Claims
- 1. A container for nursing infants comprising:
a. a container having an interior and a first end with an opening into said interior; b. a flexible nipple attached across said opening and positioned such that at least a portion of said nipple extends into said interior of said container; and c. a container lid positioned over said flexible nipple and enclosing said interior of said container.
- 2. The container according to claim 1, wherein said container opening has a rim and said flexible nipple has an attachment perimeter which extends over said rim and said lid crimps said attachment perimeter to said rim.
- 3. The container according to claim 1, wherein said nipple has a head section, a neck section, and a shoulder section and said head section has a nursing aperture with a removable plug positioned therein.
- 4. The container according to claim 3, wherein said removable plug is formed on a fault point in said head section and a pull tab is attached to said removable plug.
- 5. The container according to claim 3, wherein said nipple further has an air aperture with a removable plug positioned therein.
- 6. The container according to claim 5, wherein said air aperture is formed in said shoulder section and removable plug is formed on a fault point in said shoulder section and a pull tab is attached to said removable plug.
- 7. The container according to claim 2, wherein said lip is a peel-back opening type.
- 8. The container according to claim 2, wherein a polymer protector ring is positioned over said rim.
- 9. The container according to claim 1, wherein said container has a second end with internal walls extending upwards into toward said first end, thereby forming an internal cavity in said container.
- 10. The container according to claim 9, wherein said internal cavity contains a thermic module.
- 11. The container according to claim 10, wherein said thermic module includes a separate cup with a base and two compartments formed within said cup.
- 12. The container according to claim 10, wherein said thermic module heats the contents of said can to between approximately 21° C. and 55° C.
- 13. The container according to claim 1, wherein said flexible nipple includes a thinned sidewall section to aid in inverting said nipple.
- 14. A method of manufacturing a container with an enclosed nipple attachment, comprising the steps of:
a. providing a container having an interior and an open top end; b. connecting a nipple attachment to said container to seal off said interior; c. at least partially folding said nipple attachment such that it is positioned below said top end; and d. sealingly enclosing said nipple attachment in said container with a lid.
- 15. The method according to claim 14, wherein said lid is a quick-opening lid.
- 16. The method according to claim 14, wherein said container is sterilized after sealing said can.
- 17. The method according to claim 14, wherein a cavity is formed in said container and a thermic module formed therein.
- 18. The method according to claim 14, wherein said lid is crimped onto a rim of said container.
- 19. The container according to claim 1, further including an insulating sleeve comprising cotton or wool.
- 20. The container according to claim 1, wherein said container is constructed of the metal or plastic.
