Claims
- 1. A label assembly including at least one resealable brochure and suitable for being attached to a mounting surface of a container, the label comprising:
a base planar member including at least one tamper evident device for said container, and oppositely disposed first and second surfaces, the first surface being suitable for coupling the base member to the mounting surface; at least one sheet forming the brochure; and at least one planar overlying member securing the at least one sheet forming the brochure to said base member so as to be resealable when said label assembly is attached to said mounting surface.
- 2. The label assembly of claim 1, wherein said overlayer is further coupled to said first surface of said base member.
- 3. The label assembly of claim 1, wherein, a portion of the at least one brochure sheet and overlying member project beyond the first lateral edge of the base member such that when the label is attached to the mounting surface the at least one overlying member may be selectively uncoupled and recoupled to the mounting surface.
- 4. The label assembly of claim 1, wherein said sheet includes a plurality of superimposed panels, and at least one of said panels is coupled to said overlayer.
- 5. The label assembly of claim 4, wherein each of said panels includes first and second oppositely disposed surfaces each including printed indicia.
- 6. The label assembly of claim 1, wherein said label assembly has a length greater than an outer circumference of an object to be labeled thereby.
- 7. The label assembly of claim 1, wherein said overlayer is substantially transparent.
- 8. The label assembly of claim 5, wherein said base member comprises printed indicia.
- 9. The label assembly of claim 1, further comprising at least one cutout in said base member positioned so as to facilitate coupling of said label assembly to said container using said overlayer..
- 10. The label assembly of claim 9, wherein said overlayer includes a pressure sensitive adhesive.
- 11. The label assembly of claim 10, wherein said first surface of said base member further comprises a pressure sensitive adhesive.
- 12. The label assembly of claim 1, wherein said first surface of said base member and overlayer comprise at least one adhesive.
- 13. The label assembly of claim 12, wherein said adhesive e is a pressure sensitive adhesive.
- 14. The label assembly of claim 1, wherein said first surface of said base member comprises a pressure sensitive adhesive suitable for securing said assembly to said outer surface of said container.
- 15. The label assembly of claim 14, wherein said overlayer comprises a pressure sensitive adhesive suitable for securing said assembly to said outer surface of said container and said at least one sheet to said overlayer.
- 16. The label assembly of claim 1, wherein said tamper evident device comprises at least one tear strip.
- 17. The label assembly of claim 16, wherein said at east one tear strip comprises a pressure sensitive adhesive on said first surface of said base member.
- 18. The label assembly of claim 17, wherein said tear strip is disposable.
- 19. The label assembly of claim 17, wherein said tear strip is fixedly coupled to said container substantially independent of said base member.
- 20. The label assembly of claim 1, wherein said base member and overlayer have a combined length when coupled together greater than a circumference of said outer surface of said container.
- 21. A label assembly including at least one resealable brochure and suitable for being attached to a mounting surface of a container, the label comprising:
a base planar member including tamper evident device, oppositely disposed first and second surfaces and a first lateral edge, the first surface of the base member being suitable for coupling the base member to the mounting surface; and at least one planar overlying member coupled to the base member and the brochure, and wherein the brochure is not affixed to the base member.
- 22. The label assembly of claim A wherein the brochure further includes a cut out which exposes at least a portion of adhesive adhered to the overlying member.
