Claims
- 1. A faucet consisting of a receptacle for receipt of multiple interchangeable spouts and a spout, the receptacle including at least one seal arranged therein to prevent leakage between receptacle and spout.
- 2. A faucet assembly capable of receiving different spouts consisting
of a spout having a flange attached thereto;
a spout receptacle having a flange attached thereto and having at least one surface in the receptacle for placement of sealing means therein; removable fasteners engaged by the flanges whereby the spout is secured to the spout receptacle and is sealed in the receptacle.
- 3. The faucet of claim 2 wherein the sealing means is a washer
- 4. The faucet of claim 2 wherein the sealing means is an O-ring
- 5. The faucet of claim 2 wherein the spout has a gooseneck shape
- 6. A faucet assembly consisting of a water supply, a removable gooseneck spout and a laminar flow control device located adjacent the inlet to the spout.
- 7. The faucet assembly of claim 6 wherein the gooseneck spout is removably attached to a spout receptacle, the receptacle including at least one internal recess containing the laminar flow control device.
- 8 The faucet assembly of claim 7 wherein the spout and receptacle have flanges attached thereto and fasteners associated with the flanges whereby the spout can be removed and replaced with another spout.
- 9. The faucet assembly of claim 7 wherein a sealing means is positioned in the internal recess of the spout receptacle.
- 10 A faucet assembly consisting of a removable gooseneck spout, a valve having a water inlet for receipt of water supply piping connecting the spout and valve, and a laminar flow control device upstream of the spout
- 11. The faucet assembly of claim 10 wherein the laminar flow control device is located at the water inlet of the valve
- 12. The faucet assembly of claim 10 wherein the laminar flow control device is located at the inlet to the spout.
- 13. A faucet assembly consisting of a removable gooseneck spout, a valve having a water inlet, piping connecting the valve and spout, a laminar flow control device and a check valve positioned adjacent the inlet to the spout.
- 14. The faucet assembly of claim 13 wherein a check valve holder containing the check valve is located within the inlet end of the spout.
- 15. The faucet assembly of claim 14 including a spout receptacle adjacent the inlet end of the spout having a sealing means sealingly engaged with a surface of the check valve holder.
