Claims
- 1. A circuit overload indicator light for use in combination with an electrical circuit protector comprising: a circuit overload indicator light; and an electrical circuit protector; said circuit overload indicator light having a first lead line and a second lead line extending there from for energizing said circuit overload indicator light, said electrical circuit protector having a housing for containment of all electrical components associated with said electrical circuit protector, said electrical circuit protector having a button housing, said all electrical components being interconnected for electrical communication there between, said electrical components including; a first terminal; a second terminal; a current responsive bimetallic element; and an interrupter blade reset button; said interrupter blade reset button having an activated position and an inactivated position, said circuit overload indicator light being mounted onto or within said interrupter blade reset button by suitable attachment means, said interrupter blade reset button having a front side which includes an electroplated section, said interrupter blade reset button having a back side which includes an electroplated section, said first lead line being fixedly attached onto or within said interrupter blade reset button by appropriate attachment means and interconnected to said electroplated section of said front side, and said second lead line being fixedly attached onto or within said interrupter blade reset button by appropriate attachment means and interconnected to said electroplated section of said back side, whereby when said electrical circuit protector is subjected to an electrical overload, said interrupter blade reset button assumes said activated position which in turn automatically illuminates said circuit overload indicator light.
- 2. The circuit overload indicator light for use in combination with an electrical circuit protector of claim 1 wherein each said appropriate attachment means is solder.
- 3. The circuit overload indicator light for use in combination with an electrical circuit protector of claim 1 wherein said suitable attachment means is glue.
- 4. A circuit overload indicator light for use in combination with an electrical circuit protector comprising: a circuit overload indicator light; and an electrical circuit protector; said circuit overload indicator light having a first lead line and a second lead line extending there from for energizing said circuit overload indicator light, said electrical circuit protector having a housing for containment of all electrical components associated with said electrical circuit protector, said electrical circuit protector having a button housing, said all electrical components being interconnected for electrical communication there between, said electrical components including; a first terminal; a second terminal; a current responsive bimetallic element; and an interrupter blade reset button; said interrupter blade reset button having an activated position and an inactivated position, said circuit overload indicator light being mounted onto or within said button housing by suitable attachment means, each said lead line being retained within a recess formed within said button housing, said first lead line being interconnected to said first terminal by appropriate attachment means, said housing of said electrical circuit protector having an electroplated section which is in communication and attached to said second terminal by appropriate attachment means, and said second lead line being interconnected and fixedly attached by appropriate attachment means onto said electroplated section, whereby when said electrical circuit protector is subjected to an electrical overload, said interrupter blade reset button assumes said activated position which in turn automatically illuminates said circuit overload indicator light.
- 5. A circuit overload indicator light for use in combination with an electrical circuit protector comprising: a circuit overload indicator light; and an electrical circuit protector; said circuit overload indicator light having a first lead line and a second lead line extending there from for energizing said circuit overload indicator light, said electrical circuit protector having a housing for containment of all electrical components associated with said electrical circuit protector, said electrical circuit protector having a button housing, said all electrical components being interconnected for electrical communication there between, said electrical components including; a first terminal; a second terminal; a current responsive bimetallic element; and an interrupter blade reset button; said interrupter blade reset button having an activated position and an inactivated position, said circuit overload indicator light being mounted onto said button housing by suitable attachment means, said circuit protector housing and said button housing having a hole there through for slidably receiving each said lead line there through, said first lead line being of a sufficient length to extend from within said hole and throughout said circuit protector housing, said first lead line being fixedly attached to said first terminal by functional attachment means, said second lead line being of a sufficient length to extend from within said hole and throughout said circuit protector housing, and said second lead line being fixedly attached to said second terminal by functional attachment means, whereby when said electrical circuit protector is subjected to an electrical overload, said interrupter blade reset button assumes said activated position which in turn automatically illuminates said circuit overload indicator light.
- 6. The circuit overload indicator light for use in combination with an electrical circuit protector of claim 5 wherein first said functional attachment means includes said first lead line being wrapped around said first terminal, and said second functional attachment means includes said second lead line being wrapped around said second terminal.
- 7. A circuit overload indicator light for use in combination with an electrical circuit protector comprising: a circuit overload indicator light; and an electrical circuit protector; said circuit overload indicator light having a first lead line and a second lead line extending there from for energizing said circuit overload indicator light, said overload indicator light with said first lead line and said second lead line being contained within an elongated housing, said overload indicator light with each said lead line and said elongated housing in combination form a light stick, said electrical circuit protector having a housing for containment of all electrical components associated with said electrical circuit protector, said electrical circuit protector having a button housing, said all electrical components being interconnected for electrical communication there between, said electrical components including; a first terminal; a second terminal; a current responsive bimetallic element; and an interrupter blade reset button; said interrupter blade reset button having an activated position and an inactivated position, said circuit protector housing and said button housing having a hole there through for slidably receiving said light stick there through, said first lead line being of a sufficient length to extend from within said hole and throughout said circuit protector housing, said first lead line being fixedly attached to said first terminal by functional attachment means, said second lead line being of a sufficient length to extend from within said hole and throughout said circuit protector housing, and said second lead line being fixedly attached to said second terminal by functional attachment means, whereby when said electrical circuit protector is subjected to an electrical overload, said interrupter blade reset button assumes said activated position which in turn automatically illuminates said circuit overload indicator light.
- 8. A circuit overload indicator light for use in combination with a fuse holder comprising: a circuit overload indicator light; and a fuse holder which is used for removably receiving, energizing, and supporting a prior art fuse therein; said circuit overload indicator light having a first lead line and a second lead line extending there from for energizing said circuit overload indicator light, said fuse holder having a first electrical lead line extending there from; a second electrical lead line extending there from; a first terminal; and a second terminal; said first electrical lead line being in communication and interconnected onto said first terminal by appropriate attachment means, said second electrical lead line being in communication and interconnected onto said second terminal by appropriate attachment means, said circuit overload indicator light being fixedly mounted onto said fuse holder by suitable attachment means, said first lead line of said circuit overload indicator light being fixedly attached onto said first terminal by appropriate attachment means, and said second lead line of said circuit overload indicator light being fixedly attached onto said second terminal by appropriate attachment means, whereby when an electrical overload has occurred, said circuit overload indicator light will automatically illuminate.
- 9. The circuit overload indicator light for use in combination with a fuse holder of claim 8 wherein each said appropriate attachment means is solder.
- 10. The circuit overload indicator light for use in combination with a fuse holder of claim 8 wherein suitable attachment means is glue.
- 11. A circuit overload indicator light for use in combination with an electrical circuit protector comprising: a circuit overload indicator light; and an electrical circuit protector; said circuit overload indicator light having a first lead line and a second lead line extending there from for energizing said circuit overload indicator light, said electrical circuit protector having a housing; a mounting plate for mounting said circuit protector housing; a first terminal; and a second terminal; a commutator strip which is of a shape and size to mate with said circuit protector housing, said commutator strip being made from a material which allows for negative and positive contacts to be laminated therein, said circuit overload indicator light and each said lead extending from said circuit overload indicator light being laminated within said commutator strip, said commutator strip includes a first opening which is of a shape and size to slidably receive said first terminal there through, said commutator strip includes a second opening which is of a shape and size to slidably receive said second terminal there through, whereby said commutator strip can be easily slidably engaged over each said terminal onto a top section of said fuse housing, and said commutator strip being securely fastened onto said circuit protector housing by suitable fastening means, whereby when an electrical overload has occurred, said commutator strip will automatically energize and illuminate said circuit overload indicator light.
- 12. The circuit overload indicator light for use in combination with an electrical circuit protector of claim 11 wherein said suitable fastening means includes nuts and bolts.
- 13. The circuit overload indicator light for use in combination with an electrical circuit protector of claim 11 wherein said commutator strip may further include means for delivering a light beam to a remote location when said circuit overload indicator light is illuminated, whereby commutator strip includes a fiber optic line which is interconnected to said remote location.
- 14. A circuit overload indicator light and a fusible link in combination comprising: a circuit overload indicator light; and a fusible link; said circuit overload indicator light having a first lead line and a second lead line extending there from for energizing said circuit overload indicator light, said circuit overload indicator light with each said lead line being installed in line and electrically connected within existing circuitry which is normally associated with said fusible link, and said fusible link when subjected to an electrical overload will automatically break, whereby when an electrical overload has occurred, said circuit overload indicator light will automatically illuminate.
- 15. A circuit overload indicator light and a fuse adapter in combination comprising: a circuit overload indicator light; and a fuse adapter; said fuse adapter having a housing for containment of said circuit overload indicator light with circuitry for energizing said circuit overload indicator light and circuitry normally associated with said fuse adapter, and said fuse adapter being internally threaded for threadably receiving a prior art fuse therein, whereby when said fuse adapter is installed within a pre-existing fuse receptacle, said circuit overload indicator light automatically illuminates, whereby when said prior art fuse is threadably inserted and fixedly attached within said fuse adapter, said circuit overload indicator light automatically goes off, whereby when said prior art fuse is subjected to an electrical overload, said circuit overload indicator light automatically illuminates.
- 16. The circuit overload indicator light and fuse adapter of claim 15 wherein said fuse adapter further includes means for controlling return amperage, voltage, or current after the fuse has blown so as to protect against circuit overload.
- 17. The circuit overload indicator light and fuse adapter of claim 16 wherein said means for controlling return amperage, voltage or current is a resistor.
- 18. A circuit overload indicator light and an inline fuse adapter in combination comprising: a circuit overload indicator light; and a fuse adapter; said fuse adapter having a housing which is of a shape and size to be frictionally engaged within a typical inline fuse receptacle, said housing includes said circuit overload indicator light with appropriate circuitry for energizing said circuit overload indicator light and appropriate circuitry normally associated with said inline fuse therein, and said inline fuse adapter having an internal cavity for receiving and retaining a typical pre-existing in line fuse, whereby when said inline fuse adapter housing is installed within said typical fuse receptacle, said circuit overload indicator light automatically illuminates, whereby when said prior art inline fuse is inserted and fixedly attached within said inline fuse adapter, said circuit overload indicator light automatically goes off, whereby when said prior art inline fuse is subjected to an electrical overload, said circuit overload indicator light automatically illuminates.
- 19. The circuit overload indicator light and fuse adapter of claim 18 wherein said fuse adapter further includes means for controlling return amperage, voltage, or current after the fuse has blown so as to protect against circuit overload.
- 20. The circuit overload indicator light and fuse adapter of claim 19 wherein said means for controlling return amperage, voltage or current is a resistor.
