Claims
- 1-15. (canceled)
- 16. An aqueous ink jet ink comprising an aqueous medium, a pigment as a colorant, and a polymer binder, wherein:
said ink has a viscosity in the range of about 10 to about 30 cP at 25° C., said polymer binder comprises one or more dispersed polymers, the binder to pigment weight ratio is greater than about 2, and the total of binder plus pigment is at least about 15% by weight of the ink.
- 17. (canceled)
- 18. The aqueous ink jet ink of claim 16, wherein the aqueous medium is an aqueous vehicle comprising water and a water-soluble organic solvent.
- 19. The aqueous ink jet ink of claim 18, wherein the aqueous vehicle comprises about 30% to about 95% water, based on the total weight of the aqueous vehicle.
- 20. The aqueous ink jet ink of claim 16, wherein the pigment has a particle size of from about 0.005 micron to about 15 microns.
- 21. The aqueous ink jet of claim 16, wherein the polymer binder is a structured polymer.
- 22. The aqueous ink jet ink of claim 16, having a surface tension in the range of about 20 dyne/cm to about 70 dyne/cm at 25° C.
