Individual Sports Instinct Training Device

Abstract

The Individual Instinct developer is a uniquely designed integrated remote controlled, electronic LED light based System that consists of two major groups #1 remote unit and #2 light device with control box and a power supply. The Light device is to be secured to a harness or band that is be worn either on the body of individuals, or as an attachment to the individuals protective equipment or field equipment, which is to be used in individual/team drills and training to assist the development of an Individuals instinct. To achieve this, the System operator will input a color scheme into his remote unit which will be linked to the Light devices worn by other Individuals or attached to the field equipment. The system operator will than inform the individuals of the colors that are to be illuminated on the light device and the reaction required to each individual color as he cycles thru the color scheme on his remote unit.

Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

This invention relates to electronics, to be more specific this invention relates to a remote control RGB LED light system.

BACKGROUND

The Individual Instinct developer system can be used as an application in several different areas, for American football the Light device will be attached to the helmet of the Receivers, Running backs and the Quarterback likewise. The Quarterback will receive a series of colors and the action that is associated with the colors from the remote unit operator or Coach. Before the exercise begins the systems lights will be illuminated on the helmets of all players except the, whom is being evaluated Quarterback, at the pre-snap the Quarterback will identify the illuminated color and give the command to start the drill at the post-snap the Quarterback must identify the illuminated color of the lights on the helmets worn by the Receiver(s) and or Runningback(s) and execute an action: throw, no throw or hold based on the color being displayed. The remote unit operator or Coach will randomly change the displayed colors to ensure the Quarterback is scanning the area. Individual and team drills can be conducted in the same manor for Basketball, Handball and Soccer. The Light device will be attached to a harness and worn on the body of the individual and also attached to the Backboard or Goal, the Training device operator or Coach will preselect colors an assign each color an action that is to be taken. The illuminated colors on the individual harness will allow him or her to dribble, pass or shoot. The illuminated light system mounted on the backboard or Goal will represent if the shot can be taken or not based on the color displayed.

The individual with the ball can only pass to a player whose illuminated color will allow him or her to receive the pass. The illuminated light system mounted on the backboard or Goal will represent if the shot can be taken or not based on the color displayed.

The illuminated colors on the individual harness will allow him or her to dribble, pass or shoot. The individual with the ball can only pass to a player whose illuminated color will allow him or her to receive the pass. The illuminated light system mounted on the Goal will represent if the shot can be taken or not based on the color displayed.

Claims

1. The individual instinct Developer and Training Device is an electronic device constructed of RGB LED strips, Wifi Controller and a 12 or 24 V DC power supply affixed to a Velcro harness or Vest, this wireless system is to be mounted on the Football helmets of teammates and opposition players in American Football and to the body, arms of players and the Backboard and Goals in Basketball, Soccer and Handball.

2. The Individual instinct Developer and Training Device is controlled by #1 Android Mobile Phone, Standard Computer, IPad or LED RF Remote The operator of the Team and individual Sports instinct Developer and Training Device has the option of designating few or many colors which require a reaction from the individual as defined by the Coach or Remote operator.

3. The Individual instinct Developer and Training Device Remote operator or Coach will input data into the remote unit using zones to represents players or training Hardware.

4. The Individual instinct Developer and Training Device Remote operator or Coach has the option of selecting other colors on the remote unit as the situation develops; the individual has to determine the next step in the progression.
