Claims
- 1. An intake pipe for an internal combustion engine, comprising:
- a dimensionally stable intake pipe body having a passthrough opening located therein;
- a positioning device arranged in the passthrough opening for changing the available flow cross section of the passthrough opening, said positioning device having a non-return valve openable only in the direction toward an internal combustion engine, the non-return valve comprising a sealing element and a sealing seat which can move relative to one another and which can be selectively brought into engagement with one another to close off the passthrough opening; and
- an actuating device for actuating the sealing element, the actuating device comprising a reciprocating element that is capable of axial reciprocal movement with respect to the sealing seat, said reciprocating element being guidingly surrounded by a web, and wherein the reciprocating element and sealing element are associated with one another by means of a spring element in a lossproof and resilient manner.
- 2. An intake pipe as set forth in claim 1, wherein the reciprocating element is connected to the positioning device.
- 3. An intake pipe as set forth in claim 2, wherein the positioning device is a servomotor.
- 4. An intake pipe as set forth in claim 2, wherein the actuation device is an electromagnet comprising:
- a coil joined in relatively immovable fashion to the web; and
- an armature rigidly joined to the sealing element.
- 5. An intake pipe as set forth in claim 4, wherein the armature and sealing element are associated in a lossproof manner with one another by means of a spring element which is resilient in the axial direction.
- 6. An intake pipe as set forth in claim 4, wherein the electromagnet is connected to a control unit in a signal-carrying manner.
- 7. An intake pipe for an internal combustion engine, comprising:
- a dimensionally stable intake pipe body having a passthrough opening located therein;
- a positioning device arranged in the passthrough opening for changing the available flow cross section of the passthrough opening, said positioning device having a non-return valve openable only in the direction toward an internal combustion engine, the non-return valve comprising a sealing element and a sealing seat which can move relative to one another and which can be selectively brought into engagement with one another to close off the passthrough opening; and
- an actuating device for actuating the sealing element, the actuating device comprising a gas spring, the gas spring comprising:
- an enclosed gas space having a side that faces the sealing seat and to which an enclosed gas space pressure can be applied, said gas space being delimited on the side facing the sealing seat by the sealing element, which is joined in a gas-tight manner to adjacent delimiting walls by a membrane configured like a corrugated diaphragm, the delimiting walls and the web being configured integrally and continuously with one another.
- 8. An intake pipe as set forth in claim 7, wherein the web is provided with a bore configured to provide a pressure connection.
- 9. An intake pipe for use with an internal combustion engine, the intake pipe comprising:
- a pipe body having first and second ends and a passthrough opening located in the pipe body;
- a valve openable only towards one of the ends of the pipe body, said valve comprising a sealing element and a sealing seat which can move relative to one another and which can be selectively brought into engagement with one another to close off the passthrough opening;
- a web extending from the inner wall of the intake pipe radially towards its center; and
- means for controlling the movement of the sealing element with respect to the sealing seat.
- 10. An intake pipe as set forth in claim 9, wherein the means for controlling the movement of the sealing element comprises
- a spring connecting the sealing element to the web.
- 11. An intake pipe as set forth in claim 9, wherein the means for controlling the movement of the sealing element comprises
- an axially reciprocal element located within the web; and
- a electromagnet for selectively moving the axially reciprocal element.
- 12. An intake pipe as set forth in claim 9, wherein the means for controlling the movement of the sealing element comprises
- a web extending from the inner wall of the intake pipe radially towards its center;
- a spring connected at one end to the sealing element; and
- a linkage for transferring an externally applied level of force to the sealing element via the spring.
- 13. An intake pipe for an internal combustion engine, comprising:
- a dimensionally stable intake pipe body having a passthrough opening located therein;
- a positioning device arranged in the passthrough opening for changing the available flow cross section of the passthrough opening, said positioning device having a non-return valve openable only in the direction toward an internal combustion engine, the non-return valve comprising a sealing element and a sealing seat which can move relative to one another and which can be selectively brought into engagement with one another to close off the passthrough opening; and
- an actuating device for actuating the sealing element, the actuating device comprising a reciprocating element that is capable of axial reciprocal movement with respect to the sealing seat.
