Claims
- 1. A method of effecting calcium antagonism in a patient in need thereof which comprises administering to the patient a calcium antagonism effective amount of a compound of the formula ##STR48## wherein Z is hydrogen or lower alkyl of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms;
- n is an integer of from 3 to 16; and
- R is 2,2-diphenylpentyl.
- 2. The method of claim 1 wherein n is 11.
- 3. The method of claim 2 wherein the compound is N-(2,2-diphenylpentyl)-azacyclotridecane-2-imine.
- 4. The method of claim 1 wherein n is 6.
- 5. The method of claim 4 wherein the compound is 2-[(2,2-diphenylpentyl)imino]octahydroazocine.
- 6. The method of claim 1 wherein n is 5.
- 7. The method of claim 6 wherein the compound is hexahydro-2-[2,2-diphenylpentyl)imino]azepine.
- 8. The method of claim 1 wherein n is 4.
- 9. The method of claim 8 wherein the compound is 2-[(2,2-diphenylpentyl)imino]piperidine.
