Claims
- 1. A label printer that, while sequentially feeding a long base sheet, prints labels continuously stuck on said long base sheet with a printing section and ejects the printed labels from a label issue port, said label printer comprising;
- a printer body provided with an accommodating section for accommodating a roll of said long base sheet and an opening provided on an opening side of said accommodating section;
- a cover pivotally fixed to said printer body configured to open and close said opening;
- a platen facing said opening, rotatably held on said printer body, and forming a part of said printing section;
- a printer head held on said cover and forming a part of said printing section opposing said platen when said cover is closed;
- a base sheet path for continuous issue formed between said printer body and said cover to guide said long base sheet passed said printing section;
- a label peeling block provided on said printer body along said base sheet path for continuous issue configured to bend said long base sheet;
- a base sheet path for peeled issue formed between said printer body and said cover so as to guide said long base sheet bent by said label peeling block; and
- a pinch roller elastically held on said cover so as to be pressed against the platen in said base sheet path for peeled issue when the cover closes.
- 2. A label printer according to claim 1, wherein said accommodating section comprises a hopper formed on said printer body, and wherein a paper clamp is provided on a backside of said cover and is configured to hold down said long base sheet rolled in said hopper.
- 3. A label printer according to claim 1, wherein said label issue port is provided on said opening side of said printer body and is configured to be connected to said base sheet path for continuous issue.
- 4. A label printer according to claim 3, wherein said label issue port is formed on said cover.
- 5. A label printer according to claim 4, further comprising a base sheet cutter configured to cut said long base sheet, said base sheet cutter being provided on a part of said opening in a sharp angle so as to extend adjacent to a tip of said printer head.
- 6. A label printer according to claim 1, further comprising a base sheet eject port provided on said opening side of said printer body, configured to be connected to said base sheet path for peeled issue.
- 7. A label printer according to claim 6, wherein said base sheet eject port is formed between a free end of said cover and an edge of said opening.
- 8. A label printer according to claim 1, wherein said label issue port is provided on said opening side of said printer body and is configured to be connected to said base sheet path for continuous issue, and wherein a base sheet eject port is provided on said opening side of said printer body and is configured to be connected to said base sheet path for peeled issue.
- 9. A label printer according to claim 1, wherein said pinch roller is pressed against said platen by a spring.
- 10. A label printer according to claim 1, wherein said printer head comprises a thermal head.
- 11. A label printer that, while sequentially feeding a long base sheet, prints labels continuously stuck on said long base sheet with a printing section and ejects the printed labels from a label issue port, said label printer comprising:
- a printer body provided with an accommodating section for accommodating a roll of said long base sheet and an opening provided on an opening side of said accommodating section;
- a cover pivotally fixed to said printer body, configured to open and close said opening;
- a platen facing said opening, rotatably held on said printer body, and forming a part of said printing section;
- a printer head held on said cover and forming a part of said printing section opposing said platen when said cover is closed;
- a base sheet path for continuous issue formed between said printer body and said cover to guide said long base sheet passed said printing section;
- a label peeling block provided on said printer body along said base sheet path for continuous issue and configured to bend said long base sheet;
- a base sheet path for peeled issue formed between said printer body and said cover so as to guide said long base sheet bent by said label peeling block; and
- a pinch roller elastically held on said cover so as to be pressed against the platen in said base sheet path for peeled issue when the cover closes;
- wherein said printer body contains a battery and said label printer is portable.
- 12. A label printer according to claim 11, wherein a shape formed by said printer body and said cover is flat.
- 13. A label printer according to claim 12, wherein said accommodating section is disposed in one side of said printer body, wherein said battery is disposed in another side of said printer body, and said printing section is disposed between said accommodating section and said battery.
- 14. A label printer according to claim 11, wherein said accommodating section comprises a hopper formed on said printer body, and wherein a paper clamp is provided on a backside of said cover and is configured to hold down said long base sheet rolled in said hopper.
- 15. A label printer according to claim 11, wherein said label issue port is provided on said opening side of said printer body and is configured to be connected to said base sheet path for continuous issue.
- 16. A label printer according to claim 15, wherein said label issue port is formed on said cover.
- 17. A label printer according to claim 16, further comprising a base sheet cutter configured to cut said long base sheet, said base sheet cutter being provided on a part of said opening in a sharp angle so as to extend adjacent to a tip of said printer head.
- 18. A label printer according to claim 11, further comprising a base sheet eject port provided on said opening side of said printer body and configured to be connected to said base sheet path for peeled issue.
- 19. A label printer according to claim 18, wherein said base sheet eject port is formed between a free end of said cover and an edge of said opening.
- 20. A label printer according to claim 11, wherein said label issue port is provided on said opening side of said printer body and is configured to be connected to said base sheet path for continuous issue and wherein a base sheet eject port is provided on said opening side of said printer body and is configured to be connected to said base sheet path for peeled issue.
- 21. A label printer according to claim 11, wherein said pinch roller is pressed against said platen by a spring.
- 22. A label printer according to claim 11, wherein said printer head comprises a thermal head.
- 23. A label printer that, while sequentially feeding a long base sheet, prints labels continuously stuck on said long base sheet with a printing section and ejects the printed labels from a label issue port, said label printer comprising:
- a printer body provided with an accommodating section for accommodating a roll of said long base sheet and an opening provided on an opening side of said accommodating section;
- a cover pivotally fixed to said printer body, configured to open and close said opening;
- a platen facing said opening, rotatably held on said printer body, and forming a part of said printing section;
- a printer head held on said cover and forming a part of said printing section opposing said platen when said cover is closed;
- a base sheet path for continuous issue formed between said printer body and said cover so as to guide said long base sheet passed said printing section;
- a label peeling block provided on said printer body along said base sheet path for continuous issue and configured to bend said long base sheet;
- a base sheet path for peeled issue formed between said printer body and said cover, configured to guide said long base sheet bent by said label peeling block;
- a pinch roller elastically held on said cover so as to be pressed against the platen in said base sheet path for peeled issue when the cover closes; and
- a belt holder provided on a backside of said printer body.
- 24. A label printer according to claim 23, wherein the backside of said printer body is formed with an arc surface.
- 25. A label printer according to claim 23, wherein said accommodating section comprises a hopper formed on said printer body, and wherein a paper clamp is provided on a backside of said cover and is configured to hold down said long base sheet rolled in said hopper.
- 26. A label printer according to claim 23, wherein said label issue port is provided on said opening side of said printer body and is configured to be connected to said base sheet path for continuous issue.
- 27. A label printer according to claim 26, wherein said label issue port is formed on said cover.
- 28. A label printer according to claim 27, further comprising a base sheet cutter configured to cut said long base sheet provided on a part of said opening in a sharp angle so as to extend adjacent to a tip of said printer head.
- 29. A label printer according to claim 23, further comprising a base sheet eject port provided on said opening side of said printer body and configured to be connected to said base sheet path for peeled issue.
- 30. A label printer according to claim 29, wherein said base sheet eject port is formed between a free end of said cover and an edge of said opening.
- 31. A label printer according to claim 23, wherein said label issue port is provided on said opening side of said printer body and is configured to be connected to said base sheet path for continuous issue and wherein a base sheet eject port is provided on said opening side of said printer body and is configured to be connected to said base sheet path for peeled issue.
- 32. A label printer according to claim 23, wherein said pinch roller is pressed against said platen by a spring.
- 33. A label printer according to claim 23, wherein said printer head comprises a thermal head.
- 34. A label printer according to claim 23, wherein said printer body contains a battery and said label printer is portable.
