Claims
- 1. A pallet for supporting an article on a moving conveyor,
- a base member for resting upon the conveyor;
- a upper plate member spaced vertically from said base member; .
- at least one support member extending between said base member and said upper plate member;
- an end plate member extending upwardly from each end of said upper plate member;
- fixture means extending between said end plate members for supporting the article and adapted for rotation; and
- locking means for releasably securing said fixture means against rotation relative to said end plate member
- 2. The pallet as set forth in claim 1 including platform means forming a predetermined shape to support the article upon said fixture means.
- 3. The pallet as set forth in claim 2 wherein said locking means comprises a locking member operatively connected to said fixture means and a lever arm pivotally supported by one of said end plate members to engage and disengage said locking member.
- 4. The pallet as set forth in claim 3 wherein said locking member includes at least one locking slot.
- 5. The pallet as set forth in claim 4 including a finger at one end of said lever arm for engaging and disengaging said at least one locking slot when said lever arm is in a locking member engaged position and said locking member disengaged position.
- 6. The pallet as set forth in claim 5 including pivotal means for allowing said lever arm to pivot between said locking member engaged position and said locking member disengaged position
- 7. The pallet as set forth in claim 6 including spring means for urging said lever arm to said locking member engaged position.
- 8. The pallet as set forth in claim 7 including actuating member supported by one of said end plate members and rotatable to rotate said fixture means.
- 9. The pallet as set forth in claim 8 including a spring member for urging said actuating member away from said fixture means.
- 10. A pallet for supporting an article on a moving conveyor, comprising:
- a base member for resting upon the conveyor;
- a upper plate member spaced vertically from said base member;
- at least one support member extending between said base member and said upper plate member;
- an end plate member extending upwardly from each end of said upper plate member;
- fixture means extending between said end plate members for supporting the article and adapted for rotation;
- platform means forming a predetermined shape to support the article upon said fixture means;
- a locking member operatively connected to said fixture means and a lever arm pivotally supported by one of said end plate members to engage and disengage said locking member for releasably securing said fixture means rotation relative to said end plate member.
- said locking member includes at least one locking slot.,
- a finger at one end of said lever arm for engaging and disengaging said at least one locking slot in a locking member engaged position and a locking member disengaged position;
- pivotal means for allowing said lever arm to pivot between said locking member engaged position and said locking member disengaged position; and
- spring means for urging said lever arm to said locking member engaged position.
