Claims
- 1. An electronic siren system having an audio section projecting a square form sound wave at continual maximum audio output, electronic means including a voltage controlled sweep oscillator generating said sound wave of square form and of rising and falling frequency on a major cycle different from that of predominant ambient sound, electronic means including a timing oscillator for generating an adjustable major cyclic voltage, a first variable rate oscillator to pulse said major cyclic voltage and generate minor cycles to produce variable frequencies in said sound wave, and a second variable rate oscillator further to pulse said major cyclic voltage and provide further variations in said sound wave.
- 2. An electronic siren system as set forth in claim 1 wherein said variable rate oscillators operate in said system in parallel relationship.
- 3. An electronic siren system as set forth in claim 1 wherein said variable rate oscillators operate in said system in series relationship.
- 4. An electronic siren system as set forth in claim 2 wherein said timing oscillator has a connection to said sweep oscillator.
- 5. An electronic siren system as set forth in claim 4 wherein a shaping network and a modulator are disposed in said connection to the sweep oscillator.
- 6. An electronic siren system as set forth in claim 3 wherein said timing oscillator and said first variable rate oscillator each have a connection to said sweep oscillator.
- 7. An electronic siren system as set forth in claim 6 wherein each said connection includes a shaping network, and a modulator receiving said connections and connected to said sweep oscillator.
- 8. An electronic siren system as set forth in claim 7 wherein said second variable rate oscillator is connected through a shaping network to said modulator.
- 9. An electronic siren system having an audio section projecting a square form sound wave at continual maximum audio output, electronic means including a voltage controlled sweep oscillator generating said sound wave of square form and of rising and falling frequency on a major cycle different from that of predominant ambient sound, a fixed or adjustable fixed rate oscillator to pulse said major cycle and generate minor cycles to produce a variant frequency in said sound wave, and a timing oscillator for generating an adjustable major cyclic voltage.
- 10. An electronic siren system as set forth in claim 9 wherein a modulator is disposed in circuit with said sweep oscillator and said timing oscillator and said fixed or adjustably fixed rate oscillator are disposed respectively in circuit with said modulator.
- 11. An electronic siren system having an audio section projecting a square form sound wave at continual maximum audio output, electronic means including a voltage controlled sweep oscillator generating said sound wave of square form and of rising and falling frequency on a major cycle different from that of predominant ambient sound, electronic means including a timing oscillator for generating an adjustable major cyclic voltage, a variable rate oscillator to pulse said major cyclic voltage and generate a minor cycle to produce a variable frequency in said sound wave, said timing oscillator having a shaping network in circuit with said variable rate oscillator and said sweep oscillator, and said variable rate oscillator having a shaping network in circuit with said sweep oscillator.
