Claims
- 1. An isolated Myt1 polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:2.
- 2. An isolated polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence encoded by a nucleic acid sequence which hybridizes to the nucleic acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:1 under highly stringent conditions, wherein the highly stringent conditions include 0.1×SSC at about 68° C. for 15 minutes, and wherein the polypeptide is a protein kinase.
- 3. The polypeptide of claim 2, wherein the polypeptide is a tyrosine protein kinase.
- 4. The polypeptide of claim 2, wherein the polypeptide is a threonine protein kinase.
- 5. The polypeptide of claim 2, wherein the polypeptide phosphorylates a Cdc-2 protein.
- 6. An isolated Myt1 polypeptide comprising a conservative variant of SEQ ID NO:2 or fragments thereof having kinase activity.
