Claims
- 1. An ophthalmic laser beam delivery system, comprising:
a) a laser source, the laser source emitting radiation suitable for effecting a refractive correction on an eye; b) an eye movement sensor capable of sensing a movement of the eye and generating an error control signal indicative of the movement of the eye; and c) a beam angle adjustment system, the beam angle adjustment system capable of receiving laser pulses produced by the laser source and delivering the laser pulses to the eye along a beam path, the beam angle adjustment system further being responsive to the error control signal so that the beam path of the laser pulses is adjusted in response to the movement of the eye.
- 2. The ophthalmic laser beam delivery system of claim 1 wherein the eye movement sensor has a data rate, and the data rate is greater than a rate of saccadic eye movements.
