Claims
- 1. A lawn tractor comprising:
a vehicle body extending fore and aft with respect to a traveling direction; a first wheel unit; a second wheel unit having a plurality of rear wheels; a mower unit connected to said vehicle body between said first and second wheel units; a wheel support frame supporting said first wheel unit and pivotally connected to said vehicle body; wherein said wheel support frame is pivotally displaceable relative to said vehicle body, with said second wheel unit and at least part of said first wheel unit contacting the ground, and with the ground contacting part of said first wheel unit acting as a reaction point on the ground, thereby to switch over said vehicle body from a running posture to a jack-up posture, and wherein, in said jack-up posture, said vehicle body is lifted up from the ground about a wheel axis of said second wheel unit and a space for servicing said mower unit is defined between said mower unit and the ground; and a jack device for swinging said wheel support frame to produce said running posture and said jack-up posture.
- 2. A lawn tractor as defined in claim 1, said first wheel unit comprising a pair of front wheels provided right and left with respect to the traveling direction.
- 3. A lawn tractor as defined in claim 1, wherein said support frame is disposed forwardly of said mower unit and pivotal about a single axis.
- 4. A lawn tractor as defined in claim 3, wherein said support frame and said first wheel unit are pivotally displaceable about the single axis.
