INDIVIDUAL SCAFFOLDING POST

Abstract
An individual scaffolding post made of metal for facade scaffolding or of facade scaffolding has secured thereon a single rosette for detachably securing at least one horizontal bar. A railing securing device is secured above the rosette, on which a railing strut is detachably supported. The railing securing device includes a rigid bracket permanently secured to the post, which together with an outer surface of the post surrounds and engages around a vertical receiving slit through-opening. A railing rod end of the railing strut has a first recess on the underside, which is open to side surfaces of the railing rod end extending away from one another and is open downwards. The railing rod end has a mounting hook limiting a first recess and partially surrounding same with its free hook end extending to the rear. The free hook end engages behind the bracket contact part of the bracket.
Description

The invention relates to an individual scaffolding post of metal, particularly of steel, for a facade scaffolding or of a facade scaffolding.

A vertical frame element with a first post, to which a single apertured disc is secured by welding in the region of its upper post end, is evident from EP 1 911 907 A1 of the Applicant. A first connecting head, which is provided with a plug-on slot, of a transverse arm, which is formed by a round tube and which extends perpendicularly away from the first post, is plugged onto the apertured disc. The first connecting head, which is formed on the round tube of the transverse arm, is fixedly welded to the apertured disc of the first post and to the outer circumference thereof. The transverse arm has at its end facing away from the first post a separate, second connecting head which is fixedly welded to the round tube. The second connecting head similarly has a plug-on slot by which it is plugged onto an apertured disc of a second post and fixedly wedge-connected thereat by means of a wedge to be detachable again. The apertured disc of the second post is secured to the second scaffolding post below the longitudinal centre thereof. Accordingly, the second connecting head is connected by way of a separate, second post of the same length, but with an apertured disc mounted at a different height, to form a lateral frame stiff in bending and torsion. Two railing securing devices in the form of bolts, which are of the same form and extend perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the scaffolding post away therefrom, are secured to the second post above the apertured disc thereof. The second post is built onto a short post with formation of a lateral vertical frame for connection of leading railing. A scaffolding, which is erected so as to form a facade frame with a leading railing, can be built up on this vertical frame element. It is not possible, without additional components, to suspend railing devices by railing securing devices of the second post to be secure against dropping down, particularly railing devices with at least one railing rod or constructed as a railing rod, the railing rod ends of which have a securing or suspension recess which is open towards side surfaces—which extend away from another—and downwardly. The said separate, second post has the features a) to g) of claim 1.

A similar scaffolding frame with two scaffolding posts has become known from EP 1 672 140 A2. This scaffolding frame similarly includes an individual second scaffolding post. A single apertured disc is similarly secured to this second scaffolding post below its longitudinal centre. This second scaffolding post is provided with vertical bushes and with horizontal bushes, at each of which a hook-shaped end (not described in more detail) of a diagonal or lateral scaffolding element can be suspended. A first horizontal bush is secured closely below the apertured disc and a second horizontal bush appears to be secured above the apertured disc at a spacing from the lower post end, which as measured from the figures corresponds with approximately 80% of the post length. A first vertical bush appears to be secured in the region of the upper post end. A second vertical bush appears to be secured at a height near to and below the longitudinal centre between the upper post end and the apertured disc. A mentioned scaffolding element (not described in more detail) can indeed be suspended at each of the said bushes, but it is unclear how. This second scaffolding post has the features a) to d) as well as h) to m) of claim 1.

A further similar individual scaffolding post in the form of a scaffolding upright for system scaffoldings for equipping structures has become known from EP 2 083 132 A2. This in turn carries an apertured disc closely below its longitudinal centre and has, above the apertured disc, two securing devices either in the form of tilt pins or in the form of upwardly open receiving brackets. The tilt pins consist of a base, which is oriented at right angles to the tube of the scaffolding post, in the form of a bolt with a cylindrical cross-section. A vertical slot is provided at its end remote from the tube. The cylinder sections adjoining the slot are each penetrated by a bore in which a bolt is arranged. A tilt element is rotatably disposed on the bolt and is arranged to be pointed at its end hanging down under gravitational force. The upwardly open receiving brackets, which can be alternatively provided, are each produced from a receiving pin which is welded to the tube at an acute angle. Each receiving bracket therefore has a wedge-shaped form on its side remote from the base. A receiving opening, which results from the spacing of the free end of the receiving pin from the tube, is formed on its side remote from the base. Adjacent to the receiving opening the receiving pin is bent over approximately at right angles to the tube of the scaffolding post. The two alternative securing devices enable mounting of the struts, which form a railing, from a safe position. This is ensured by the fact that the struts forming the railing can be introduced onto the receiving pins from the safe position. In the case of use of the receiving bracket, a passage opening, which is provided at the free end of the strut forming the railing, of the strut forming the railing has to be inserted into the said receiving opening and then introduced onto the receiving slot. By exactly which process, in the case of use of this scaffolding post, a leading mounting of the railing struts is performed is not disclosed. With the upwardly open receiving brackets provided in this specification other railing devices could indeed in theory—contrary to the teaching in that with use of the railing devices disclosed therein—be suspended, namely such railing devices which are constructed with at least one railing rod or as a railing rod, the railing rod ends of which have a fastening or suspension recess, which is open towards side surfaces—which extend away from one another—and downwardly and which would be able to be placed on the wedge-shaped formation of one of the receiving brackets or suspended thereat, but these railing devices would then not be secured against unintended lifting out of the upwardly open receiving brackets. This scaffolding post has the features a) to f), and in part h), k) and m) to o) of claim 1.

A further, similar individual vertical support for construction of a facade scaffolding which can be broken down and a method for assembly or disassembly of the facade scaffolding which can be broken down have become known from WO 98/07934 A. Two special securing means for railing elements, for example railing rods, are secured to this vertical support at a mutual longitudinal spacing above a single rosette provided for a floor plate, which rosette has passages for suspension of the floor plates. This vertical support has an effective total length of approximately 2 metres. The special securing means for the railing rods are attachment members extending substantially perpendicularly to the vertical support, wherein two alternatives of attachment members are disclosed. In the first alternative each attachment member has on its upper side and lower side, respectively, two projections which are offset relative to one another and extend away from one another. Each railing rod has two identical railing rod ends extending away from one another in opposite directions. Each railing rod end is constructed as a continuously encircling strap having a rectangular passage. The passage is formed as a slot, which as considered in a direction parallel to the railing rod longitudinal axis has a length and, perpendicularly thereto, a width with a transverse dimension smaller than the length of the passage. The transverse dimension of the passage is selected so that the railing rod can, with execution of alternating pivot motions, be introduced onto the respective attachment member. In the second alternative each attachment member is formed by two part members arranged one above the other, wherein one part member has two projections extending in the direction of the other part member and the other part member has two recesses aligned with the projections. In order to introduce a railing rod end, this is introduced by its strap above the lower part member similarly with execution of alternating pivot motions. For erecting a facade scaffolding the assembler initially stands on a floor plate of a first level. In that case, the assembler is safeguarded by at least one railing element, which is detachably coupled to securing means of vertical supports associated with the first level. After plugging of a further vertical support onto the lower vertical support by way of a plug connection the assembler suspends a further railing element by the ends thereof at a securing position, which is provided for that purpose, of a securing element of the further vertical support plugged onto the lower vertical support. After this further railing element has been coupled at its other end to a further vertical support to be pivotable relative thereto the further railing element is pivoted upwardly with the help of the said vertical support and together with this, in particular, by the assembler standing on the floor plate of the lower level, who in that case holds the further vertical support by hand, whereupon the said further vertical support is plugged onto a further vertical support already erected thereunder. Consequently, in this installed position the further railing element for a second level lying above the first level is already erected before the further floor plate needed for the second level has been secured. After mounting of the further floor plate for the second level this can be walked on by the assembler for the first time. At this point in time, the said further railing element is already mounted beforehand, so that lateral protection for the assembler is already present when he or she walks on the further floor plate. This scaffolding post does indeed permit advantageous mounting of a leading railing from a safeguarded position, but plugging of the railing onto the attachment members is possible only obliquely from below, i.e. from the scaffolding position thereunder, in that the railing is plugged from below onto the attachment member at an angle of less than 90 degrees to the longitudinal axis of the scaffolding post. A horizontal mounting of railings from the same scaffolding position is not possible in these constructions. This scaffolding post has the features a) to g) of claim 1.

A building scaffolding with at least two H-shaped vertical frames has become known from EP 2 503 075 A1. Each of the H-shaped vertical frames consist of supports formed from two tubes. The two tubes are connected together by a cross member, which is welded to the tubes. The vertical frame comprises two securing devices, which serve for arrangement of bars serving as means for safeguarding against falling down. Two of these securing devices are secured to each tube above the cross member. Each of these securing devices is formed as an upwardly open receiving bracket. Each receiving bracket is produced by a pin which is bent over twice substantially at right angles. A receiving opening is formed on the side, which is remote from the ground, between the pin and the tube. The pin is bent over approximately at right angles adjacent to the receiving opening, so that a substantially vertical section results. Formed at right angles to this section is a support section which is oriented at right angles to the tube and welded to the tube. This securing device also serves for arrangement of bars which form the railing and thus a safeguard against falling down. The bars have, at the ends thereof, flat members in which respective passage holes are arranged. In order to mount the safeguard against falling down from a safe position the bars forming the safeguard against falling down are suspended at the securing position by the scaffolding erector—standing on stairs—from the hatch which is provided in a cladding. This takes place through introducing the pin of the receiving bracket into the passage hole of the bar. Subsequently thereto the other end of the bar is secured to the vertical frame in the region of the opening hatch in the same manner. By virtue of this mounting procedure the region, which is provided with the hatch, between the vertical frame in the upper level is safeguarded so that the scaffolding erector can walk on the scaffolding floor in this safeguarded region of this upper level. For further erecting of the safeguard against falling down, it is necessary to mount the railing bars in the next scaffolding bay between adjacent vertical frames, in which scaffolding floors were already mounted from below. In order to prevent the scaffolding erector from entering this scaffolding bay, which is not yet safeguarded against falling down, before a safeguard against falling down—in the form of a railing bar—has also been mounted thereat, there is provided a detachably locked transverse strut which when further erecting of the building scaffolding is carried out forms a barrier for the scaffolding erector. The scaffolding erector shall as a result be encouraged to suspend the railing bar for the next scaffolding bay—from the already safeguarded position in front of the transverse struts forming the barrier—at the securing devices of the vertical supports of the vertical frame of the adjacent scaffolding bay. This method for mounting a leading railing is costly in terms of time and effort for the scaffolding erector and accordingly less practicable. Each vertical frame of this building scaffolding does indeed include two vertical supports, but none of these supports is an individual support. As considered in a form detached from the H-shaped vertical frame, one of the supports has the features a), b), in part d), e) to g), in part h), i), k), m) and o) of claim 1.

A similar H-shaped vertical frame for tubular scaffoldings is already known from the specification DE 10 2008 005 813 A1. In addition, there has already become known therefrom a vertical frame having a securing device which, from a safeguarded position, enables leading assembly of railing bars safeguarding against falling down. However, this vertical frame is not in a position of preventing the scaffolding erector from walking on the scaffolding floor of a scaffolding bay not yet provided with a safeguard against falling down. To that extent, the method used therein for leading assembly of safeguards against falling down does not satisfy the high level of safety requirements. Moreover, the method already described therein for leading assembly of safeguards against falling down is also correspondingly expensive and less practicable. This vertical frame does indeed also include vertical supports, but again none of these supports is an individual support. As considered in the form detached from the H-shaped vertical frame, one of the supports has the features a), b), in part d), e), in part h), i), k), m) and o) of claim 1.

A rigid U-shaped scaffolding frame for a facade scaffolding or of a facade scaffolding has become known from EP 1 983 129 A2 and WO 2008/128500 A2 of the Applicant. In the case of this scaffolding frame two parallel vertical supports are rigidly connected together in the region of the upper support ends thereof at securing positions, which are provided at the same height, by way of a single transverse arm extending perpendicularly to the vertical supports. A single apertured disc, which is provided with passages, is secured by welding to each support at the respective securing position. The passages serve for firm wedge-connection of rod elements, which are provided with so-called connecting heads, to the vertical support. Longitudinal bars and transverse bars are usually used as rod elements. The transverse arm has at each of its securing ends facing away from one another a respective connecting head with a plug-in slot, by way of which the respective connecting head is plugged onto the respective apertured disc and fixedly welded thereto as well as to the respective vertical support. Two railing securing devices are secured to one of the two vertical supports below the apertured disc at a longitudinal spacing from one another, wherein a first railing securing device of the railing securing devices is secured closely below the longitudinal centre of the associated vertical support and wherein a second railing securing device of the railing securing devices is secured approximately in the middle between the first railing securing device and the lower support end of this vertical support. Each railing securing device comprises a mount and a locking lever pivotable relative to the mount about a pivot axis. The mount is secured to the associated vertical support by welding. The mount is a U-shaped bracket. Formed between the bracket wall parts of the bracket and the outer wall of the support is a passage opening with configuration of a vertical receiving slot which extends parallel to the longitudinal access of the support. The locking lever can be pivoted from an open setting to a locking setting. The railing devices in the form of railing rods can be installed not only from the same scaffolding position, but also, if required in order to create a leading railing, from a scaffolding position or level lying thereunder. For that purpose, the respective railing rod can be suspended or introduced from below, particularly obliquely from below, into the mount formed as a bracket, preferably with the locking lever disposed in its locking setting, thus closed. For that purpose, the railing rod, with a part of a railing rod end of its railing rod ends plugged into the vertical receiving slot, is placed or suspended on a horizontal support surface of a support element of the mount and subsequently pivoted upwardly into a horizontal installed setting. This scaffolding frame does indeed also include vertical supports, but again none of these supports is an individual support. However, this scaffolding frame with its special railing securing devices has a number of advantages by comparison with other railing securing devices of other scaffolding frames or also individual scaffolding posts. There are particularly advantageous possibilities for securing or locking the railing device and/or assembly and/or for disassembly of the railing device as well as for a particularly stable construction. A connecting arrangement consisting of this scaffolding frame and a railing device, which is detachably mounted on the special railing securing device thereof, can be produced particularly simply and economically, can be built up and taken down particularly simply and rapidly, offers particularly advantageous possibilities for installation and deinstallation of the railing device not only from the same scaffolding position, but also from below as a leading railing, and enables demounting of the railing device without requiring demounting of an adjacent railing device. As considered in a form detached from the U-shaped scaffolding frame, one of the two supports has the features a) to c) and e) to v) of claim 1.

In parallel US 2010/0089697 A1 of the Applicant there is illustration and description on the basis of additional figures of how the building of a leading railing can be carried out. Within the scope of that, in addition an alternative embodiment of a scaffolding frame is also shown and described, this being a rigid H-shaped scaffolding frame. The two parallel vertical supports are there rigidly connected together in the region of the longitudinal centre thereof at securing positions, which are provided at the same height, by way of a single transverse arm extending perpendicularly to the vertical supports. A single apertured disc, which is provided with passages, is also secured here by welding to each support at the respective securing position. Two railing securing devices are secured at a mutual longitudinal spacing to each of the two vertical supports above the apertured disc, wherein a first railing securing device of the railing securing devices is secured approximately in the longitudinal centre between the apertured disc and the upper support end of the associated vertical support and wherein the second railing securing device of the railing securing devices is secured in the region of the upper support end of this vertical support. The mounts and locking levers are of the same design as already described and shown in the first embodiment of a scaffolding frame. However, it is also possible to use, instead of this H-shaped scaffolding frame, another H-shaped scaffolding frame in which only one vertical support of the two vertical supports, which are rigidly connected together by means of a corresponding transverse arm, can be provided with at least one identical railing securing device, but preferably similarly with two identical railing securing devices. For construction of a leading railing the scaffolding erector has to manually position upwardly the H-shaped scaffolding frame together with a railing device detachably secured thereto. However, it has proved that this is impossible, or is possible only with very substantial strain, for the scaffolding erector and is connected with corresponding risks to safety. As considered in a form detached from the H-shaped scaffolding frame, one of the two supports has the features a) to v).

Facade scaffoldings (system scaffoldings) are built up from the afore-mentioned vertical frame and scaffolding frame. Such facade scaffoldings are predominantly work and protective scaffoldings for safe working on facades or a protective scaffolding which prevents falling down of persons or material. The afore-mentioned vertical frame and scaffolding frame are, however, too heavy for a scaffolding builder for these to be positioned upwardly—without risks to the well-being of the scaffolding builder and without further safety risks—together with the railing device detachably articulated thereto from a lower level or from the ground for construction of a leading railing at the next higher level.

Transverse girders and transverse girder elements for a modular scaffolding have become known from U.S. Pat. No. 3,656,580 A, which discloses at at least one of the ends thereof a connecting body with a guide pin, which widens in wedge shape in downward direction, and with a securing wedge placeable against the rear rest surface thereof, by means of which the respective transverse girder or the respective transverse girder element can be firmly clamped to one of several mounts of a scaffolding post to be detachable. The mounts are vertical bushes for vertical insertion of the respective guide pin. These bushes do not make possible horizontal insertion of the guide pin. The individual scaffolding posts have the features a), b), in part d), e) to g), k) (detached) and m) of claim 1.

Similar connecting junctions of a connection arrangement of a modular scaffolding have become known from AU 518 442 B2. These have the same disadvantages. The individual scaffolding posts have the features a), b), in part d), e) to g) and k) (detached), m) and u) to x) of claim 1.

The Applicant has marketed for many decades in large numbers a ground-breaking modular scaffolding system which has become known under the designation “Layher Allround Scaffolding”. Such modular scaffoldings are predominantly used as area or spatial scaffoldings, for example in industry as a work scaffolding and protective scaffolding. However, they can also be used as facade scaffoldings. In this modular scaffolding the post axes of the individual scaffolding posts are to be built up parallel to one another at specific system axial spacings. For this purpose, a number of scaffolding bars in different system lengths is made available. These scaffolding bars have at the bar ends thereof so-called connecting heads which are each provided with an upper head part and a lower head part and with a slot arranged therebetween for horizontal plugging onto apertured discs of the scaffolding posts. The scaffolding bars are detachably fixable to the scaffolding posts by firm clamping with the help of the connecting heads, which are mounted at the two bar ends thereof facing away from one another, in each instance by means of a wedge which can be plugged or is plugged through a passage opening of the passage openings of the respectively associated apertured disc. These modular scaffoldings are system scaffoldings in which the apertured discs are welded to the scaffolding posts at regular intervals, preferably at a grid dimension of 50 centimetres. The apertured discs serve for detachable securing of other scaffolding components such as bars, diagonals, brackets or other scaffolding parts. Specific ones of these bars can be mounted as railings. Scaffolding posts of that kind are disclosed in, for example, DE 10 2011 001 796 A1 or the parallel WO 2012/136198 A1. The apertured discs usually have eight passage holes, which are respectively arranged to be offset relative to one another at a circumferential angle of 45 degrees. Apertured discs of that kind are disclosed in, for example, DE 200 12 598 U1 or the parallel WO 02/06610 A1 of the Applicant. These individual scaffolding posts disclose the features a) to g) of claim 1. If facade scaffoldings are to be constructed from these individual scaffolding components it is desirable if, for reasons of safety, these are built up with a leading railing, so that rope protection is no longer necessary.

It is an object of the invention to make available an individual first scaffolding post for a facade scaffolding or of a facade scaffolding, which is detachably connected with a railing device constructed with at least one railing rod or as a railing rod, which has railing rod ends which face away from one another in opposite directions and each comprise a railing rod support part with a recess for suspension in or for placing on a support part of a mount, which is fastened to the individual first scaffolding post, of the individual first scaffolding post, wherein the respective recess is open towards side surfaces, which extend away from one another, of the respective railing rod end and downwardly and wherein the railing rod can be suspended at the mount of the individual first scaffolding post to hang down freely and to be pivotable upwardly relative to the individual first scaffolding post before the railing rod is transferred upwardly into its horizontal installed setting, and wherein the railing rod is suspended to be always secured against dropping down not only in the case of free, vertical downward suspension at the mount and in the case of a vertical inclined setting during upward pivotation for the purpose of transfer into a horizontal installed setting, particularly as a leading railing, as well as in the horizontal installed setting, but also in the case of its demounting in which its free, second railing rod end is released starting from the horizontal installed setting or starting from the or an inclined setting, and wherein with the help of the individual first scaffolding post and the railing device a facade scaffolding can be mounted and demounted again particularly simply, quickly and especially safely together with a leading railing. At the same time, while maintaining the advantages of the foregoing prior art, the disadvantages thereof shall be avoided.

This object is fulfilled by the features of claim 1.

Accordingly, the invention relates to an individual first scaffolding post of metal, particularly of steel, for a facade scaffolding or of a facade scaffolding with the following features:

a) the individual first scaffolding post is so arranged or erected in a use or mounted setting that its post longitudinal axis extends vertically, particularly perpendicularly or substantially perpendicularly,

q) a locking lever is secured to the individual first scaffolding post or to the bracket and is pivotable about a pivot axis relative to the individual first scaffolding post and relative to the bracket, the lever having a locking surface for mechanically positive locking, preferably free of clamping force, of the railing device in a locking setting against the device being vertically removed in upward direction,

r) the locking lever is secured with the help of securing means, which contains the pivot axis, to the individual first scaffolding post or to the bracket or to the bracket securing part of the bracket and is pivotable about the pivot axis in downward direction from an unlocking setting into the locking setting and conversely,

s) the locking surface of the locking lever in its locking setting is opposite the support surface of the bracket rest part and in the locking setting is arranged at a vertical spacing above the support surface of the bracket rest part,

t) the pivot axis in the locking setting of the locking lever is arranged at a vertical spacing above the locking surface of the locking lever,

u) the first railing rod end in the horizontal installed setting of the first railing rod has at the lower side a first recess which is open towards side surfaces, which extend away from one another, of the first railing rod end and downwardly and which is bounded by recess support surfaces of the railing rod end support part of the first railing rod end,

v) the second railing rod end in the horizontal installed setting of the first railing rod has at the lower side a first recess which is open towards side surfaces, which extend away from one another, of the second railing rod end and downwardly and which is bounded by recess support surfaces of the railing rod end support part of the second railing rod end,

w) the first railing rod end is formed with a suspension hook which bounds the first recess of the railing rod end support part and which partly surrounds the first recess by its free hook end extending rearwardly, preferably also in the direction of the second railing rod end,

x) the free hook end of the suspension hook has hook end support surfaces which are respective recess support surfaces of the recess support surfaces, which delimit the first recess, of the railing rod end support part of the first railing rod,

y) the first railing rod end is supported by way of at least one recess support surface of the recess support surfaces of its railing rod end support part on the bracket rest part of the bracket and extends at least by its suspension hook through the vertical receiving slot, wherein the bracket rest part of the bracket is received at least partly in the first recess of the first railing rod end and the free hook end of the suspension hook engages behind the bracket rest part of the bracket.

Stated in other words, the invention is a connecting arrangement which consists of at least one individual first scaffolding post with the aforesaid features and of at least one railing device with the aforesaid features, which is detachably supported at or on the bracket rest part of the railing securing device constructed as a bracket.

Due to the fact that the bracket and the outer surface of the individual first scaffolding post bound and surround a passage opening for horizontal insertion, particularly insertion taking place perpendicularly to the post longitudinal axis, of the first railing rod end and for reception of a railing rod end support part of the first railing rod end over the whole circumference or substantially over the whole circumference, thus continuously without interruption, not only a simple and economic production, but also a particularly stable execution of the mounting is made possible, whereby the locking element is positionable particularly stably and securely.

Due to the fact that the first railing rod end is formed with a suspension hook, which bounds the first recess of the railing rod end support part and which partly surrounds the first recess by its free hook end extending in rearward direction and preferably also in the direction of the second railing rod end, and that the free hook end of the suspension hook has hook-end support surfaces, which are respective recess support surfaces of the recess support surfaces—which bound the first recess—of the railing rod end support part of the first railing rod, and that the first railing rod end is supported on the bracket rest part of the bracket by way of at least one recess support surface of the recess support surfaces of its railing rod end support part and extends at least by its suspension hook through the vertical receiving slot, wherein the bracket rest part of the bracket is received at least partly in the first recess of the first railing rod end and the free hook end of the suspension hook engages behind the bracket rest part of the bracket, the railing rod can hang freely downwardly at the mounting of the individual first scaffolding post and be suspended to be pivotable upwardly relative to the individual first scaffolding post before the railing rod is transferred upwardly into its horizontal installed setting. In addition, through the aforesaid measures the railing rod is suspended to always be secured against dropping down not only when it is mounted, but also when it is demounted.

In addition, with the help of the individual first scaffolding post and the railing device according to the invention a facade scaffolding can be manually mounted particularly simply, quickly and especially safely as a leading railing and also demounted again.

By “substantially over the full circumference” in the sense of this protective right, particularly in the sense of the feature I) of this protective right, it is meant that the passage opening, which is bounded by the outer surface of the associated individual scaffolding post and by the bracket and which is formed as a vertical receiving slot, is surrounded substantially continuously without interruption not only by the bracket, but also by the outer surface of the post in such a way that the bracket is interrupted at most by a slot or gap, which does not exclude the first railing rod end, which is plugged into or suspended in the passage opening formed as a vertical receiving slot, of the first railing rod from then being able to be unhooked or withdrawn from the bracket through the slot or gap if the locking lever is disposed in a or its open or unlocking setting.

By “full circumference” in the sense of this protective right, particularly in the sense of the feature o) of this protective right, it is meant that the passage opening, which is bounded by the outer surface of the associated individual scaffolding post and by the bracket and which is formed as a vertical receiving slot, is continuously closed without interruption not only by the bracket, but also by the outer surface of the post.

According to a particularly preferred embodiment it can be provided that the hook-end support surfaces are flat or planar and arranged at an angle, which is preferably between 15 degrees and 45 degrees or between 18 degrees and 22 degrees or approximately 20 degrees or between 27 degrees and 33 degrees or approximately 30 degrees, to the railing rod end longitudinal axis 48 or to the railing rod longitudinal axis of the individual first railing rod. By virtue of these apparently simple measures it is unexpectedly possible to achieve at the time of mounting a simple and disturbance-free, particularly snagging-free, upward pivotation of the first railing rod, which is suspended at the bracket rest part of the individual first scaffolding post, and equally at the time of demounting a simple and disturbance-free, particularly snagging-free, withdrawal of the first railing rod from the vertical receiving slot of the bracket, and in particular in a demounting setting in which the first railing rod, which is suspended at the bracket rest part of the individual first scaffolding post, adopts an oblique setting at a downward inclination.

According to a particularly advantageous variant of embodiment it can be provided that the suspension hook has a hook base, which bounds the first recess forwardly and which is formed concavely to be circularly cylindrical with a radius and the recess support surfaces of which go over progressively, thus continuously, in kink-free and step-free manner or tangentially, into the hook-end support surfaces of the free hook end. The aforesaid advantages can thereby be achieved to a particular degree.

In that case, it can be provided that the bracket rest part has bracket side surfaces which extend parallel to the post axis and face away from one another in opposite directions, that the bracket rest part has a wall thickness, which is preferably less than 7 millimetres or is approximately 5 millimetres, as considered in a direction perpendicular to the bracket side surfaces and that a diameter, which is preferably approximately 8 millimetres, spanned by the radius of the hook base is slightly larger than the wall thickness of the bracket rest part, and preferably smaller than twice the wall thickness of the bracket rest part. As a result, the aforesaid advantages can be even better realised.

According to a particularly advantageous embodiment it can be provided that the first recess of the first railing rod end of the first railing rod as considered in a direction parallel to the railing rod end longitudinal axis or in a direction parallel to the railing rod longitudinal axis has in a recess part, which is bounded by the hook base, a minimum recess length larger than a maximum height of the bracket rest part as considered in the direction of the post longitudinal axis or in a direction parallel to the post longitudinal axis. It can thereby be achieved that the first railing rod, which is suspended by means of its suspension hook at the bracket rest part of the bracket of the individual first scaffolding post, can freely hang vertically, particularly perpendicularly or at least approximately perpendicularly, downwardly.

According to a particularly preferred embodiment it can be provided that an individual second scaffolding post of metal, particularly of steel, which has the features of the individual first scaffolding post according to any one of the preceding claims or is designed to be the same as the individual first scaffolding post, is provided, wherein the first railing rod is detachably supported by its second railing rod end by way of a recess support surface of the recess support surfaces of the first recess of the second railing rod end at the bracket rest part of the individual second scaffolding post, and wherein the first railing rod, which is supported by way of the railing rod end support part of its first railing rod end on the bracket rest part of the bracket of the individual first scaffolding post, is pivotable out in upward direction, starting from a railing rod mounting intermediate setting in which it extends obliquely downwardly from the bracket rest part of the bracket of the individual first scaffolding post, while bearing against the bracket rest part of the bracket, from a lower level, which is constructed with at least one scaffolding floor, or from the ground with the help of the individual second scaffolding post, by an assembler standing on, in particular, a scaffolding floor of the lower level or on the ground, preferably from a safeguarded position, through gripping the individual second scaffolding post by hand and manually positioning the individual second scaffolding post in upward direction, relative to the individual first scaffolding post as a leading railing into the horizontal installed setting, and wherein the second railing rod end in the horizontal installed setting of the first railing rod has at the upper side a second recess which is formed to be open towards side surfaces, which extend away from one another, of the second railing rod end and upwardly as well as in such a way that not only in a or the unlocking setting of the locking lever of the railing securing device of the individual scaffolding post, but also in the locking setting of the locking lever of the railing securing device of the individual second scaffolding post and in a post mounting intermediate setting of the individual second scaffolding post, in which the individual second scaffolding post is supported by its lower post end directly on at least one scaffolding floor of the lower level or on the height of a scaffolding floor of the lower level or on the ground and in which the individual second scaffolding post is so erected, preferably held by the hand of a or the assembler, that its post longitudinal axis extends vertically, particularly perpendicularly or substantially perpendicularly, a railing rod mounting intermediate setting of the first railing rod is possible at a mounting angle which is either included by a notional horizontal, which is formed perpendicularly to the second post axis, and by the railing rod end longitudinal axis 48 of the second railing rod end or by a notional horizontal, which is formed perpendicularly to the second post axis, and by the railing rod longitudinal axis of the first railing rod, and wherein the mounting angle is the same size as or larger than 15 degrees or the mounting angle is the same size as or larger than 20 degrees or the mounting angle is the same size as or larger than 30 degrees. As a result, the individual second scaffolding post can, for the purpose of mounting a leading railing comprising the first railing rod, be erected perpendicularly on a scaffolding floor of the lower level or on the ground without in the case of the predominantly usual bay length of the associated scaffolding bay or in the case of mounting of a railing device constructed with the first railing rod or as the first railing rod, which has the predominantly usual railing rod length, particularly of approximately 3.07 metres, occasioning a collision of the first railing rod in the region of its second railing rod end with the associated bracket and/or with the associated locking lever of the at least one first railing securing device of the individual second scaffolding post.

According to a development it can be provided that the first railing rod is formed to be substantially mirror symmetrical about a notional longitudinal centre plane of symmetry formed perpendicularly to its railing rod longitudinal axis.

The invention also relates to a facade scaffolding constructed from a vertical individual first scaffolding post according to any one of the preceding claims and from at least one vertical individual second scaffolding post which has the features of the individual first scaffolding post according to any one of the preceding claims or is of the same design as the individual first scaffolding post, wherein the first railing rod in its horizontal installed setting, preferably at an angle of 90 degrees to the post longitudinal axis of the individual first scaffolding post and at an angle of 90 degrees to the post longitudinal axis of the at least one individual second scaffolding post, rests by the railing rod end support part of its first railing rod end on the support surface of the bracket rest part of the bracket of the individual first scaffolding post and engages by the free hook end of the suspension hook of the first railing rod end behind the bracket rest part of the bracket of the individual first scaffolding post and rests by the railing rod end support part of its second railing rod end on the support surface of the bracket rest part of the bracket of the at least one individual second scaffolding post and engages by the free hook end of the suspension hook of the second railing rod end behind the bracket rest part of the bracket of the at least one individual second scaffolding post, and wherein the individual first scaffolding post and the at least one individual second scaffolding post are arranged at a scaffolding post longitudinal spacing relative to one another at a first longitudinal side, preferably remote from a facade, of the facade scaffolding, wherein the post longitudinal axis of the individual first scaffolding post and the post longitudinal axis of the at least one individual second scaffolding post extend parallel to one another, and wherein a vertical individual first modular scaffolding post and at least one vertical individual second modular scaffolding post, to which several rosettes are respectively permanently secured at a mutual longitudinal spacing corresponding with a grid dimension, preferably of 50 centimetres, are arranged, or several rosettes, particularly apertured discs, are permanently secured, preferably by welding, at regular longitudinal spacings of a grid dimension, preferably of 50 centimetres, the rosettes preferably being of the same design as the rosette of the individual first scaffolding post and the rosette of the individual second scaffolding post, and wherein a rosette of the rosettes of the individual first modular scaffolding post and a rosette of the rosettes of the at least one individual second modular scaffolding post are arranged at a rosette height which corresponds with a rosette height of the rosette of the individual first scaffolding post and a rosette height of the at least one individual second scaffolding post, and wherein the individual first modular scaffolding post and the at least one individual second modular scaffolding post are arranged at a modular scaffolding post longitudinal spacing from one another at a second longitudinal side, preferably associated with a facade, of the facade scaffolding which is the same size as the scaffolding post longitudinal spacing, wherein the post longitudinal axis of the individual first modular scaffolding post and the post longitudinal axis of the at least one individual second modular scaffolding post extend parallel to the post longitudinal axis of the individual first scaffolding post and parallel to the post longitudinal axis of the at least one individual second scaffolding post, and wherein either a horizontal first transverse bar, preferably extending perpendicularly to the first railing rod, is detachably secured to the rosette of the rosettes of the individual first modular scaffolding post and to the rosette of the individual first scaffolding post and a horizontal second transverse bar, preferably extending perpendicularly to the first railing rod and preferably extending parallel to the first transverse bar, is detachably secured to the rosette of the rosettes of the at least one individual second modular scaffolding post and to the rosette of the at least one individual second scaffolding post, and wherein at least one horizontal scaffolding floor is detachably secured to the first transverse bar and to the second transverse bar, or a horizontal first longitudinal bar, preferably extending parallel to the first railing rod, is detachably secured to the rosette of the rosettes of the individual first modular scaffolding post and to the rosette of the rosettes of the at least one individual second modular scaffolding post and a horizontal second longitudinal bar, preferably extending parallel to the first railing rod and preferably extending parallel to the first longitudinal bar, is detachably secured to the rosette of the rosettes of the at least one individual second scaffolding post and to the rosette of the rosettes of the at least one individual second scaffolding post, and wherein at least one horizontal scaffolding floor is detachably secured to the first longitudinal bar and to the second longitudinal bar. A facade scaffolding of that kind based on a modular scaffolding system can be mounted particularly advantageously, simply and safely with at least one leading railing device, which includes the first railing rod, so that rope protection is no longer required.

It will be obvious that the aforesaid measures can be combined with one another as desired within the scope of feasibility.

FIG. 1 shows a facade scaffolding 20 which includes several individual vertical posts 21; 21.1, 21.2, 21.3, several individual horizontal transverse bars 22, several individual horizontal scaffolding floors 23 and several individual railing rods 24; 24.1, 24.2.

Several individual vertical posts 21; 21.1, 21.2, 21.3 are arranged to be supported on the ground 34 by way of height-adjustable foot spindles 25 and start members 26. The start members 26 each have on the vertical tube members thereof a respective apertured disc 30, which is also termed rosette. Longitudinal bars 33 provided with slotted connecting heads 32 and transverse bars 22 provided with slotted connecting heads 32 are each firmly and detachably clamped at passage holes 31, 31.2 of these apertured discs 30 by means of a respective wedge 35 in such a way that a stable base frame is constructed.

Vertical short modular scaffolding posts 21.2 are plugged onto the front, first longitudinal side 38.1, which is preferably remote from a facade, of the facade scaffolding 20 and also on the rear longitudinal side 38.1, which preferably faces a or the facade, on tube receptacles of the vertical start members 26. The effective modular post length of the modular scaffolding posts is approximately 1 metre. In each instance two apertured discs 30 are secured to the short modular scaffolding posts 21.2 at a longitudinal spacing in a grid dimension of approximately 50 centimetres. The respective lower apertured disc 30 has the same longitudinal spacing, preferably of approximately 50 centimetres, from the respective upper apertured disc 30 of the respectively associated start member 26. Longitudinal bars 33, which are provided with slotted connecting heads 32, as railings for safeguarding against falling down are each fixedly and detachably clamped by means of a respective wedge 35 to upper apertured discs 30 of the short modular scaffolding posts 21.2.

According to the invention, vertical individual scaffolding posts 21.1 are plugged onto tube connectors 39 of the short modular scaffolding posts 21.2 on the front, first longitudinal side 38.1 of the facade scaffolding 20. These scaffolding posts 21.1 extend in the direction of the post longitudinal axes 40.1 thereof rectilinearly from their lower post end 41.1 to their upper post end 42.1 over an effective post length 43.1. The effective post length 43.1 is approximately 2 metres. At the upper ends 44 thereof these individual scaffolding posts 21.1 each have a tube connector 39 for the plugging-on of a further vertical post 21, in particular scaffolding post 21.1. A stand surface 45 for erection of a next-higher vertical post 21 is formed at the upper post end of each vertical post 21 (cf. FIG. 13). The respective stand surface 45 forms the respective upper post end and upwardly delimits the effective post length 43.1. The tube connector 39 extends upwardly beyond the stand surface 45. Each individual scaffolding post 21.1 consists of a round tube of galvanised steel having an outer circumference and an outer diameter. The post longitudinal axes 40.1 of these individual scaffolding posts 21.1 are arranged parallel to one another. Adjacent individual scaffolding posts 21.1 of these individual scaffolding posts 21.1 are arranged at a scaffolding post longitudinal spacing 46.1 from one another. A single rosette in the form of an apertured disc 30 for detachable securing of at least one horizontal bar 22 for vertical support of at least one scaffolding floor 23 is secured to each of these individual scaffolding posts 21.1 at a first rosette spacing 47.1 from the upper post end 42.1. The first rosette spacing 47.1 is approximately 110 centimetres. The respective rosette 30 has a second rosette spacing 47.2 from the lower post end 41.1 of this scaffolding post 21.1. The second rosette spacing 47.2 is approximately 90 centimetres. Two railing securing devices 50.1, 50.2 for detachable securing of at least one railing device, particularly a single or double railing, preferably an individual railing rod 24; 24.1, 24.2, are permanently secured to each of these individual scaffolding posts 24.1 above their respective rosette 30, and, in particular, at a mutual longitudinal spacing 51 preferably of approximately 50 centimetres. An upper, first railing securing device 50.1 of the railing securing devices 50.1, 50.2 is arranged above the said single apertured disc 30 at a first railing securing device spacing 52.1 from the apertured disc 30. The first railing securing device spacing 52.1 is approximately 100 centimetres. A lower, second railing securing device 50.2 of the railing securing devices 50.1, 50.2 is arranged above the apertured disc 30 at a second railing securing device spacing 52.2 from the apertured disc 30. The second railing securing device spacing 52.2 is approximately 50 centimetres. A respective first railing device in the form of a first railing rod 24.1 of metal is detachably supported at the first railing securing device 50.1. A respective second railing device in the form of a second railing rod 24.2 of metal is detachably supported at the second railing securing device 50.2. These railing securing devices 50.1, 50.2 and these railing rods 24; 24.1, 24.2 are described in more detail further below with reference to FIGS. 4 to 7. The first railing rod 24.1 and the second railing rod 24.2 are, for safeguarding against falling down in the case of the facade scaffolding 20 according to FIG. 1, each detachably fixed to the individual scaffolding posts 21.1 in a horizontal installed setting 53 at an angle of 90 degrees to the post longitudinal axes 40.1 of adjacent individual scaffolding posts 21.1 by means of the associated scaffolding securing devices 50.1, 50.2.

Vertical individual long modular scaffolding posts 21.3 are plugged onto tube connectors 39 of the short modular scaffolding posts 21.2 at the rear, second longitudinal side 38.2 of the facade scaffolding 20. The long modular scaffolding posts 21.3 extend in the direction of the post longitudinal axes 40.3 thereof rectilinearly from their lower post end 41.3 to their upper post end 42.3 over an effective post length, which corresponds with the effective post length 43.1 of the scaffolding posts 21.1 according to the invention, thus here similarly approximately two metres. At their upper ends 44 these individual long modular scaffolding posts 21.3 each have a tube connector 39 for the plugging-on of a further vertical post 21, in particular modular scaffolding post 21.3. Each of these individual long modular scaffolding posts 21.3 consists of a round tube of galvanised steel having an outer circumference and an outer diameter. The outer circumference of the modular scaffolding posts 21.2, 21.3 is preferably the same size as the outer circumference of the scaffolding posts 21.1. In particular, the outer diameter of the modular scaffolding posts 21.2, 21.3 is the same size as the outer diameter of the scaffolding posts 21.1. The post longitudinal axes 40.3 of these individual modular scaffolding posts 21.3 are arranged parallel to one another. Preferably four rosettes each in the form of an apertured disc 30 for detachable securing of at least one horizontal bar 22 for vertical support of at least one scaffolding floor 23 are secured to each of these individual long modular scaffolding bars 21.3 at uniform longitudinal spacings from one another. These longitudinal spacings correspond with the grid dimension of approximately 50 centimetres. As considered from the lower post end 41.3 of each long modular scaffolding post 21.3 the second apertured disc 30 is arranged at the same height as the respective single apertured disc 30 of the individual scaffolding post 21.1 according to the invention. Adjacent individual modular scaffolding posts 21.2, 21.3 of the modular scaffolding posts 21.2, 21.3 are arranged at a mutual modular scaffolding post longitudinal spacing 46.3 which is the same size as the scaffolding post longitudinal spacing 46.2 of the adjacent individual scaffolding posts 21.1.

A respective horizontal transverse bar 22 is detachably and fixedly clamped by its slotted connecting heads 32 by means of a respective wedge 35 to the said second—as considered from below—apertured disc 30 of individual long modular scaffolding posts 21.3 and to a respective single apertured disc 30, which is arranged at the same height, of individual scaffolding posts 21.1. Each of these horizontal bars 22 extends perpendicularly to the post longitudinal axes 40.1, 40.2, 40.3. Each of these horizontal bars 22 extends perpendicularly to the railing rods 24; 24.1, 24.2 or to the railing rod longitudinal axes 29 thereof. At least one scaffolding floor 23 is detachably fixed to adjacent transverse bars 22. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, in each instance two scaffolding floors 23 extending in the direction of the longitudinal axes thereof are detachably fixed to adjacent horizontal transverse bars 22. In this way a further, second level 54.2 with a leading railing in the form of the railing rods 24.1, 24.2 is built up above a lower level 54.1 in FIG. 1.

Each railing securing device 50.1, 50.2 comprises a mount in the form of a rigid bracket 55, which is produced from one piece, and a locking lever 57 articulated thereto to be pivotable about a pivot axis 56. The locking lever 57 is pivotable from an unlocking setting 58 (cf. FIG. 11) downwardly 84 into a locking setting 59 (see FIG. 4) and conversely.

The bracket 55 has a lower bracket rest part 60, an upper bracket securing part 61 and a vertical bracket support part 62. The bracket rest part 60 extends away from the associated individual scaffolding post 21.1 in a first direction 63 transversely, preferably perpendicularly, to the post longitudinal axis 40.1 of this individual scaffolding post 21.1. The bracket rest part 60 has a horizontal rest surface 64 for vertical support of a first railing rod end 27.1 of a railing rod 24; 24.1, 24.2 (see FIGS. 6 and 7). The bracket rest part 60 has a maximum rest part height 82. The bracket 55 is firmly welded by its lower bracket rest part 60 and by its upper bracket securing part 61 to the individual scaffolding post 21.1. The bracket securing part 61 extends away from the individual scaffolding post 21.1 in a second direction 65 transversely, preferably perpendicularly, to the post longitudinal axis 40.1 of this individual scaffolding post 21.1, in particular parallel to the first direction 63. The bracket support part 62 extends in a third direction 66 parallel to the post longitudinal axis 40.1 at a transverse spacing 67 from an outer surface 68, which is opposite the bracket support part 62, of the individual scaffolding post 21.1. The bracket support part 62 has a vertical, in particular extending parallel to the post longitudinal axis 40.1, support surface 69 for lateral support of at least one railing rod end 27.1, 27.2 of at least one railing rod 24; 24.1, 24.2.

The bracket 55 and the outer surface 68 of the individual first scaffolding post 21.1 bound and enclose a passage opening 70 for horizontal insertion, particularly insertion taking place perpendicularly to the post longitudinal axis 40.1, of a railing rod end 27.1, 27.2 and for reception of a railing rod end support part 71.1, 71.2 of this railing rod end 27.1, 27.2 over the whole circumference or substantially the whole circumference.

The bracket 55, which can also be termed suspension bracket, is made from a flat material. The bracket 55 has a bracket height 72 as considered in a height direction parallel to the post longitudinal axis 40.1 of the scaffolding post 21.1, a bracket width 73 as considered in a width direction perpendicular to the post longitudinal axis 40.1 and a bracket wall thickness 74 as considered in a thickness direction perpendicular to the height direction and perpendicular to the width direction. The bracket wall thickness 74 is of the same size over the entire bracket 55. The bracket height 74 is, for example, 100 millimetres. The bracket width 73 is, for example, 31 millimetres. The bracket wall thickness 74 is, for example, 5 millimetres. The bracket 55 as considered in the thickness direction is bounded by parallel side surfaces 75.1, 75.2. The bracket 55 as considered in the width direction is bounded by inner end surfaces 76.1 and by outer end surfaces 76.2, which extend parallel to the thickness direction. The passage opening 70 formed as a vertical receiving slot and as an elongate hole has a rectangular cross-section. The vertical receiving slot 70 has a slot width 77 and a slot height 78. The slot width 77 is, for example, 16 millimetres. The slot height 78 is, for example, 55 millimetres.

The locking lever 57 has a locking surface 79 for mechanically positive locking of a railing device 24 against vertical removal thereof in upward direction. The locking surface 79 of the locking lever 57 in its locking setting 59 is opposite the horizontal support surface 64 of the bracket rest part 60 and in the locking setting 59 is arranged at a vertical spacing 80 above the horizontal support surface 64 of the bracket rest part 60. The pivot axis 56 of the locking lever 57 in its locking setting 59 is arranged at a vertical spacing 81 above the locking surface 79 of the locking lever 57 (cf. FIGS. 13 and 14).

A railing rod 21.1 according to the invention is shown in, in particular, FIGS. 6 and 7. The railing rod 21.1 is produced from a round tube, which is deformed at each of its two tube ends to form a flattened railing rod end 27.1, 27.2. Each flattened railing rod end 27.1, 27.2 has flat side surfaces 28.1, 28.2 which extend parallel to one another and in opposite directions away from one another. The railing rod 24; 24.1, 24.2 has a flattened first railing rod end 28.1 and a flattened second railing rod end 28.2, which extend away from one another in opposite directions parallel to the railing rod longitudinal axis 29. The first railing rod end 28.1 and the second railing rod end 28.2 are formed to be the same. The railing rod 24; 24.1, 24.2 is formed to be substantially mirror symmetrical with respect to a notional longitudinal centre plane 49 of symmetry formed perpendicularly to its railing rod longitudinal axis 29 and perpendicularly to the side surfaces 28.1, 28.2 of its railing rod ends 28.1, 28.2. Since the first and second railing rod ends 28.1, 28.2 of each railing rod 24; 24.1, 24.2 are formed to be the same only one of these railing rod ends is described, by way of the first railing rod end 28.1, in more detail in the following.

The first railing rod end 28.1 has, in the horizontal installed setting 53 of the first railing rod 24.1, at the lower side 36 a first recess 83 which is open towards side surfaces 28.1, 28.2, which extend away from one another, and downwardly 84. The first recess 83 is bounded by recess support surfaces 86.2, 86.3, 97, 99, 102, 104 of a railing rod end support part 71.1 for support on the horizontal support surface 64 of the bracket rest part 60 of the bracket 55 of the scaffolding post 21.1. The first recess 83 as considered in a direction towards the free end 88.1 of the first railing rod end 28.1 is bounded by a concave wall part 90 of a suspension hook 89. This wall part forms a hook base 90 of the suspension hook 89. The hook base 90 is formed concavely to be circularly cylindrical with a radius 91. The radius is preferably 4 millimetres. The radius 91 of the hook base 90 spans a diameter of preferably approximately 8 millimetres. This diameter is slightly larger than the wall thickness 74 of the bracket support part 60 and is smaller than twice the wall thickness 74 of the bracket rest part 60. The suspension hook 89 surrounds a first recess part 92.1 of the first recess 83 by its free hook end 94 extending in rearward direction 93 or in the direction of the other or second railing rod end 27.2. The free hook end 94 of the suspension hook 89 has hook-end support surfaces 86.3, which are respective recess support surfaces of the recess support surfaces, which bound the first recess 83, of the railing rod end support part 71.1 of the first railing rod 24.1. The hook-end support surfaces 86.3 are planar and arranged at angle 96, which is preferably approximately 30 degrees, to the railing rod end longitudinal axis 48 and to the railing rod longitudinal axis 29 of the first railing rod 24.1. The recess support surfaces 86.2 of the hook base 90 go over progressively, thus continuously, in kink-free and step-free manner or tangentially, into the hook-end support surfaces 86.3 of the free hook end 94 of the suspension hook 89. In a direction pointing away from the free hook end 94 the recess support surfaces 86.2 of the hook base 90 go over progressively into a planar first support surface 97, which extends parallel to the railing rod end longitudinal axis 48 and parallel to the railing rod longitudinal axis 29 of the first railing rod 24.1. The first support surface 97 goes over at a first longitudinal spacing 98 from the hook base 90 into a first support surface 99, which is formed perpendicularly thereto, of a first support wall 100. The first longitudinal spacing 98 is preferably approximately 22 millimetres. The first support wall 100 has a first support wall height 101 of preferably 9 millimetres. The first support wall 100 as considered in a direction away from the hook base 90 or from the free hook end 94 as well as parallel to the railing rod end longitudinal axis 48 or to the railing rod longitudinal axis 29 goes over into a second support surface 102 of a second support wall 103, which extends parallel to the railing rod end longitudinal axis 48 or parallel to the railing rod longitudinal axis 29. The second support surface 102 further goes over into a second support surface 104 of a concave wall part 105, which is formed with a radius 106. This radius 106 is preferably approximately 10 millimetres. This wall part 105 at a second longitudinal spacing 107 from the free hook end 94 of the suspension hook 89 in turn goes over into a rear, lower outer end surface 108 of the first railing rod end 27.1, which extends parallel to the railing rod end longitudinal axis 48 or parallel to the railing rod longitudinal axis 29. The second longitudinal spacing 107 is preferably approximately 52 millimetres. The said rear, lower outer end surface 112 is aligned with a lower hook outer end surface 112 bounding the free hook end 94. The hook outer end surface 112 has a first transverse spacing 109, which is preferably approximately 15 millimetres, from the first support surface 97 extending parallel thereto. The free hook end 94 of the suspension hook 89 has a third longitudinal spacing 110 from the free end 88.1 of the first railing rod end 27.1. The third longitudinal spacing 110 is preferably approximately 21 millimetres. The second support surface 102 of the second support wall 103 has, from the rear, lower outer end surface 108, a second transverse spacing 111 which corresponds with a height or depth 113 of a second recess part 92.2 of the first recess 83. This height or depth 113 is preferably approximately 6 millimetres.

The facade scaffolding 20 is shown in FIGS. 10 to 14 in a second mounting or demounting phase, in which two railing rods 24.1, 24.2 are respectively suspended in the region of each of their two railing rod ends 27.1, 27.2 at a respective mount 55 of the associated railing securing device 50.1, 50.2 not only of the scaffolding post 21.1 shown approximately in the centre of the drawing, but also of the further scaffolding post 21.1 shown at the front right, wherein the railing rods 24.1, 24.2 each extend in a vertical oblique setting 130 approximately parallel to one another at an angle 131 to the horizontal 132.

The first recess 83 has in its first recess part 92.1, which is bounded by the hook base 90 and by the first support surface 97 as well as by the first support surface 99, a minimum first recess length, which corresponds with the first length spacing 98, as considered in a direction parallel to the railing rod end longitudinal axis 48 and in a direction parallel to the railing rod longitudinal axis 29. The minimum first recess length 98 is accordingly preferably approximately 22 millimetres. The minimum recess length 98 of the first recess 83 is greater than the height 72 of the bracket rest part 60. The free hook end 94 of the suspension hook 89 has a fourth longitudinal spacing 114 from the first support surface 99 of the first support wall 100. The fourth longitudinal spacing 114 is preferably approximately 14 millimetres. Through the aforesaid measures it can be achieved that the first railing rod 24.1, which is suspended by means of its suspension hook 89 at the bracket rest part 60 of the bracket 55 of the individual first scaffolding post 21.1, in a first mounting or demounting phase can hang freely vertically downwardly at least approximately perpendicularly (see FIGS. 8 and 9).

The fourth longitudinal spacing 114 is larger than the wall thickness 74 of the bracket rest part 60 in the region of the horizontal support surface 64, so that the railing rod 24.1 can mechanically positively detent thereat in its horizontal installed setting 53. The fourth longitudinal spacing 114, which can also be termed support surface spacing, is preferably approximately two to three times the wall thickness 74 of the bracket rest part 60 in the region of the support surface 64 thereof. As a result, compensation can be provided for production and, in particular, erection tolerances so that it is always ensured that the railing rod 24.1 can in every case be reliably and securely suspended in the region of its two railing rod ends 27.1, 27.2 in each instance in a bracket 55 of the scaffolding post 21.1 according to the invention in the horizontal installed or use setting 53.

The first railing rod end 27.1 has a maximum width or maximum height 116 in a transverse direction 115 perpendicular to the first railing rod end longitudinal axis 48 or to the railing rod longitudinal axis 29. This width or height 116 is preferably approximately 50 millimetres. This width or height 116 corresponds with an end surface spacing between the hook outer end surface 112 of the free hook end 94 and a front, upper outer end surface 117, which faces away therefrom in an opposite direction and extends parallel thereto, of the first railing rod end 27.1.

The front, upper outer end surface 117 goes over, in a direction towards the other or second railing rod end 27.2, at a fifth longitudinal spacing 118 from the free end 88.1 of the first railing rod end 27.2 into an upper, second recess 120 of the first railing rod end 27.1. This second recess 120 is open towards the end surfaces 28.1, 28.2, which face away from one another, of the first railing rod 27.1 and upwardly 85. The fifth longitudinal spacing 118 is preferably 27 millimetres. In that case, the front, upper outer end surface 117 initially goes over into a first inclined surface 122. This includes an angle 123 with the first railing rod end longitudinal axis 48 or with the railing rod longitudinal axis 29. This angle 123 is preferably approximately 18 degrees. The first inclined surface 122 in a direction towards the other or second railing rod end 27.2 goes over into a surface 125 which is rounded by a radius 124 and which in turn goes over into a second inclined surface 126. This second inclined surface 126 includes an angle 127 with the first inclined surface 122. This angle 127 is preferably larger than 90 degrees. In particular, the angle 127 is approximately 102 degrees. This second inclined surface 126 in a direction towards the other or second railing rod end 27.2 goes over—convexly rounded—into a rear, upper outer end surface 128 of the first railing rod end 27.1. This is aligned with the front, upper outer end surface 117 of the first railing rod end 27.1. The upper, second recess 120 has a recess depth or height 129 of preferably approximately 14 millimetres.

As shown in, in particular, FIGS. 10 and 13, in a second mounting or demounting phase—in which at least one railing rod 24.1, 24.2 is suspended in the region of its two railing rod ends 27.1, 27.2 respectively at a bracket 55 of the associated railing securing device 50.1, 50.2 in each instance of a scaffolding post 21.1, 21.2—for preference two railing rods 24.1, 24.2 can be respectively suspended in the region of the railing rod ends 27.1, 27.2 thereof at a respective bracket 55 of the associated railing securing device 50.1, 50.2 in each instance of a scaffolding post 21.1, 21.1 of adjacent scaffolding posts 21.1, 21.1. In that case, a first scaffolding post 21.1 is disposed in its installed and use setting in which it is plugged onto the short scaffolding post 21.1 disposed thereunder, whilst an adjacent second scaffolding post 21.1 either in a mounting phase is not yet plugged onto the associated short scaffolding post 21.2 or in a demounting phase has already been detached from the associated short scaffolding post 21.2 and subsequently placed by its lower post end 41.1 on a scaffolding floor 23 of the lower level 54.1. In this second mounting or demounting phase the at least one railing rod 24.1, 24.2 or the two railing rods 24.1, 24.2 are arranged in a vertical oblique setting 130 at an angle 131 to the horizontal 132. The suspension situation, which presents itself, in this oblique setting 130 is illustrated in FIG. 11 in the region of a bracket 55 of the first scaffolding post 21.1. It can be readily seen there how in this oblique setting 130 a part of the first railing rod end 24.1, which includes the suspension hook 89, of the depicted railing rod 24.1 extends through the passage opening 70, which is formed as a vertical receiving slot, of the mount 55 and the bracket rest part 60 of the bracket 55 is received at least partly in the first recess 83 of the first railing rod end 27.1, whilst the free hook end 94 of the suspension hook 89 engages behind the bracket rest part 60 of the bracket 55. In the illustrated angular setting of the railing rod 24.1 the hook-end support surfaces 86.3 of the free hook end 94 of the suspension hook 89 extend approximately parallel to the side surface 75.1, which is shown on the right in FIG. 11, of the bracket rest part 60 of the bracket 55.

As apparent from FIGS. 12 and 13, the railing rod longitudinal axis 29 of each railing rod 24, 24.2, 24.2 includes an angle 131 with the notional horizontal 132 formed perpendicularly to the post longitudinal axes 40.1. This angle 131 is here approximately 20 degrees. In this mounting or demounting intermediate setting the upper, second recess 120 of the second railing rod end 27.2 of the respective railing rod 24; 24.1, 24.2 ensures that even when the locking lever 57 is in its locking setting 59 the associated railing securing device 50.1, 50.2 does not give rise to collision of the said second railing rod end 27.2 with the bracket 55 or with the locking surface 79 of the closed locking lever 57 (see FIG. 13).
