Abstract
A toy plane with adjustable track of this practical new type consists of the airframe and wings made of light material such as physically cross-linked polystyrene foam. The characteristics are as follow: on the back-end extension surface of the airfoils, there is an empennage connecting with the back-end of the airfoils, and there are controls on the angle between the empennage and the airfoils. There is a flank vertical to the airfoil on the back-end of the upper surface of the airfoil, whose forepart is fastened at the airfoil. Also there are controls on the flank's swing on the upper surface of the airfoil. And there is a pothook at the forepart of the airframe. This practical new type is made by light material, which can realize the flight with the principle of spring. That is to say, put the pothook of the elastic and pull towards the back, after you loosen the elastic, the plane will fly away under the effect of elasticity. The track can be adjusted through altering the angle between the empennage and the back-end of the flank. The toy is extremely safe for playing, since the material is made by a light material with curved design, not easy broken material.

The practical new type is a kind of toy, especially a toy plane.


TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

At present, most toy planes on the market are just model planes used as ornaments. Although some could be flying in the sky, they are usually driven by electricity. Thus, the structure is complicated, the price is high and it is difficult to make. Furthermore, their track can hardly be adjusted.


DESCRIPTION OF THE NEW TYPE

It is for a kind of toy plane that can fly in the sky and also can adjust the track.


And the goal is achieved by means of the following technological scheme:


A toy plane with adjustable track of this practical new type consists of the airframe and wings made of light material; on the back-end extension surface of the airfoils, there is an empennage connecting with the back-end of the airfoils, and there are controls on the angle between the empennage and the airfoils. There is a flank vertical to the airfoil on the back-end of the upper surface of the airfoil, whose forepart is fastened at the airfoil. Also there are controls on the flank's swing on the upper surface of the airfoil. And there is a pothook at the forepart of the airframe. This practical new type is made by light material, which can realize the flight with the principle of spring. That is to say, put the pothook of the elastic and pull towards the back, after you loosen the elastic, the plane will fly away under the effect of elasticity. The track can be adjusted through altering the angle between the empennage and the back-end of the flank.


In order to make the operation more convenient, the above-mentioned controls include the screw and bracket which is installed on the airfoils. The screw supported by the bracket goes through the empennage and flank as screw thread. Once you turn the screw, the angle of the empennage and the range of the swing of the flanks can be adjusted. When turning the screw, the empennage and flank are easy to be damaged, so the enforced plates are placed.


To make the operation easy, the handle is set at the back of the body; you can hold the handle when the plane is to be spring out of the slingshot.


The above-mentioned light material is foam.


And the following are the advantages of the plane: the orbit could be changed; the structure are simple; easy to operate; easy to make; the cost is low.

OPERATION

From FIG. 1 to FIG. 4, we can see:

  • 1: the head;
  • 2: the airframe;
  • 3: the wing;
  • 4: empennage;
  • 5: the flank;
  • 6: the angle adaptor and the pothook.


Among them item 1 to item 5 are made of foam, and item 6 are make of plastic; item 4 on item 3 and item 3 are connected at a certain angle, item 5 are inserted to the wing by 5a; by swinging 5b, you could change the flank's angle. The angle adaptors are set between item 4 and item 3, but also between item 5 and item 3. Item 6 is set at the back of the item 1. The back of the item 2 extends outside of item 4, so that we can hold the toy plane in our hand and make it spring out of the slingshot.


The angle adaptor is made up with the bracket and the screw. And it is fastened at the back of item 3 by one part of the bracket (7). Another part of the angle adaptor is made up with the bracket and the screw. And it is fastened at the back of item 3 by one part of the bracket (7). The other part is at the back of the back wing. Screw 8 is set at the bracket 7 and the back wing 4, it is connected between pole 8 and back wing 4. The angle adaptor between item 5 and item 3 are being ā€œUā€ via bracket 9. The 2 sides of the shelf 9a and 9b are inserted from item 3, the bottom part 9c are stick to the back of the item 3, item 5 is between 9a and 9b; through item 5, each side of pole 10 is fastened to the hole of 9a and 9b; pole 10 and item 5 are connected; force plate 11 is set into the hole of item 4 and item 5.


When operating, put the pothook 6, which is at the back of head 1, to the elastic of the slingshot, and pull the plane backward by holding the back of body 2, after you let go of your hand, the plane springs out by the spring force. By swinging the screw of the angle adaptor, the angle of the empennage and the flank could be changed, at the same time the track of the plane could be changed.
