a force-transmitting foot part for insertion into a jaw; a shaft which is generally orthogonal to the foot part and having a distal end and a base operatively connected to the foot part; and the foot part and a portion of the shaft adjacent thereto having a surface increase for implanting; a portion of the shaft adjacent the distal end having a smooth, non-irritating surface; and the surface increase portion of the shaft being about one-half the total length of the shaft.
- 2. A jaw implant according to claim 1, wherein said foot part is asymmetrical and comprises one end, which is generally rectangular in shape and an opposite end which is generally circular in shape.
- 3. A jaw implant according to claim 1, including a web which interconnects said shaft and said foot part, and wherein the shaft and the web are positioned in a region outside the center of gravity of the foot part.
- 4. A jaw implant according to claim 1, wherein the shaft is positioned in the region of the center of gravity of the foot part.
- 5. A jaw implant according to claim 1, wherein the foot part consists of two disk rings which merge into one another and the shaft is connected thereto through a web, asymmetrically to the center of gravity of the foot part and at the center of one of the disk rings.
- 6. A jaw implant according to claim 1, wherein the foot part is a ring body with a web, which extends to the center of the foot part and merges into the shaft, the shaft having a bendable neck and at the distal end, has mounting means for mounting the dental prosthesis.
- 7. A jaw implant according to claim 6, wherein the mounting means is constructed and arranged so that a dental prosthesis may be secured by a retentive cementing.
- 8. A jaw implant according to claim 6, wherein the mounting means is constructed and arranged so that a dental prosthesis may be secured by an adjoining sealing.
- 9. A jaw implant according to claim 1, wherein the foot part has a generally square base form and at least one side of the base form is rounded and forms a web-like, semi-circular foot portion, while the comers of the opposite side of the base form are rounded by radii and the remaining sides of the square base form also comprise web-like foot portions by recesses provided in the foot part.
- 10. A jaw implant according to claim 1, wherein the foot part is formed by several spaced-apart, disk-like form bodies which are inter-connected through webs and another shaft portion orthogonally aligned to the foot part.
- 11. A jaw implant according to claim 1, wherein the foot part consists of two superposed form bodies with different external diameters, wherein at least one form body has a continuous web and the webs of the form bodies are positioned with respect to each other at an angle of 30° to 90°.
- 12. A jaw implant according to claim 11, wherein one of the form bodies is positioned away from the free end of the shaft, has a larger external diameter and a body form composed of geometric base forms deviating from the cylindrical configuration, while the other form body is adjacent to the shaft and has a round body form and a smaller external diameter.
- 13. A jaw implant according to claim 12, wherein the form body positioned away from the free end of the shaft has a body form composed of angular base forms deviating from the cylindrical configuration.
- 14. A jaw implant according to claim 12, wherein the form body positioned away from the free end of the shaft has a body form composed of elliptical base forms deviating from the cylindrical configuration.
- 15. A jaw implant according to claim 11, wherein the distance between the form bodies is greater than 3 mm.
- 16. A jaw implant according to claim 10, wherein the web connecting the shaft to the ring body is two-sided and is positioned along the vertical implant axis.
- 17. A jaw implant according to claim 10, wherein the web connecting the shaft to the ring body is two-sided and positioned along the horizontal implant axis.
- 18. A jaw implant according to claim 10, wherein the shaft is connected to the ring body through a web which is arranged generally in the shape of a cross.
- 19. A jaw implant according to claim 10, wherein the shaft and the foot part are connected to each other through a one-armed web, which is firmly attached to an inside wall of the foot portion of the ring body.
- 20. A jaw implant according to claim 10, wherein the shaft and the ring body are connected through webs, which are arranged at angles of 120° relative to one another.
- 21. A jaw implant according to claim 5, wherein the geometric form bodies are connected to each other through a continuous web.
- 22. A jaw implant according to claim 10, wherein the surfaces of the form bodies arranged beneath each other and those of the additional shaft are enlarged through jet processes.
- 23. A jaw implant according to claim 10, wherein the surfaces of the form bodies arranged beneath each other and those of the additional shaft are enlarged through etching processes.
- 24. A jaw implant according to claim 1, wherein the mounted overstructure is firmly connected to the implant by simultaneous screwing and cementing.
- 25. A jaw implant according to claim 1, wherein the implant is manufactured from titanium.
- 26. A jaw implant for receiving and mounting of artificial teeth or a prosthetic overstructure, comprising a ring-like foot part insertable basally in an upper or lower jaw; a shaft oriented orthogonally to said foot part; a structure providing an abutment and arranged at an end of said shaft; a web which connects said shaft with said foot part to form a one-piece jaw implant, said foot part being force transmitting and being formed as a disk-shaped form body composed of portions having different geometric base forms, said shaft being connected to said form body through said web, said foot part and said web having an enlarged surface structure, while said shaft in a head region has a smooth, non structured surface which extends about half of a total height of said shaft, and a ratio between the height of said shaft and a height of said foot part being in the range of 1:6-1:30.
