other, said gage means being disposed between said abutment surfaces of said second and third discs, and being adapted to abut both of said abutment surfaces; clamping means including a clamping member movable in an axial direction of the discs to clamp said second and third discs against turning relative to each other; and a disc means for use with said device disposed above said indexing device, accommodating a tool, said disc means being provided with depending skirt means surrounding said device and a lower plate positioned below said indexing device to permit access to said indexing device.
- 2. An indexing device according to claim 1, wherein said skirt means is of bellows form and comprises at a lower end thereof a magnetic ring.
- 3. An indexing device according to claim 1, wherein said skirt means is of oil-resisting material.
- 4. An improved indexing device in combination with a container of di-electrical liquid comprising three discs substantially co-axial with one another and adjustable with respect to one another, the improvement wherein: said device is within said container of di-electrical liquid, said liquid being between upper disc means extending over all sides of said device and a lower plate extending over all sides of said device; a skirt means in the form of bellows, said bellows surrounding said device up to said upper disc means and in sealed relationship therewith, and the skirt means in its normal position extending generally downwardly to the upper surface of the lower plate, without being affixed to said lower plate in a sealed manner to allow liquid to rise to a certain level within this skirt means.
- 5. An improved indexing device assembly according to claim 4, wherein: a magnetic ring is attached to the lower end of said skirt means, which magnetic ring is disposed on the lower plate.
