DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Reference is made herein to the attached drawings. Like reference numerals are used throughout the drawings to depict like or similar elements of the inseam access garment. For the purposes of presenting a brief and clear description of the present invention, a preferred embodiment will be discussed as used for the inseam access garment. The figures are intended for representative purposes only and should not be considered to be limiting in any respect.

Referring now to FIG. 1, there is shown a perspective view of an embodiment of the inseam access pants in an open configuration. The inseam access pants include a waist 101. The waist 101 has an opening that will allow a user to position themselves in the pants. In one embodiment the waist is elastic. In another embodiment the waist is of a fixed size. Waist 101 is connected to a pelvic area 102. The pelvic area 102 is split into and leads into two legs 103. The pants may be proportioned to fit all different sized individuals.

In one embodiment the pants are made of an elastic material. This will allow the pants to stretch and provide additional comfort to the wearer. In another embodiment the pants are made from denim. This will ensure that the pants are durable. In yet another embodiment the pants are made from a canvas material. This will allow the pants to have a waterproofing aspect. In other embodiments different materials are used for aesthetic reasons.

The lower side 102a of the pelvic area 102 and the legs 103 come together forming an inseam 104. The inseam 104 is accessible via an opening 105. The opening 105 is located such that when open an individual will have access to there pubic region. This will allow a user to defecate without having to remove the pants. The opening may be of different lengths and sizes. In one embodiment the opening runs from the middle of the inseam 104 to 22 inches down each leg.

In the shown embodiment the opening 105 is closed using a zipper 106. In this embodiment there is a single zipper 106. Other embodiments will be described throughout to allow for closing and opening of opening 105 of the inseam 104.

Referring now to FIG. 2, there is shown a perspective view of an embodiment of the inseam access pants in a closed configuration. In this embodiment the inseam 104 is held closed by another zipper 106. In this embodiment there are two zippers 106 used. There is a zipper 106 that runs down each pant leg 103. The zippers 106 meet in the middle of the inseam 104 in the lower pelvic area 102a. while the zippers appear larger in the FIGs. various sized zippers may be used. In one embodiment the zippers 106 are skirt or dress zippers. These will allow for the zippers 106 to be hidden from view when the inseam 104 is closed.

By allowing the zippers 106 to meet in the middle of the lower pelvic area 102a the zippers 106 will be even more hidden from view. This is due to the fact that the zipper tabs 106a will be hidden by the pants. In other embodiments the zipper tabs 106a includes pull loops 107. The pull loops will better enable users to grasp the zipper tabs 106a to open or close the pants.

Referring now to FIG. 3, there is shown a perspective view of an alternative embodiment of inseam access shorts in an open configuration. In the shown embodiment of the inseam access garment shorts are shown. In this embodiment the shorts have a waist 301. In one embodiment the waist 301 is elastic. In another embodiment the waist 301 is fixed. The shorts further have a pelvic region 302. The shorts have a pair of legs 303. The legs 303 and the pelvic region 302 create and inseam 304. The inseam is operable by a fastener 305. In the shown embodiment the fastener 305 is a zipper. In other embodiments different fasteners are used as described for the pants.

In one embodiment the inseam 304 of the shorts is completely separable. This means that the front portion of the inseam 304a and the back portion of the inseam 304b will be able to be separated when the inseam 304 is opened. This will allow for easier access to the pubic region. Further, by allowing the shorts to open entirely it reduces the risk of tearing a small amount of material that would be left attached.

Referring now to FIG. 4, there is shown a perspective view of an embodiment of the inseam access for the inseam access garment. In various embodiments the interior of the inseam 104, 304 has a flap 401 adjacent thereto. The flap will prevent the fastener 106, 305 from rubbing against a wearer's skin. In some embodiments the flap 401 is also used as an added closure layer. The flap 401 will help to prevent airflow into the interior of the garment. In one embodiment the flap 401 runs the entire length of the inseam 104, 304. In other embodiments the flap 401 runs a partial length of the inseam 104, 304.

Referring now to FIGS. 5A and 5B, there is shown perspective views of embodiments of the inseam access for the inseam access garment. In different embodiments different fasteners are used to close the inseam. In one embodiment the fastener is a plurality of clasps 501. The clasps 501 will hold the inseam closed. In some embodiments the clasps 501 will add an aesthetic aspect to the garment. In some embodiments the clasps 501 are used in correlation with a zipper. This will add extra closure securement to the inseam.

In another embodiment the fastener is a plurality of buttons 502. The buttons 502 will hold the inseam closed. In some embodiments the buttons 502 will add an aesthetic aspect to the garment. In some embodiments the buttons 502 are used in correlation with a zipper. This will add extra closure securement to the inseam.

In yet a further embodiment the fasteners a hook and loop fastener. In this embodiment there is a hook fastener on one side of the inseam and a loop fastener on the other. This will allow the inseam to be held closed via the hook and loop fastener. In one embodiment there is a single strip of each hook and loop along the inseam. In another embodiment there are separated sections of each corresponding to each other along the inseam.

It is therefore submitted that the instant invention has been shown and described in what is considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiments. It is recognized, however that departures may be made within the scope of the invention and that obvious modifications will occur to a person skilled in the art. With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of the invention, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by the present invention.

Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the invention. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the invention to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the invention.
