Abstract
A keyboard tray is disclosed, including: a fixing frame, including a fixing frame body; a movable frame, including a movable frame body, and a sliding mechanism, where the movable frame body is slidable through the sliding mechanism; an angle adjusting mechanism, including a limiting plate, a supporting rod, and a positioning pin, where the limiting plate is connected to the movable frame body, the supporting rod is hinged to the limiting plate, a plurality of first limiting holes are provided in the limiting plate, a second limiting hole is provided in the supporting rod, and the positioning pin is allowed to pass through the first limiting hole and the second limiting hole to achieve locking; a pull rope with both ends being respectively hooked to ends of two positioning pins; and a supporting plate mounted on the supporting rod and configured to support a keyboard.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

This application is based on and claims the benefit of priority from Chinese Patent Application No. 2023223404822, filed on 30 Aug. 2023, the entirety of which is incorporated by reference herein.


TECHNICAL FIELD

The present disclosure relates to a keyboard tray in the technical field of trays.


BACKGROUND

As an important external device of a computer, a keyboard generally needs to be placed in a certain space reserved on a desktop. However, the keyboard itself occupies a large area, and many users will use a keyboard tray to place the keyboard when the area on the desktop is limited.


Keyboard trays are classified into an integrated type and an assembled type. An integrated keyboard tray means that a movable keyboard tray is reserved on a computer desk itself, sliding rails capable of sliding out are mounted at the bottom of a desktop, a keyboard tray body slides out below the desktop through the sliding rails, and a keyboard will be placed on the keyboard tray body. An assembled keyboard tray means that a computer desk itself is not designed with a corresponding keyboard tray, and the keyboard tray is an additional structure which is assembled subsequently, and accordingly, the desk itself is not provided with bolt holes reserved for connecting to the keyboard tray. As such, an assembled keyboard tray on the market is generally fixed at the bottom of a desktop in a clamping mode, and sliding rails are also employed to slide out a keyboard tray body.


However, with increasing consumer demands for personalized adjustments, it is desirable to adjust a pitch angle of a keyboard according to the consumers' use habits, thereby reducing wrist discomfort during long-term use. Since the pitch adjustment range of the keyboard itself is limited, a keyboard angle adjusting function needs to be added to the keyboard tray. Although there are some keyboard trays including an angle adjusting mechanism on the market, the angle fixing mode thereof is based on fixing by tightening a knob, which is unstable, and may fail and lead to an angle change of the keyboard when a user presses the keyboard frequently. As such, the user has to adjust the angle frequently, which is quite troublesome.


SUMMARY

An objective of the present disclosure is to solve one of the problems existing in the prior art, and the present disclosure provides a keyboard tray, which is allowed to adjust a pitch angle of a keyboard and lock the angle firmly to be difficult to be loosened.


According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a keyboard tray is provided, comprising:

    • a fixing frame, wherein the fixing frame comprises a fixing frame body, and the fixing frame body is fixed to a bottom of a desktop;
    • a movable frame, wherein the movable frame comprises a movable frame body and a sliding mechanism, a sliding rail in the sliding mechanism is mounted on the fixing frame body, and a sliding block in the sliding mechanism is connected to the movable frame body;
    • two angle adjusting mechanism, wherein each of the angle adjusting mechanisms comprises a limiting plate, a supporting rod, and a positioning pin, the limiting plate is connected to the movable frame body, the supporting rod is hinged to the limiting plate, a plurality of first limiting holes are provided in the limiting plate, distances between each of the first limiting holes and a hinge shaft of the supporting rod are equal, a second limiting hole is correspondingly provided in the supporting rod, and the positioning pin is allowed to pass through the first limiting hole and the second limiting hole to achieve locking;
    • a pull rope, wherein both ends of the pull rope are respectively hooked to ends of two positioning pins, and the two positioning pins are allowed to be simultaneously driven to withdraw from the first limiting hole or the second limiting hole when a middle portion of the pull rope is pulled by a user; and
    • a supporting plate, wherein the supporting plate is mounted on the supporting rod and is used to support a keyboard.


Further, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the keyboard tray further comprises a height adjusting mechanism, comprising connecting rod assemblies, a limiting member, and limiting racks, and wherein the limiting racks are fixed to the movable frame body, the connecting rod assemblies are parallelogram connecting rod sets, one end of the limiting member is hinged to the connecting rod assemblies, and the other end of the limiting member is allowed to abut against the limiting racks.


Further, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, there are two connecting rod assemblies and two limiting racks, which are both symmetrically arranged as well as the limiting racks, the limiting member is frame-shaped and hinged to the two connecting rod assemblies, and the limiting member is allowed to simultaneously abut against the two limiting racks.


Further, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a holding rod extends outwards from the limiting member to facilitate holding by a user.


Further, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the fixing frame further comprises at least two clamping mechanisms, which are all connected to the fixing frame body, and the fixing frame body is fixed to the bottom of the desktop through the clamping mechanisms.


Further, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, each of the clamping mechanisms comprises a clamping frame, a pushing screw rod, and a pad, the clamping frame has a “C” shape and is clamped with a desktop edge, the clamping frame is provided with a threaded hole for threaded connection with the pushing screw rod, the pad is mounted on a first end of the pushing screw rod, and the pad is allowed to be driven close to the desktop and to clamp and fix the desktop together with the clamping frame by screwing the pushing screw rod.


Further, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the clamping mechanism further comprises a screwing handle, and the screwing handle is fixed to a second end of the pushing screw rod to facilitate holding by a user.


Further, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, each of the angle adjusting mechanisms further comprises a reset member, both ends of the reset member are respectively connected to the positioning pin and the limiting plate, and the reset member is configured to drive the positioning pin to pass through the first limiting hole and the second limiting hole.


Further, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a barrier strip is mounted on the supporting plate, and the barrier strip protrudes outwards to prevent the keyboard from sliding off the supporting plate.


Further, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the barrier strip is an elastic piece.


The embodiments of the present disclosure at least have the following beneficial effects. The present disclosure adjusts a pitch angle of the supporting plate through the angle adjusting mechanisms, such that a turnover angle of the keyboard is changed to adapt to different angle requirements of a user; and by driving the two positioning pins through the pull rope, the position limiting can be canceled quickly, and the locking is stable and firm and difficult to be loosened.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The specific embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail in this section, and the preferred embodiments of the present disclosure are illustrated in the drawings. The drawings are provided for the purpose of graphically supplementing the description in the text contents of the specification, such that every technical feature and the overall technical solutions of the present disclosure can be intuitively and vividly understood. However, the drawings shall not be construed as limiting the protection scope of the present disclosure.

With increasing consumer demands for personalized adjustments, it is desirable to adjust a pitch angle of a keyboard according to the consumers' use habits, thereby reducing wrist discomforts during long-term use. Since the pitch adjustment range of the keyboard itself is limited, a keyboard angle adjusting function needs to be added to the keyboard tray. Although there are some keyboard trays with an added angle adjusting mechanism on the market, the angle fixing mode thereof is based on fixing by tightening a knob, which is unstable, and may fail and lead to an angle change of the keyboard when a user presses the keyboard frequently. As such, the user has to adjust the angle frequently, which is quite troublesome.


Therefore, the present disclosure provides a keyboard tray, which adjusts a pitch angle of a supporting plate through an angle adjusting mechanisms, such that a turnover angle of a keyboard is changed to adapt to different angle requirements of a user; and by driving two positioning pins 330 through a pull rope 400, the position limiting can be canceled quickly, and the locking is stable and firm and difficult to be loosened.


Referring to FIGS. 1 to 2, the keyboard tray according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a fixing frame, a movable frame, angle adjusting mechanisms, a pull rope 400, and a supporting plate 500, wherein the fixing frame, the movable frame, and the supporting plate 500 form a main structure of the keyboard tray. The supporting plate 500 is used to directly support a keyboard, and a barrier strip 510 protruding outwards is mounted on the supporting plate, such that the keyboard can be prevented from sliding off the supporting plate 500 when the supporting plate 500 is turned over by a large angle. Specifically, the barrier strip 510 is an elastic piece, which reduces colliding with the user's wrist, and can also support the user's wrist, thereby improving the use experience. The fixing frame comprises a fixing frame body 110, and the fixing frame body 110 is fixed to the bottom of a desktop and provides supporting forces for other components. With regard to the fixing manner of the fixing frame body 110, fixed connection such as bolts, welding and the like may be adopted, and a detachable connection through clamping may be adopted as well. In this embodiment, the fixing frame further comprises clamping mechanisms 120, the quantity of the clamping mechanisms is at least two and the clamping mechanisms are all connected to the fixing frame body 110, and the fixing frame body 110 is fixed to the bottom of the desktop with the clamping mechanisms 120.


Specifically, each of the clamping mechanisms 120 comprises a clamping frame 121, a pushing screw rod 122, a pad 123, and a screwing handle 124, and the clamping frame 121 has a “C” shape and is clamped with a desktop edge. The clamping frame 121 is provided with a threaded hole for threaded connection with the pushing screw rod 122, and the pushing distance of the pushing screw rod 122 is adjusted by screwing the pushing screw rod 122. The pad 123 is mounted on a first end of the pushing screw rod 122, and the screwing handle 124 is fixed to a second end of the pushing screw rod 122 to facilitate holding by a user for screwing. The pad 123 is allowed to be driven close to the desktop and to clamp and fix the desktop together with the clamping frame 121 by screwing the pushing screw rod 122. The pad 123 is used to increase the contact area with the desktop and reduce the pressure on the desktop, thereby reducing damages to the desktop.


The movable frame comprises a movable frame body 210 and a sliding mechanism 220, a sliding rail in the sliding mechanism 220 is mounted on the fixing frame body 110, and a sliding block in the sliding mechanism 220 is connected to the movable frame body 210, such that the movable frame body 210 can be pulled out below the desktop to expose the keyboard carried by the movable frame body.


The quantity of the angle adjusting mechanisms is two and the two angle adjusting mechanisms are symmetrically arranged, and each of the angle adjusting mechanisms comprises a limiting plate 310, a supporting rod 320, and a positioning pin 330. The limiting plate 310 is connected to the movable frame body 210, the supporting rod 320 is hinged to the limiting plate 310, and the supporting plate 500 is fixed on the supporting rod 320, such that the supporting plate 500 can support the keyboard for turning over. A plurality of first limiting holes 311 are provided in the limiting plate 310, distances between each of the first limiting holes 311 and a hinge shaft of the supporting rod 320 are equal, and a second limiting hole is correspondingly provided in the supporting rod 320. When there is a need to lock the turnover angle of the supporting plate 500, the positioning pin 330 is passed through the first limiting hole 311 and the second limiting hole to achieve locking.


Both ends of the pull rope 400 are respectively hooked to ends of the two positioning pins 330, and the two positioning pins 330 are allowed to be simultaneously driven to withdraw from the first limiting hole 311 or the second limiting hole when a middle portion of the pull rope 400 is pulled by a user, such that unlocking is achieved, and the angle can be adjusted again at this time.


Further, the angle adjusting mechanism further comprises a reset member 340, both ends of the reset member 340 are respectively connected to the positioning pin 330 and the limiting plate 310, and the reset member is used to drive the positioning pin 330 to pass through the first limiting hole 311 and the second limiting hole. Therefore, after the positioning pin 330 is pulled out by the pull rope 400, and when the user releases the pull rope 400, the reset member 340 can automatically drive the positioning pin 330 to pass through the first limiting hole 311 and the second limiting hole so as to achieve locking again.


A specific working procedure of the angle adjusting mechanism is introduced below:

    • First step: referring to FIG. 3, the supporting plate 500 is horizontally placed, and the positioning pin 330 is inserted into the first limiting hole 311 and the second limiting hole to achieve locking.
    • Second step: referring to FIG. 4, the pull rope 400 is pulled to withdraw the positioning pin 330, such that the supporting plate 500 can be turned over to adjust the turnover angle thereof.
    • Third step: referring to FIG. 5, the pull rope 400 is released, and the positioning pin 330 is inserted into the second limiting hole and another first limiting hole 311 under the action of the reset member 340, so as to lock the turnover angle of the supporting plate 500.


Further, the keyboard tray further comprises a height adjusting mechanism, which comprises connecting rod assemblies 610, a limiting member 620, and limiting racks 630. The limiting racks 630 are fixed to the movable frame body 210, the connecting rod assemblies 610 are parallelogram connecting rod sets. There are two connecting rod assemblies 610 and two limiting racks 630, which are both symmetrically arranged. The limiting member 620 is frame-shaped, one end of the limiting member is hinged to the two connecting rod assemblies 610, and the other end of the limiting member is allowed to simultaneously abut against the two limiting racks 630, such that the form of the connecting rod assemblies 610 is limited, and the height of the supporting plate 500 is fixed. Specifically, a holding rod 621 further extends outwards from the limiting member 620 to facilitate holding by a user for adjusting.


A specific working procedure of the height adjusting mechanism is introduced below:

    • First step: referring to FIG. 6, the supporting plate 500 is at the lowest position, and the limiting member 620 is not clamped into the limiting racks 630.
    • Second step: referring to FIG. 7, the supporting plate 500 is manually lifted up, such that the limiting member 620 can be clamped into the limiting racks 630.
    • Third step: referring to FIG. 8, when the supporting plate 500 reaches a predetermined height, the supporting plate 500 is released and the supporting plate 500 has a tendency to move downwards under the action of gravity, and the limiting member 620 is driven to be clamped into the limiting racks 630 to achieve fixing.

Those of ordinary skills in the art can also make various equivalent changes or substitutions without departing from the gist of the present disclosure, and such equivalent changes or substitutions are all included in the scope defined by the claims of the present disclosure.

  • 1. A keyboard tray, comprising: a fixing frame, wherein the fixing frame comprises a fixing frame body, and the fixing frame body is fixed to a bottom of a desktop;a movable frame, wherein the movable frame comprises a movable frame body and a sliding mechanism, a sliding rail in the sliding mechanism is mounted on the fixing frame body, and a sliding block in the sliding mechanism is connected to the movable frame body;two angle adjusting mechanisms, wherein each of the angle adjusting mechanisms comprises a limiting plate, a supporting rod, and a positioning pin, the limiting plate is connected to the movable frame body, the supporting rod is hinged to the limiting plate, a plurality of first limiting holes are provided in the limiting plate, distances between each of the first limiting holes and a hinge shaft of the supporting rod are equal, a second limiting hole is correspondingly provided in the supporting rod, and the positioning pin is allowed to pass through the first limiting hole and the second limiting hole to achieve locking;a pull rope, wherein both ends of the pull rope are respectively hooked to ends of two positioning pins, and the two positioning pins are allowed to be simultaneously driven to withdraw from the first limiting hole or the second limiting hole when a middle portion of the pull rope is pulled by a user; anda supporting plate, wherein the supporting plate is mounted on the supporting rod and is used to support a keyboard.
  • 2. The keyboard tray according to claim 1, further comprising a height adjusting mechanism, wherein the height adjusting mechanism comprises connecting rod assemblies, a limiting member, and limiting racks, and wherein the limiting racks are fixed to the movable frame body, the connecting rod assemblies are parallelogram connecting rod sets, one end of the limiting member is hinged to the connecting rod assemblies, and the other end of the limiting member is allowed to abut against the limiting racks.
  • 3. The keyboard tray according to claim 2, wherein there are two connecting rod assemblies and two the limiting racks, which are both symmetrically arranged, the limiting member is frame-shaped and hinged to the two connecting rod assemblies, and the limiting member is allowed to simultaneously abut against the two limiting racks.
  • 4. The keyboard tray according to claim 3, wherein a holding rod extends outwards from the limiting member to facilitate holding by a user.
  • 5. The keyboard tray according to claim 1, wherein the fixing frame further comprises at least two clamping mechanisms, which are all connected to the fixing frame body, and the fixing frame body is fixed to the bottom of the desktop through the clamping mechanisms.
  • 6. The keyboard tray according to claim 5, wherein each of the clamping mechanisms comprises a clamping frame, a pushing screw rod, and a pad, the clamping frame has a “C” shape and is clamped with a desktop edge, the clamping frame is provided with a threaded hole for threaded connection with the pushing screw rod, the pad is mounted on a first end of the pushing screw rod, and the pad is allowed to be driven close to the desktop and to clamp and fix the desktop together with the clamping frame by screwing the pushing screw rod.
  • 7. The keyboard tray according to claim 6, wherein the clamping mechanism further comprises a screwing handle, and the screwing handle is fixed to a second end of the pushing screw rod to facilitate holding by a user.
  • 8. The keyboard tray according to claim 1, wherein each of the angle adjusting mechanisms further comprises a reset member, both ends of the reset member are respectively connected to the positioning pin and the limiting plate, and the reset member is configured to drive the positioning pin to pass through the first limiting hole and the second limiting hole.
  • 9. The keyboard tray according to claim 1, wherein: a barrier strip is mounted on the supporting plate, and the barrier strip protrudes outwards to prevent the keyboard from sliding off the supporting plate.
  • 10. The keyboard tray according to claim 9, wherein the barrier strip is an elastic piece.
