Claims
- 1. A compound of the formula ##STR18## wherein R.sub.1 represents hydrogen, fluoro, chloro, lower alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or lower alkoxy having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and
- R.sub.2 represents lower alkyl, i.e., alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or ##STR19## where R.sub.5 represents hydrogen, fluoro, chloro, lower alkyl as defined above or lower alkoxy as defined above, and
- R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each independently represent lower alkyl as defined above, and
- R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 together with N represent ##STR20## or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
- 2. A compound of claim 1 in free base form.
- 3. A compound of the formula ##STR21## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.5 are as defined in claim 1, or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
- 4. A compound of the formula ##STR22## where R.sub.2 is lower alkyl having 1-4 carbon atoms or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
- 5. A compound of the formula ##STR23## wherein R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are as defined in claim 1, or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
- 6. The compound of claim 1 which is 2-(5-methyl-3-phenyl-4-isoxazolyl)-3-(dimethylaminoethyl)-indole.
- 7. The compound of claim 1 which is 2-(3-ethyl-5-methyl-4-isoxazolyl)-3-(dimethylaminoethyl)-indole.
- 8. The compound of claim 1, which is 5-fluoro-2-(5-methyl-3-phenyl-4-isoxazolyl)-3-(dimethylaminoethyl)-indole.
- 9. The compound of claim 1, which is 2-(5-methyl-3-phenyl-4-isoxazolyl)-3-(morpholinoethyl)-indole.
- 10. The compound of claim 1, which is 2-(5-methyl-3-phenyl-4-isoxazolyl)-3-(piperidinoethyl)-indole.
