Claims
- 1. A device for the detection, location and translocation of a non-spherical magnet which comprises three Hall effect generators disposed perpendicularly to each other, a three-dimensional display indicator means indicating distance to the magnet which responds to the output voltage of all of the Hall effect generators in electrical connection with said generators, and grasping means for temporary attachment of the magnet to the device.
- 2. The device of claim 1, wherein said device comprises a probe portion adapted to be inserted into the uterus of a patient.
- 3. The device of claim 1, wherein said probe portion is constructed of materials incapable of holding a magnetic dipole.
- 4. The device of claim 1, wherein said grasping means comprises at least two opposing finger members which separate when actuated.
- 5. The device of claim 1, wherein the said Hall effect generators and said grasping means are contained within a probe which is in electrical connection with said indicator means.
- 6. The device of claim 5, wherein said probe is of a diameter to allow passage through the cervical os of a human female.
- 7. The device of claim 1, wherein said Hall effect generators and said grasping means are in close proximity.
- 8. The device of claim 7, wherein said grasping means surrounds said Hall effect generators.
