Claims
- 1. A folder, comprising:
- a first cover and a second cover interconnected at a folder edge so as to form a primary pocket between the first and second covers, the front cover including a first cut to form a tab portion and second cut positioned between the first cut and the folder edge and extending through the front cover to cooperate with an interior surface of the folder edge to form a secondary pocket, the second cut including at least one end portion and a center portion, wherein a separation distance between the center portion and the folder edge is less than approximately 50% of a separation distance between the tab portion and the folder edge, and a separation distance between the end portion and the folder edge is greater than approximately 50% of the separation distance between the tab portion and the folder edge.
- 2. The folder of claim 1, wherein the second cut has two end portions separated by the center portion, both end portions being spaced further from the folder edge than the central portion.
- 3. The folder of claim 1, wherein a separation distance between the center portion and the folder edge is less than approximately 40% of a separation distance between the tab portion and the folder edge.
- 4. The folder of claim 1, further comprising tick marks on the second cut so as to prevent the second cut from opening until intentionally opened by a user.
- 5. The folder of claim 1, wherein the front and rear covers are integrally formed from one sheet of foldable material, and the folder edge comprises a fold between the front and rear covers.
- 6. The folder of claim 1, wherein one of the front and rear pocket covers is provided with a tab portion folded and attached to the other of the front and rear covers, and the folder edge includes a fold between the tab portion and the one of the front and rear covers.
- 7. The folder of claim 1, wherein the folder is one of a slash jacket, a file jacket, a dental-style file jacket, a folder divider and a pocket portfolio.
