Various types of dusters are known in the prior art. However what is needed, and what is provided here in is a cleaning device that is shaped like an iron. Which includes a handle assembly that is attached to the cleaning base, which has a microfiber bottom. The cleaning base has five trap and locks, to allow a cleaning cloth to be inserted into each hole. The present device permits a cloth to be attached to it, and the shape of this device prevents injury to the fingers that are holding it while cleaning. This device allows the user to clean in hard to get spots without obtaining injury to hands.
The present invention relates to dusting, and more particularly an iron shaped duster, with a rewashable and removeable microfiber cleaning cloth attached.
The general purpose of the present iron duster, described subsequently, in greater detail, is to provide an iron shaped duster that has many novel features that results in an iron duster, which is not anticipated, rendered, obvious, suggested, or even implied by prior art. Either alone or in combination thereof. To accomplish this, the present iron duster iron includes a single construction dusting body, having a base, a handle extending from the top of the base, a microfiber bottom attached to the bottom of the base, and holes perforated into the top of the base. Another aspect of the invention relates to a cleaning cloth that is attached into the trap and locks perforated onto the cleaning base.
With reference now to the drawings, an example of the iron duster employing the principles and concept of the present iron duster generally designated by the reference number 10 comprises in general a work engaging cleaning base 2 having a flat and smooth polyurethane foam 3 attached to its bottom. There are five trap and locks 4 put onto the top of the base 2. Further any cleaning cloth may be attached to the base, by being inserted into the trap and locks. A manipulating handle 1 is disposed centrally above the cleaning base 2. There is a hook 5 attached to the back of the cleaning base 2, allowing the iron duster 10 to be held up by a hook on any surface.
With reference to
In the second embodiment, the cleaning cloth 11 is knitted with a pattern comprising a pique knitting pattern. Allowing dust particles to be collected securely within it. It can be tucked into the trap and locks 4 in reference to figures securely to allow the cloth to be used with the iron duster. It may also comprised with an elastic band 12 attached to its outer region 13.
A sprayer system may be added to the aforementioned iron Duster, the system consists of having a trigger, which in this case is the trigger button 7, a pump mechanism, and a trigger sprayer 6. The sprayer system further includes a solvent reservoir 5 for accommodating a solvent substance, and a bottle 8 for accommodating a concentrate substance. Further, the solvent reservoir is positioned in the front of the handle 1 of the Iron duster 10, and is in fluid communication with the trigger sprayer 6, which has an interconnecting spray tube 9 to the bottle 8. When the person presses the trigger button 7, it activates the pumping mechanism to allow concentrate solvent to be ejected from the bottle onto whichever surface or object is being cleaned. The bottle is replaceable, when it runs out of solvent you may remove it from the device and reinsert a new concentrate substance bottle.
