Claims
- 1. An ionically conductive material comprising a metallic salt of a strong acid in solution in a solvent, wherein said solvent is liquid and comprises (1) a sulfonated derivative of formula (I):
- R.sub.1 R.sub.2 N--SO.sub.2 --NR.sub.3 R.sub.4
- wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each independently a C.sub.1-10 alkyl group or a C.sub.1-10 oxaalkyl group.
- 2. The material of claim 1, wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each a methyl group.
- 3. The material of claim 2, wherein R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each an ethyl group.
- 4. The material of claim 1, wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each an ethyl group.
- 5. In an electrochemical generator, the improvement comprising using an ionically conductive material comprising a metallic salt of a strong acid in solution in a solvent, wherein said solvent is liquid and comprises a sulfonated derivative of formula (I):
- R.sub.1 R.sub.2 N--SO.sub.2 --NR.sub.3 R.sub.4
- wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each independently a C.sub.1-10 alkyl group or a C.sub.1-10 oxaalkyl group.
- 6. The electrochemical generator of claim 5, wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each a methyl group.
- 7. The electrochemical generator of claim 6, wherein R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each an ethyl group.
- 8. The electrochemical generator of claim 5, wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each an ethyl group.
- 9. An ionically conductive material comprising a salt in solution and a liquid solvent, wherein said solvent comprises a sulfonated compound of formula (I);
- R.sub.1 R.sub.2 N--SO.sub.2 --NR.sub.3 R.sub.4
- wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each independently a C.sub.1-12 alkyl group or a C.sub.1-10 oxaalkyl group and wherein said salt is a metallic salt selected from the group consisting of the derivatives of formula LiClO.sub.4, M[RF--SO.sub.2 --A--SO.sub.2 --R'F], M[RF--SO.sub.2 --A--CO--R'F], M[RF--CO--A--CO--R'F] ##STR10## wherein: M is an alkali metal, an alkaline-earth metal, a transition metal or a rear earth metal;
- QF is a C.sub.2-6 divalent radical or a perfluorinated C.sub.2-6 divalent radical;
- RF and R'F are different or identical and each represents a C.sub.1-12 alkyl group, a C.sub.6-12 aryl group, a perhalogenated C.sub.1-12 alkyl group, or a perhalogenated C.sub.6-12 aryl group;
- A is a nitrogen atom or a CR group where R is hydrogen or a C.sub.1-20 alkyl group.
- 10. The material of claim 9, wherein said RF and R'F radical are each independently perfluorinated C.sub.1-12 alkyl group or a perfluorinated C.sub.6-12 aryl group.
- 11. The material of claim 9, wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each a methyl group.
- 12. The material of claim 11, wherein R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each an ethyl group.
- 13. The material of claim 9, wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each an ethyl group.
- 14. The material of claim 9, wherein said salt is LiClO.sub.4 or (CF.sub.3 SO.sub.2).sub.2 NLi.
- 15. In an electrochemical generator, the improvement comprising using an ionically conductive material comprising a salt in solution in a liquid solvent, wherein said solvent comprises a sulfonated derivative of formula (I):
- R.sub.1 R.sub.2 N--SO.sub.2 --NR.sub.3 R.sub.4
- wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each independently C.sub.1-10 or C.sub.1-10 oxaalkyl group, and wherein said salt is a metallic salt selected from the group consisting of the derivatives of formula LiClO.sub.4, M[RF--SO.sub.2 =13 A--SO.sub.2 --R'F], M[RF--SO.sub.2 --A--CO--R'F], M[RF--CO--A--CO--R'F] ##STR11## wherein M is a metal selected from the group consisting of alkali metals, alkaline-earth metals, transition metals and rare earth metals, QF is a C.sub.2-6 divalent radical where a perfluorinated C.sub.2-6 divalent radical, RF and R'F can be different or identical and each represents a radical selected from the group consisting of C.sub.1-12 alkyl groups, C.sub.6-12 aryl groups, perhalogenated C.sub.1-12 alkyl groups and perhalogenated C.sub.6-12 aryl groups, and A represents a nitrogen atom or a group CR in which R is hydrogen or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 alkyl radical, said solvent being a liquid.
- 16. The electrochemical generator of claim 15, wherein said RF and R'F are each independently a perfluorinated C.sub.1-12 alkyl group or a perfluorinated C.sub.6-12 aryl group.
- 17. The electrochemical generator of claim 15, wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each a methyl group.
- 18. The electrochemical generator of claim 17, wherein R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each an ethyl group.
- 19. The electrochemical generator of claim 15, wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each an ethyl group.
- 20. The electrochemical generator of claim 15, wherein said salt is LiClO.sub.4 or (CF.sub.3 SO.sub.2).sub.2 NLi.
- 21. An ionically conductive material comprising a metallic salt of a strong acid in solution in a solvent, wherein said solvent is liquid and comprises a sulfonated derivative of formula (I):
- R.sub.1 R.sub.2 N--SO.sub.2 --NR.sub.3 R.sub.4
- wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each a methyl group and R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each an ethyl group or R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each an ethyl group.
- 22. The material of claim 21, wherein said metallic salt is LiClO.sub.4 or (CF.sub.3 SO.sub.2).sub.2 NLi.
- 23. In an electrochemical generator, the improvement comprising using an ionically conductive material comprising a metallic salt of a strong acid in solution in a solvent, wherein said solvent is liquid and comprises a sulfonated derivative of formula (I):
- R.sub.1 R.sub.2 N--SO.sub.2 --NR.sub.3 R.sub.4
- wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each a methyl group and R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each an ethyl group or R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each an ethyl group.
- 24. The electrochemical generator of claim 23, wherein said metallic salt is LiClO.sub.4 or (CF.sub.3 SO.sub.2).sub.2 NLi.
