Claims
- 1. A method for operating an interactive keno gaming device that comprises:
receiving at least one player selected symbol from a player during a game session; receiving a condition from said player that identifies at least one player credit for each chargeable action during said game session, each said chargeable action including picking at least one game selected symbol from a set of game symbols; performing said chargeable action during said game session more than once; and terminating said game session wherein said game session outcome is achieved at least in part by said player's skill.
- 2. The method of claim 1 wherein said at least one player selected symbol is selected from a set of numbers.
- 3. The method of claim 2 wherein said at least one game selected symbol is selected from said set of numbers.
- 4. The method of claim 3 wherein said set of game symbols is said set of numbers.
- 5. The method of claim 4 wherein said set of numbers include a plurality of integers.
- 6. The method of claim 5 wherein said set of numbers comprise integers ranging from 1 through 80.
- 7. The method of claim 5 wherein said set of numbers comprise integers ranging from 1 through 100.
- 8. The method of claim 5 wherein said set of numbers comprise integers ranging from 1 through 60.
- 9. The method of claim 5 wherein said set of numbers comprise integers ranging from 1 through 40.
- 10. The method of claim 1 further comprising providing a paytable that determines if a prize is awarded when said at least one game selected symbol matches said at least one player selected symbol.
- 11. The method of claim 10 further comprising displaying said paytable.
- 12. The method of claim 11 further comprising revising said paytable after each chargeable action.
- 13. The method of claim 11 further comprising revising said paytable according to a total number of player credits played during said game session.
- 14. The method of claim 11 further comprising revising said paytable according to a formula having a weighted probability, said weighted probability dependent on a total number of game selected symbols picked during said game session.
- 15. The method of claim 1 further comprising terminating said game session after performing said chargeable action more than once.
- 16. The method of claim 15 wherein terminating said game session further comprises receiving an indication from said player to terminate said game session.
- 17. The method of claim 15 wherein terminating said game session further comprises terminating said game session after a prize is awarded to said player.
- 18. The method of claim 1 further comprising awarding an intermediary prize of a plurality of additional credits when said at least one game selected symbol matches said at least one player selected symbol.
- 19. The method of claim 18 further comprising providing said additional credits to said player during said game session.
- 20. The method of claim 1 further comprising performing a random drawing of said at least one game selected symbol from said set of game symbols.
- 21. A method for operating an interactive keno gaming device, comprising:
receiving at least one player selected symbol from a player during a game session, said at least one player selected symbol picked from a set of game symbols; performing more than one chargeable action during said game session, said chargeable action including picking said at least one game selected symbol and charging said player at least one player credit; and receiving a command after performing said more than one chargeable action, said command configured to determine whether to continue said game session.
- 22. The method of claim 21 wherein said at least one player selected symbol is selected from a set of numbers.
- 23. The method of claim 22 wherein said at least one game selected symbol is picked from said set of numbers.
- 24. The method of claim 23 wherein said set of game symbols is said set of numbers.
- 25. The method of claim 24 wherein said set of numbers include a plurality of integers.
- 26. The method of claim 25 wherein said set of numbers comprise integers ranging from 1 through 80.
- 27. The method of claim 25 wherein said set of numbers comprise integers ranging from 1 through 100.
- 28. The method of claim 25 wherein said set of numbers comprise integers ranging from 1 through 60.
- 29. The method of claim 25 wherein said set of numbers comprise integers ranging from 1 through 40.
- 30. The method of claim 21 further comprising, pausing said game session when said at least one game selected symbol matches said at least one player selected symbol.
- 31. The method of claim 30 further comprising terminating said game session after performing said chargeable action more than once.
- 32. The method of claim 31 wherein terminating said game session further comprises receiving an indication from said player to terminate said game session.
- 33. The method of claim 31 wherein terminating said game session further comprises terminating said game session after a prize is awarded to said player.
- 34. The method of claim 21 further comprising awarding an intermediary prize of a plurality of additional credits when said at least one game selected symbol matches said at least one player selected symbol.
- 35. The method of claim 34 further comprising providing said additional credits to said player during said game session.
- 36. The method of claim 21 further comprising performing a random drawing of said at least one game selected symbol from said set of game symbols.
- 37. The method of claim 21 further comprising providing a paytable that determines if a prize is awarded when said at least one game selected symbol matches said at least one player selected symbol.
- 38. The method of claim 37 further comprising revising said paytable after each chargeable action.
- 39. The method of claim 38 further comprising revising said paytable according to a total number of player credits played during said game session.
- 40. The method of claim 38 further comprising revising said paytable according to a formula having a weighted probability, said weighted probability dependent on a total number of game selected symbols picked during said game session.
- 41. A method for operating an interactive keno gaming device that comprises:
receiving at least one player selected symbol from a player during a game session, said game session including drawing at least one game selected symbol from a set of game symbols more than once; receiving a condition from said player that identifies at least one credit which enables a chargeable action during said game session, said chargeable action including picking said at least one game selected symbol; providing a paytable that determines if a prize is awarded to said player when said at least one game selected symbol matches said at least one player selected symbol; and performing more than one chargeable action in which said player is charged at least one credit when said at least one game selected symbol is picked.
- 42. The method of claim 41 further comprising terminating said game session wherein said game session outcome is achieved at least in part by said player's skill.
- 43. The method of claim 41 wherein said at least one player selected symbol is selected from a set of numbers.
- 44. The method of claim 43 wherein said at least one game selected symbol is selected from said set of numbers.
- 45. The method of claim 44 wherein said set of game symbols is said set of numbers.
- 46. The method of claim 45 wherein said set of numbers include a plurality of integers.
- 47. The method of claim 46 wherein said set of numbers comprise integers ranging from 1 through 80.
- 48. The method of claim 46 wherein said set of numbers comprise integers ranging from 1 through 100.
- 49. The method of claim 46 wherein said set of numbers comprise integers ranging from 1 through 60.
- 50. The method of claim 46 wherein said set of numbers comprise integers ranging from 1 through 40.
- 51. A method for operating an interactive keno gaming device that comprises:
receiving at least one player selected symbol from a player during a game session, said game session including repeatedly picking at least one game selected symbol from a set of game symbols; receiving a condition from said player that identifies at least one credit which enables a chargeable action during said game session, said chargeable action including drawing said at least one game selected symbol; and performing more than one chargeable action in which said player is charged at least one credit when said at least one game selected symbol is picked.
- 52. The method of claim 51 further comprising terminating said game session wherein said game session outcome is achieved at least in part by said player's skill.
- 53. The method of claim 51 wherein said at least one player selected symbol is selected from a set of numbers.
- 54. The method of claim 53 wherein said at least one game selected symbol is picked from said set of numbers.
- 55. The method of claim 54 wherein said set of game symbols is said set of numbers.
- 56. The method of claim 55 wherein said set of numbers include a plurality of integers.
- 57. The method of claim 56 wherein said set of numbers comprise integers ranging from 1 through 80.
- 58. The method of claim 56 wherein said set of numbers comprise integers ranging from 1 through 100.
- 59. The method of claim 56 wherein said set of numbers comprise integers ranging from 1 through 60.
- 60. The method of claim 56 wherein said set of numbers comprise integers ranging from 1 through 40.
- 61. An interactive keno gaming system comprising a display and a memory, said display configured to display an interactive keno game, said memory configured to store a computer readable program code for said interactive keno game, said computer readable program code comprising:
causing said interactive keno gaming system to receive at least one player selected symbol from a player during a game session, said at least one player selected symbol chosen from a set of game symbols; causing said interactive keno gaming system to receive a condition from said player that identifies at least one credit that is associated with performing more than one chargeable action during said game session, said chargeable action including picking said at least one game selected symbol; and causing said interactive keno gaming system to perform each chargeable action by charging said at least one credit to said player for picking said at least one game selected symbol.
- 62. The interactive keno gaming system of claim 61 wherein said computer readable program code further comprises causing said interactive keno gaming system to terminate said game session, wherein said game session outcome is achieved at least in part by said player's skill.
- 63. The interactive keno gaming system of claim 61 wherein said computer readable program code further comprises causing said interactive keno gaming system to provide a paytable that determines if a prize is awarded when said at least one game selected symbol matches said at least one player selected symbol.
- 64. The interactive keno gaming system of claim 61 wherein said computer readable program code further comprises causing said interactive keno gaming system to terminate said game session after performing said chargeable action more than once.
- 65. The interactive keno gaming system of claim 61 wherein said computer readable program code further comprises causing said interactive keno gaming system to award an intermediary prize of a plurality of additional credits when said at least one game selected symbol matches said at least one player selected symbol.
- 66. The interactive keno gaming system of claim 61 wherein said computer readable program code further comprises causing said interactive keno gaming system to perform a random drawing of said at least one game selected symbol from said set of game symbols.
- 67. A computer program product for use with an electronic device, said computer program product comprising:
a computer usable medium having computer readable program code embodied in said medium for causing an interactive keno game to be displayed on said electronic device, said computer program product comprising:
causing said interactive keno gaming system to receive at least one player selected symbol from a player during a game session, said at least one player selected symbol chosen from a set of game symbols; causing said interactive keno gaming system to receive a condition from said player that identifies at least one credit that is associated with performing more than one chargeable action during said game session, said chargeable action including picking said at least one game selected symbol; and causing said interactive keno gaming system to perform each chargeable action by charging said at least one credit to said player for picking said at least one game selected symbol.
- 68. The interactive keno gaming system of claim 67 wherein said computer readable program code further comprises causing said interactive keno gaming system to terminate said game session, wherein said game session outcome is achieved at least in part by said player's skill.
- 69. The interactive keno gaming system of claim 67 wherein said computer readable program code further comprises causing said interactive keno gaming system to provide a paytable that determines if a prize is awarded when said at least one game selected symbol matches said at least one player selected symbol.
- 70. The interactive keno gaming system of claim 67 wherein said computer readable program code further comprises causing said interactive keno gaming system to terminate said game session after performing said chargeable action more than once.
- 71. The interactive keno gaming system of claim 67 wherein said computer readable program code further comprises causing said interactive keno gaming system to award an intermediary prize of a plurality of additional credits when said at least one game selected symbol matches said at least one player selected symbol.
- 72. The interactive keno gaming system of claim 67 wherein said computer readable program code further comprises causing said interactive keno gaming system to perform a random drawing of said at least one game selected symbol from said set of game symbols.
