The present disclosure relates to hair accessories and, more particularly, to a wig with no lace, no net, and no cap. The wig is designed so that the wearer can achieve fuller and natural look, while natural hair is not stretched and fully ventilated.
The use of wigs and hair pieces has increased very substantially in recent times but has, to some extent, been limited by inability of the wigs or hair pieces to be restyled and/or re-dyed without deterioration of the hair piece. Thus, it has been necessary to own a large number of hair pieces or wigs in order to provide the owner with a variety of styles and/or colors.
Today, wigs, hair pieces and extensions are worn for a variety of reasons. Whether a finely crafted wig worn by a woman who has lost her hair as a result of chemotherapy treatments or lupus, or colorful hair extensions and braids which adorn the head of a pop star: wigs, hairpieces and extensions offer people a simple means of accentuating their appearance and feeling good about themselves.
Over the years several improvements in wig design have been developed. For instance, many wigs include a coating around the outer perimeter of the hair net to create a more stable and resilient structure which will better adhere to a person’s head than hair nets without such coating.
By looking at prior art multiple advancements have been seen in similar regards. U.S. Pat. 3,809,100A implies a wig construction in which a cap to which the hair is attached is mounted on a foraminous form whose edges rest on the head of the wearer, but which is otherwise spaced from the head. The wig cap with its attached hair may be a single section that covers the entire form or may optionally be composed of a number of independently replaceable sections.
U.S. Pat. 6,971,397B1 implies a face lifting wig comprising a substantially thin hair net structured to be snugly seated over a person’s scalp in covering relation thereto and at least one adhesive pad structured to removably adhere to a person’s skin so as to retain the skin over a person’s face in a lifted position. The hair net includes a first tipper portion, a second adjacent lower portion attached to the first upper portion to form a reinforced seam therebetween and a generally resilient border structured to retain the hair net over the person’s scalp. The adhesive pads are attached to the bottom surface of the border over the reinforced seam. In use, the hair net is positioned over the user’s scalp, the border lifted slightly, the user’s skin stretched upwards beneath the border and the border lowered so that the adhesive pads adhere to the user’s skin, thereby retaining the skin over the user’s face in the lifted position.
U.S. Pat. 2,015,0013708A1 implies a wig which is provided comprising a lace or mesh skull cap, wherein the skull cap comprises a stretchy lace or mesh material that comfortably conforms to the shape of a wearer’s scalp and is soft and gentle against the skin, wherein the openings or interstices of the lace or mesh are capable of receiving braided strands of hair sewn directly into the skullcap. The wig is designed so that the lace or mesh shows through at the wearer’s scalp where the braids change direction.
U.S. Pat. 2,003,0140934A1 discloses an ornamental wig such as a toupee or a hairpiece, which requires no special treatment in a specialty store such as a beauty parlor, can change its color easily in response to the existence of light irradiation such as an ultraviolet ray. The ornamental wig includes reversible photosensitive discoloring imitation hair containing a photochromic compound at least in a portion thereof. The wig is of a size so as to be attachable to a human head, and an attaching device or devices are fitted to a portion of the wig.
U.S. Pat. 2,017,0079354A1 discloses a wig includes a basic member and a plurality of hair strings, the roots of the hair strings being connected to basic member with one or more connecting strings. The roots of the hair strings are the aggregation of the same position of several hairs. The manufacturing technique of this kind of wig includes preparing the basic member and the plurality of hair strings; and then attaching the roots of the hair strings to the basic member.
U.S. Pat. 3,835,867A shows a wig comprising a cap of elastic net formed of alternating zones of fine and wide mesh, strips of hairs being attached only to the fine mesh zones. The strips are formed from a number of hairs attached transversely to at least one thin elastic support.
U.S. Pat. 2,017,0265549A1 relates to an elastic wig mesh cap, wherein the mesh cap is provided with an elastic band at a cap edge thereof, the mesh cap is provided with a connection button at two sides thereof, the mesh cap comprises a front sheet of the mesh cap and a back sheet of the mesh cap, the front sheet of the mesh cap and the back sheet of the mesh cap are seamed via a suture, the back sheet of the mesh cap is provided with a plurality of wrinkles from the cap edge toward the head of the mesh cap.
There are multiple inventions that have been proposed in pro art. However, these solutions are limited and restricted to their conventional architecture, installation system and have considerable shortcomings which adversely affect the convenience with which they can be used. The prior systems have certain limitations including the design of assemblies which make them not suitable for every type of user. Moreover, the ease-of-use of these assemblies is also questionable.
It has been noted that as per Applicant’s knowledge, none of these prior art methods have been found to be completely suitable to meet these needs and are cumbersome. Thus, there is a need in the prior art in which the aforementioned inconveniences, difficulties, and grooming problems are, for all practical purposes, eliminated. Thus, the present invention provides such a method and the overall combination of these features is nowhere disclosed in the prior art cited above which appears to be representative of the general art in this area although it is not intended to be an all-inclusive listing of pertinent prior art patents.
In light of the disadvantages of the prior art, the following summary is provided to facilitate an understanding of some of the innovative features unique to the present invention and is not intended to be a full description. A full appreciation of the various aspects of the invention can be gained by taking the entire specification, claims, drawings, and abstract as a whole.
Embodiments of the invention relates to a wig foundation using a full elastic head band and elastic bands going across the head band from one side to the other and sewn in with elastic thread, to construct the foundation.
A prime objective of the present invention is to provide an improved form of wig which can accommodate all types of hair and bring the natural hair through the bands to achieve a fuller and more natural look.
It is also the objective of invention to eliminate any stretch tension on the natural hair and keep them ventilated as this process does not need lace, nets or cap to install.
Another objective of the invention relates to presentation of a wig holder which is made of high-quality material thus causing the wig to stay for long time in a stable and firm position.
Still another object is to provide a wig which covers a person’s scalp and lifts or tightens the person’s face and the inner part of the band can be lined with silk as to not pull out the edges of the wearer’s hair.
Yet another significant object of the invention is to provide a hair wig which is easy to assemble and disband.
It is another significant object of the invention to add bands to a scrunchie/ponytail holder to make a long ponytail with human/synthetic hair.
The further objective of the invention is the wig is ornamentally designed, has a good appearance, and it is durable, lightweight, compact in packaging and convenient in placing.

Before explaining the invention in detail, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited in its application to the detail of application illustrated in the drawings since the invention is capable of other embodiments and of being practiced or carried out in various ways. Wigs and hair pieces have been around since the Egyptians built their empires and were often considered fashionable, but for the past half-century or so, many women-particularly those who turn to wigs and clip-ins because of hair loss-have regarded them with a sense of embarrassment. But today, taboos around hair pieces are evaporating, thanks largely to greater experimentation among celebrities and increased transparency via social media, as well as improvements in product and application technology.
Above all has helped us to convince us that if you fancy a blunt glossy bob one day and long blonde locks the next, wigs are the way to go. The fashion changes so quickly these days that waiting for one’s hair to grow again after cutting takes time. Nobody is interested in this fast pace life to commit to a new style or color when they can change your look from day to day? Increasingly, young women are turning to wigs, especially hair pieces and wefts, which give instant length and fullness in seconds”.
Moreover because of medical reasons hair loss is also a rising problem. Hairs are one of the foremost losses in an induvial health. Everyone is really sensitive to when the hair topic comes. There is no doubt that hairs are the integral part of one’s personality. So, wearing theses wigs is also a great necessity in this domain.
The present invention implies a wig foundation using a full elastic head band and elastic bands going across the head band from one side to the other and sewn in with elastic thread, to construct the foundation, the sewing weaving human or synthetic hair on to the bands going across from one side to the other, making any type of part.
The assembly as per its further embodiments includes elastic bands with 4 tuck/mini combs or 4 wig clips one on each side and one in the back and front and could be more in the front depending on the part. The inner part of the band can be lined with silk as to not pull out the edges of the wearer’s hair.
As per its additional embodiments to install safely, the user needs to anchor braid going around the perimeter of head with the desired amount of leave out. The unit is secured with 4 mini combs or wig clips 1 on each side 1 in front depending on the part it can be 2 or more and one in the back with an adjustable strap. The front end of the headband can be altered to have a clear elastic band in the front or altered with invisible thread to camouflage the band and be undetected.
As per its further embodiments the assembly allows to add bands to a scrunchie/ponytail holder to make a long ponytail with human/synthetic hair.
As described above, the present invention provides the wig of which the length can be freely adjusted by a wearer when wearing the wig, and which can solve any difficulty due to the pressure that the wearer feels during wearing the conventional wig. Also, the present invention provides an effect that the wig’s hair looks like natural human hair by coloring materials of a wig base with colors similar to the color of the head skin.
