Abstract
An integrated ceiling fan and a ceiling fan connecting device are provided. The integrated ceiling fan includes the ceiling fan connecting device, a ceiling device, and a ceiling fan device. The ceiling fan connecting device includes a connecting housing and a connecting seat, and the connecting housing has a top surface, a surrounding side surface that surrounds and is connected to an edge of the top surface, and a plurality of mounting slots that are recessed from the top surface. The ceiling device includes a ceiling housing and a plurality of first fixing members that are locked to the ceiling housing and the top surface of the connecting housing. The ceiling fan device includes a motor housing, a plurality of second fixing members that are respectively located in the mounting slots and are locked to the motor housing, and a ceiling fan main body.
Description
FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE

The present disclosure relates to a ceiling fan and a connecting device, and more particularly to an integrated ceiling fan and a ceiling fan connecting device.


BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE

Conventionally, noticeable intervals are present among multiple housings included in a downrod ceiling fan or a hugger fan after a mounting process is completed. As a result, an overall appearance of the ceiling fan can be unsatisfactory. Furthermore, when the downrod ceiling fan or the hugger fan is being mounted, numerous components need to be installed at correct positions by the operator. Not only does this process take a large amount of time, but issues arising from incorrect installation are also likely to occur. Therefore, how to overcome the above-mentioned deficiencies through an improvement in the structural design has become one of the important issues to be solved in the industry.


SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE

In response to the above-referenced technical inadequacies, the present disclosure provides an integrated ceiling fan and a ceiling fan connecting device.


In one aspect, the present disclosure provides an integrated ceiling fan, and the integrated ceiling fan includes a ceiling fan connecting device, a ceiling device, and a ceiling fan device. The ceiling fan connecting device includes a connecting housing and a connecting seat that is disposed in the connecting housing. The connecting housing has a top surface, a surrounding side surface that surrounds and is connected to an edge of the top surface, and a plurality of mounting slots that are recessed from the top surface. The ceiling device includes a ceiling housing and a plurality of first fixing members that are locked to the ceiling housing and the top surface of the connecting housing. The ceiling fan device includes a motor housing, a plurality of second fixing members, and a ceiling fan main body. The second fixing members are respectively located in the mounting slots and are locked to the motor housing, and the ceiling fan main body is partly disposed in the connecting seat and the ceiling housing.


In another aspect, the present disclosure provides a ceiling fan connecting device, and the ceiling fan connecting device includes a connecting housing and a connecting seat. The connecting housing has top surface, a surrounding side surface that surrounds and is connected to an edge of the top surface, and a plurality of mounting slots that are recessed from the top surface. The connecting seat is disposed in the connecting housing and partly penetrates through the top surface.


Therefore, in the integrated ceiling fan and the ceiling fan connecting device provided by the present disclosure, by virtue of: the ceiling fan connecting device including a connecting housing and a connecting seat that is disposed in the connecting housing, the connecting housing having a top surface, a surrounding side surface that surrounds and is connected to an edge of the top surface, and a plurality of mounting slots that are recessed from the top surface, and the second fixing members being respectively located in the mounting slots and being locked to the motor housing, no longer are any noticeable intervals present between the connecting housing, the ceiling housing, and the motor housing. In addition, a quantity of components in the integrated ceiling fan is reduced, so that installation thereof can be more conveniently performed by a user.


These and other aspects of the present disclosure will become apparent from the following description of the embodiment taken in conjunction with the following drawings and their captions, although variations and modifications therein may be affected without departing from the spirit and scope of the novel concepts of the disclosure.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS

The present disclosure is more particularly described in the following examples that are intended as illustrative only since numerous modifications and variations therein will be apparent to those skilled in the art. Like numbers in the drawings indicate like components throughout the views. As used in the description herein and throughout the claims that follow, unless the context clearly dictates otherwise, the meaning of “a”, “an”, and “the” includes plural reference, and the meaning of “in” includes “in” and “on”. Titles or subtitles can be used herein for the convenience of a reader, which shall have no influence on the scope of the present disclosure.

Referring to FIG. 1 to FIG. 7, an embodiment of the present disclosure provides an integrated ceiling fan 100, which includes a ceiling fan connecting device 1, a ceiling device 2 that is mounted onto the ceiling fan connecting device 1, and a ceiling fan device 3. In addition, the ceiling fan connecting device 1 is located between the ceiling device 2 and the ceiling fan device 3.


It should be noted that in the present embodiment, the ceiling fan connecting device 1 is described together with the ceiling device 2 and the ceiling fan device 3, but in other embodiments of the present disclosure, the ceiling fan connecting device 1 can also be independently used (e.g., sold) or used in cooperation with other components.


As shown in FIG. 2 to FIG. 5, the ceiling fan connecting device 1 includes a connecting housing 11, a connecting seat 12 that is disposed in the connecting housing 11, and a gasket 13 that is mounted onto the connecting seat 12. The connecting housing 11 has a top surface 111, a surrounding side surface 112 that surrounds and is connected to an edge of the top surface 111, and a plurality of mounting slots 113 that are recessed from the top surface 111. The connecting seat 12 includes a base 121 and an accommodating tube 122 that is connected to the base 121.


In addition, materials of the connecting housing 11 and the connecting seat 12 can be adjusted according to practical requirements, and the present disclosure is not limited thereto. However, in the present embodiment, the connecting housing 11 is preferably made of aluminum. Furthermore, in other embodiments not shown in the present disclosure, the ceiling fan connecting device 1 can also be provided without the gasket 13.


More specifically, as shown in FIG. 2 to FIG. 5, a profile of the connecting housing 11 is substantially trapezoidal in shape. A quantity of the mounting slots 113 is preferably three in the present embodiment, and a distance between any two adjacent ones of the mounting slots 113 is the same. In addition, from a top view of the top surface 111, the three mounting slots 113 can be defined as three vertices of an equilateral triangle.


Furthermore, the connecting seat 12 is located in the connecting housing 11 and partly penetrates through the top surface 111. The shape of the base 121 of the connecting seat 12 is similar to that of a flange seat, and the shape of the accommodating tube 122 is similar to that of a flange tube.


In addition, the connecting seat 12 is located between the three mounting slots 113, and the connecting seat 12 is located at a central position inside the connecting housing 11. The connecting seat 12 can be used to allow a hanging pipe to pass through, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, in other embodiments not shown in the present disclosure, a position of the connecting seat 12 can be adjusted according to practical requirements.


As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, the ceiling device 2 includes a ceiling housing 21 and a plurality of first fixing members 22 that are locked to the ceiling housing 21 and the top surface 111 of the connecting housing 11. A quantity of the first fixing members 22 is preferably three in the present embodiment, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto.


In addition, the ceiling housing 21 has a bottom plate 211 and a side plate 212 that is surroundingly formed on an edge of the bottom plate 211, and the bottom plate 211 abuts against the top surface 111 of the connecting housing 11.


Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 3, in the present embodiment, a profile of the ceiling device 2 is substantially shaped in the form of an inverted trapezoid. The three first fixing members 22 are screws, and are locked to the bottom plate 211 and the top surface 111 of the connecting housing 11. When the three first fixing members 22 are locked to the bottom plate 211 and the top surface 111, each of the three first fixing members 22 is located between two adjacent ones of the mounting slots 113.


As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, the ceiling fan device 3 includes a motor housing 31, a plurality of second fixing members 32, and a ceiling fan main body 33. The second fixing members 32 are respectively located in the mounting slots 113 and locked to the motor housing 31, and the ceiling fan main body 33 is partly disposed in the connecting seat 12 and the ceiling housing 21. In addition, the gasket 13 is disposed between the mounting slots 113 and the motor housing 31.


It should be noted that a quantity of the second fixing members 32 is exemplified as being three in the present embodiment, in which the three second fixing members 32 are screws; however, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. In addition, the ceiling fan main body 33 of the present embodiment includes a plurality of fan blades (not shown in the drawings) and a ceiling fan motor (not labeled in the drawings) that is connected to the fan blades.


Since the primary focus of the present disclosure is not on improvements to the ceiling fan main body 33, details regarding the same will not be described herein. Here, only features that differ from the related art will be illustrated.


As shown in FIG. 3, the motor housing 31 further includes a protruding portion 311, a flange portion 312 that is surroundingly formed on an edge of the protruding portion 311, and an isolating portion 313 that extends from the edge of the flange portion 312. In addition, an edge of the surrounding side surface 112 is distant from the ceiling housing 21, abuts against the flange portion 312, and is adjacent to the isolating portion 313.


It should be noted that when the surrounding side surface 112 abuts against the flange portion 312, a depth of each of the mounting slots 113 is at least ⅔ to ⅘ of a smallest vertical distance between the top surface 111 and the flange portion 312 of the motor housing 31. Accordingly, when the three second fixing members 32 are located in the three mounting slots 113 and are locked to the motor housing 31, an operator can easily perform a locking operation.


As shown in FIG. 3, a step difference 31a is formed between the protruding portion 311 and the flange portion 312, and a total depth of the step difference 31a and one of the mounting slots 113 is not greater than a shortest vertical distance between the top surface 111 and the motor housing 31.


It should be noted that, as shown in FIG. 3, a surface of the protruding portion 311 is adjacent to bottom portions of the mounting slots 113, the protruding portion 311 and the flange portion 312 each has a plurality of openings 3111 and a plurality of openings 3121 formed thereon, and the ceiling fan main body 33 partly passes through one of the openings 3111 of the protruding portion 311.


In addition, as shown in FIG. 3, FIG. 6, and FIG. 7, the three second fixing members 32 can be locked to the openings 3111 of the protruding portion 311 and the base 121, or the three second fixing members 32 can be locked to the openings 3121 of the flange portion 312 and the base 121.


Beneficial Effects of the Embodiment

In conclusion, in the integrated ceiling fan 100 and the ceiling fan connecting device 1 provided by the present disclosure, by virtue of: the ceiling fan connecting device 1 including a connecting housing 11 and a connecting seat 12 that is disposed in the connecting housing 11, the connecting housing 11 having a top surface 111, a surrounding side surface 112 that surrounds and is connected to an edge of the top surface 111, and a plurality of mounting slots 113 that are recessed from the top surface 111, and the second fixing members 32 being respectively located in the mounting slots 113 and are locked to the motor housing 31, no longer are any noticeable intervals present between the connecting housing 11, the ceiling housing 21, and the motor housing 31. In addition, the quantity of components in the integrated ceiling fan 100 is reduced, so that installation thereof can be more conveniently performed by a user.

Claims
  • 1. An integrated ceiling fan, comprising: a ceiling fan connecting device including a connecting housing and a connecting seat that is disposed in the connecting housing, wherein the connecting housing has a top surface, a surrounding side surface that surrounds and is connected to an edge of the top surface, and a plurality of mounting slots that are recessed from the top surface;a ceiling device including a ceiling housing and a plurality of first fixing members that are locked to the ceiling housing and the top surface of the connecting housing; anda ceiling fan device including a motor housing, a plurality of second fixing members, and a ceiling fan main body, wherein the second fixing members are respectively located in the mounting slots and are locked to the motor housing, and the ceiling fan main body is partly disposed in the connecting seat and the ceiling housing.
  • 2. The integrated ceiling fan according to claim 1, wherein the motor housing further includes a protruding portion, a flange portion that is surroundingly formed on an edge of the protruding portion, and an isolating portion that extends from the edge of the protruding portion, and wherein a step difference is formed between the protruding portion and the flange portion, and a total depth of the step difference and one of the mounting slots is not greater than a shortest vertical distance between the top surface and the motor housing.
  • 3. The integrated ceiling fan according to claim 2, wherein a surface of the protruding portion is adjacent to bottom portions of the mounting slots, the protruding portion and the flange portion each has a plurality of openings formed thereon, and the ceiling fan main body partly passes through one of the openings of the protruding portion.
  • 4. The integrated ceiling fan according to claim 2, wherein the connecting seat includes a base and an accommodating tube that is connected to the base, and wherein the second fixing members are locked to the protruding portion and the base, or the second fixing members are locked to the flange portion and the base.
  • 5. The integrated ceiling fan according to claim 1, wherein the ceiling housing has a bottom plate and a side plate that is surroundingly formed on an edge of the bottom plate, and the bottom plate abuts against the top surface of the connecting housing.
  • 6. The integrated ceiling fan according to claim 2, wherein an edge of the surrounding side surface that is distant from the ceiling housing abuts against the flange portion, and is adjacent to the isolating portion.
  • 7. The integrated ceiling fan according to claim 1, wherein a quantity of the mounting slots is three, and a distance between any two adjacent ones of the mounting slots is the same.
  • 8. The integrated ceiling fan according to claim 1, wherein a depth of each of the mounting slots is at least ⅔ to ⅘ of a smallest vertical distance between the top surface and the motor housing.
  • 9. The integrated ceiling fan according to claim 1, wherein the ceiling fan connecting device further includes a gasket that is disposed between the mounting slots and the motor housing.
  • 10. A ceiling fan connecting device, comprising: a connecting housing having a top surface, a surrounding side surface that surrounds and is connected to an edge of the top surface, and a plurality of mounting slots that are recessed from the top surface; anda connecting seat disposed in the connecting housing and partly penetrating through the top surface.
