Claims
- 1. Integrally formed stamped sheet-metal blades having a 3D structure, comprising:an outer diffuser formed as a hollow dish having a plurality of 3D outer vanes extending radially outward, each outer vane including from inward to outward an outer vane root and an outer vane body which bends at an angle against the outer vane root, the outer vane roots forming a center opening, the outer vane body having an outer vane leading edge and an outer vane trailing edge; and an inner diffuser formed as a hollow dish having a plurality of 3D inner vanes extending radially outward, each inner vane including from inward to outward an inner vane root and an inner vane body which bends at an angle against the inner vane root, the inner vane roots forming a center hub opening, the inner vane having an inner vane leading edge and an inner vane trailing edge, wherein the inner vane root of the inner diffuser engages with the outer vane root of the outer diffuser for the outer diffuser and inner diffuser to form an integral sheet-metal blade assembly when the center hub opening is mated against the center opening.
- 2. The integrally formed stamped sheet-metal blades of claim 1, wherein the outer vane trailing edge mates and engages with the inner vane leading edge when forming the assembly.
- 3. The integrally formed stamped sheet-metal blades of claim 1, wherein the outer vane trailing edge is spaced from the inner vane leading edge to form a multi-row blade assembly.
- 4. The integrally formed stamped sheet-metal blades of claim 1, wherein number of the inner vanes is the same as that of the outer vanes.
- 5. The integrally formed stamped sheet-metal blades of claim 1 further having a diffuser rear cover for engaging with the outer vane diffuser and holding the inner vane diffuser between the diffuser rear cover and the outer vane diffuser.
- 6. The integrally formed stamped sheet-metal blades of claim 5, wherein the inner vane further has an inner vane shroud extending at an angle from the inner vane body and mating with the diffuser rear cover to facilitate positioning of the inner diffuser on the diffuser rear cover.
- 7. The integrally formed stamped sheet-metal blades of claim 5, wherein the outer vane further has an outer vane shroud mating with the diffuser rear cover to facilitate positioning of the outer diffuser on the diffuser rear cover.
- 8. The integrally formed stamped sheet-metal blades of claim 1, wherein outer vane diffuser and inner vane diffuser are engaged by welding, and the outer vane diffuser and a diffuser rear cover are engaged by welding.
- 9. The integrally formed stamped sheet-metal blades of claim 8, wherein the welding is spot welding.
