Claims
- 1. A method of attracting Musca domestica L. (Diptera:Muscidae) to a three-dimensional space inhabitable by said Musca domestica L. (Diptera:Muscidae) comprising the step of exposing said three-dimensional space to a Musca domestica L. (Diptera:Muscidae)-attracting concentration and quantity of jasmine absolute.
- 2. The method of claim 1 wherein the jasmine absolute is contained in a polymer matrix.
- 3. The method of claim 2 wherein the biodegradable polymer is a polyepsilon caprolactone polymer or a polyurethane polymer.
- 4. A method of attracting Musca domestica L. (Diptera:Muscidae) to an insect trap comprising the step of exposing the environment surrounding said trap to an insect attractant containing polymer which consists of a mixture of a polymer and from about 1% up to about 45% by weight of said polymer of jasmine absolute.
