Claims
- 1. A composition comprising an excipient and a conjugated linoleic acid component, said conjugated linoleic acid component comprising greater than about 92% of the t10,c12 isomer of conjugated linoleic acid.
- 2. The composition of claim 1, wherein said t10,c12 isomer is provided as an ester.
- 3. The composition of claim 1, wherein said t10,c12 isomer is provided a triglyceride.
- 4. The composition of claim 1, wherein said excipient is selected from the group consisting of starch, sucrose, and lactose.
- 5. The composition of claim 1, further comprising about 0.01 to 10 gram equivalents of said t10,c12 isomer of conjugated linoleic acid.
- 6. A composition comprising a capsule, said capsule containing a conjugated linoleic acid component comprising greater than about 92% of the t10,c12 isomer of conjugated linoleic acid.
- 7. The composition of claim 6, wherein said t10,c12 isomer is provided as an ester.
- 8. The composition of claim 6, wherein said t10,c12 isomer is provided as a triglyceride.
- 9. The composition of claim 6, wherein said capsule has an enteric coating.
