Abstract
Inspection and maintenance drawer for the exhaust of fumes of the flue of a bio-mass powered thermal boiler, characterised by the fact that it has a closing and grasping element situated in the front part of the thermal boiler, and of an extended element which presents a compartment at its extremity, situated at the base of the flue of the thermal boiler.
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention regards the creation of an inspection and maintenance drawer of the exhaust of fumes from the flue of a bio-mass thermal boiler.

1. State of the Art

The efficiency of bio-mass thermal boilers depends, over time, other than on the precision of its design, but on the maintenance and cleaning of the elements of heat exchange and the disposal of the products of combustion. During the combustion of the bio-masses, ashes, creosote and dust are produced. The smoke from the combustion attracts a part of these products and, therefore, it is necessary to avoid these last may pollute the flue and the thermal boiler, thus lowering the efficiency of the thermal boiler itself.

To avoid ashes, creosote and dust, attracted by the smoke from combustion, polluting the bio-mass thermal boiler in undesired points, systems for collecting the residues of smoke have been created, supplying the flue at the base with a “T”, furnished with a cup which collects ashes, creosote and dust.

Patent application US-A-2004163638 describes a thermal boiler to which a “T” has been placed at the base, furnished with a cup to collect ashes, creosote and dust.

Said solution presents a series of inconveniences.

The cup is situated in the posterior part of the thermal boiler, which is generally difficult to access for non-specialised personnel. The user is therefore obliged to call for the intervention of the maintenance service to carry out the cleaning.

2. Description of the Invention

The present invention proposes to overcome the difficulties and disadvantages present in the solutions on sale at present.

The main aim of the present invention is the creation of an inspection and maintenance drawer for the exhaust of fumes from the flue of a bio-mass powered thermal boiler, characterised by the fact that it has an element for closing and grasping situated in the front part of the boiler and an extended element that presents at its extremity a compartment situated at the base of the flue of the thermal boiler.

Another characteristic is given by the fact that at the base of the flue an element in the shape of a “T” is created, into which the compartment is inserted.

Another characteristic is given by the fact that the compartment is in the shape of a drawer.

Other characteristics and advantages of the present invention will appear clear from the attached description of a method of creating the present invention, given as a non-limiting example in the FIGS. 1, 2 and 3.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

FIG. 1 represents an axonometric view of a thermal boiler in which an inspection and maintenance drawer for the exhaust of fumes from the flue of a bio-mass powered thermal boiler, object of the present invention, is situated;

FIG. 2 represents a section of a thermal boiler in which an inspection and maintenance drawer for the exhaust of fumes from the flue of a bio-mass powered thermal boiler, object of the present invention, is situated;

FIG. 3 represents a view of the inspection and maintenance drawer for the exhaust of fumes from the flue of a biomass powered thermal boiler, object of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF A WAY OF CREATING THE PRESENT INVENTION

With reference to FIG. 1, which is an axonometric view of a biomass powered thermal boiler 1 the door 2, situated in the front part, is visible. In the front part, as can be seen in FIG. 2, the drawer 10 is situated behind the door 2.

The drawer 10 is composed of a closing and grasping element 11, to which an extended element 12 is attached, and which terminates with a compartment 13 in the shape of a drawer, which is placed at the base of the flue 14. The compartment 13 also presents a bar 15, which seals the flue 14 perfectly. The flue 14 is connected to the thermal boiler with a “T” element.

In this way, the ashes, the creosote and dust which are produced by the smoke from combustion, are collected in the compartment in the shape of a drawer 13. Therefore, to keep the flue clean it is simply necessary to open the door 2 of the thermal boiler 1, pull out frontally the drawer 10 by grasping the closing and gripping element 11, empty the refuse contents eventually contained in the compartment 13 in the shape of a drawer, and replace the drawer 10.

The shape of the compartment 13 may also be cylindrical to better adhere to the cylindrical shape of the flue.

To always keep the flue 14 clean it is sufficient to periodically repeat the cleaning and maintenance operation described above, without the need for complicated operations that necessitate complex dismantling and reassembling.

In this way, the flue of the thermal boiler is kept clean and thus the efficiency of the thermal boiler is always maintained at a high level.

The discovery, it should be noted, is not limited to the representations given in the figures, but may be perfected and modified by those skilled in the art without, however, exceeding the limits of patent.

The discovery permits numerous advantages, and to overcome difficulties that could not otherwise have been overcome with the systems on sale at present.
