1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a technical field of light emitting diode (LED) lights, and especially to an LED Christmas light.

2. Description of the Related Art

Nowadays, as people pay more attention to Christmas, people like to set up on a roof or a wall with an entire mesh of fancy Christmas light strings, and when the night falls, the Christmas light strings show flashing lighting, adding to the beauty and joyfulness of homes.

For example, a prior art “Christmas LED light,” allocated with a published number CN219160158U, is an invention. The prior art recites that through Dumet wires and lens sealing, an LED chip is disposed inside a lens, and relative to tungsten filaments, the LED chip is more energy efficient and environment friendly, and the lens made of glass has better light transmittance to avoid any plastic aging issue, and an integrated piece of a lens and a Dumet wire sealing is superior in preventing dust and water from entering the LED chip.

However, the above prior art has the following problems: the aforesaid LED chip emits light sideward, therefore leading to a situation that light is emitted from one side of the LED chip while no light is emitted from the other side of the LED chip, which produces a shadow; furthermore the light emitted is not uniform and therefore not so aesthetically appealing; accordingly, a purpose of the present invention is to provide a Christmas LED light without the shadow and with a high assembly productivity.

Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by those of ordinary skill in the art without creative efforts are within the scope of protection of the present invention.

Referring to FIGS. 1-6 of the description, the present invention provides a Christmas LED light 1, which includes a lens 6, an LED light 2 disposed inside the lens 6, a positive lead 3 and a negative lead 4 fixedly provided on a bottom surface of the LED light 2; the positive lead 3 and the negative lead 4 each extend beyond the bottom surface of the LED light 2 from a first contact point 31 and a second contact point 41 on the bottom surface of the LED light 2. And a direction of a connection line between the first contact point 31 and the second contact point 41 is perpendicular to a direction of a central axis 15 of the Christmas LED light 1. The bottom end of the lens 6 is fixedly bonded to a sealing block 5. The sealing block 5 has a top and a bottom. The positive lead 3 and the negative lead 4 each penetrate the sealing block 5 from a third contact point 32 and a fourth contact point 42 on the top of the sealing block 5 and reach beyond the bottom of the sealing block 5, wherein the central axis 15 is from a top of the lens 6 to the bottom of the sealing block 5.

The positive lead 3 and the negative lead 4 are each bent to form a bending angle A near the LED light 2, and the LED light 2 illuminates toward a top of the lens 6, and a cavity 21 is provided inside the LED light 2. And a first LED chip 71 and a second LED chip 72 are accommodated in the cavity 21. The first LED chip 71 and the second LED chip 72 are reverse-parallel connected, i.e. the first LED chip 71 and the second LED chip 72 are connected in parallel with opposite polarities. After being connected in parallel, the reverse-parallel connected first LED chip 71 and second LED chip 72 have two terminals each fixedly connected to the positive lead 3 and the negative lead 4. Regardless of the polarity in an external power supply connected to the positive lead 3 and the negative lead 4, one of the first LED chip 71 and the second LED chip 72 emits light. Hence, there is no need to distinguish polarities when assembling the Christmas LED light 1, which greatly reduces the difficulties of assembly and thereby increases the productivity of the Christmas LED light 1.

Preferably, the third contact point 32 and the fourth contact point 42 are symmetrically disposed with respect to the central axis 15 of the Christmas LED light 1, that is, the central axis 15 is a perpendicular bisector of a connection line between the third contact point 32 and the fourth contact point 42. As a result, when assembling the Christmas LED light 1, relative rotation between the sealing block 5 and the lens 6 does not affect the appearance of the emitted light.

The positive lead and the negative lead each are bent to form a bending angle A near the LED light, and the bending angle A is 70 to 85°, so as to support the LED light 2 to be in an inclined position within the lens 6. Accordingly, a light-emitting surface of the LED light 2 is tilted with respect to the top of the lens 6 so that the light-emitting surface of the LED light 2 faces the top of the lens 6; as a result, light emitted by the LED light 2 illuminates toward the top of the lens 6 and uniformly covers a light-emitting surface at the top of the lens 6, and thereby avoiding producing shadows when the LED light 2 irradiates, which may affect the aesthetics.

In one embodiment, when the bending angle A of both the positive lead 3 and the negative lead 4 does not reach 90 degrees, for example, when the positive lead 3 and the negative lead 4 are cylindrical, this will result in a partial blind area of illumination. To decrease the blind area of illumination, a light diffusion layer (not shown in the drawings) can be added on top of the light-emitting surface of the LED light 2 to enhance the light diffusion.

Referring to FIGS. 1-5, a top of the sealing block 5 is fixed with a ring insert 8, and a ring groove 9 matching the ring insert 8 is provided on a bottom end surface of the lens 6. The ring insert 8 is inserted in the groove 9, so as to improve the firmness between the sealing block 5 and the lens 6. In order to prevent the ring insert 8 from rotating in the ring groove 9, on each of two sidewalls of the ring insert 8, a respective limit block 10 is fixed, and on each of two inner sidewalls of the ring groove 9, a respective limit slot 11 matching the limit block 10 is fixed. Since the limit block 10 is in the limit slot 11, the limit blocks 10 and the limit slots 11 are cooperated to prevent the ring insert 8 from rotating.

Moreover, the sealing block 5 is fixedly penetrated through by a plurality of metal thermal blocks 12 from the bottom of the sealing block 5 and into a space inside the lens 6, and the plurality of metal thermal blocks 12 are interspersed with the positive lead 3 and the negative lead 4 so as to conduct heat in the lens 6 to an exterior of the lens 6 to dissipate heat of the LED light 2.

An annular recess 13 is provided at an upper section of an outer wall of the lens 6, and a color paper 14 is attached in the annular recess 13, and a color of the light emitted from the Christmas LED light 1 can be changed by replacing the color paper 14 with a color paper 14 of a different color, and the color paper 14 is glued to attach to the annular recess 13 to facilitate replacing the color paper 14.

With the ring insert 8 on the sealing block 5, an assembly personnel only needs to align and insert the two limit blocks 10 on the ring insert 8 each into the two corresponding limit slots 11 when the sealing block 5 and the lens 6 are assembled. The two limit blocks 10 can effectively prevent the sealing block 5 from rotating. This can ensure that the LED light 2, the positive lead 3 and the negative lead 4 all remain in the same position. And with multiple metal thermal blocks 12 in the sealing block 5, the multiple metal thermal blocks 12 can quickly conduct heat in the lens 6 to the exterior of the lens 6 to realize heat dissipation for the LED light 2. And by attaching the color paper 14 inside the annular recess 13 of the outer wall of the lens 6 by adhesives, the color of the light emitted by the Christmas LED light 1 can be changed according to the color of the color paper 14, so as to enhance the Christmas atmosphere.
