Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The following includes information that may be useful in understanding the present disclosure. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art nor material to the presently described or claimed inventions, nor that any publication or document that is specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates generally to the field of clothing of existing art and more specifically relates to anti-slip legwear garments.

RELATED ART

Wearing hosiery can be an uncomfortable and frustrating experience. While the wearer may want to look professional and stylish, often times, the discomfort is not worth the frustration. Hosiery typically has a narrower fabric waistband which applies an exorbitant amount of pressure around the waist—this waistband can cause segmenting in the skin and leave portions of the body looking and feeling uncomfortable. Hosiery typically rolls over at the top when seated and can fall down if not secured tightly in place. A suitable solution is desired.

U.S. Pub. No. 2010/0081984 to Marco Coffinardi, et al. relates to a garment with silicone transpiring band and method for making the same. The described garment with silicone transpiring band and method for making the same includes a garment, such as a sock, a short sock, an ankle sock having a fabric portion suitable to be worn on a body part, such as a limb, and at least one silicone band on an area of said fabric portion, such as having an anti-slip function, wherein a plurality of transpiring through openings is formed in said silicone band.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known clothing art, the present disclosure provides a novel legwear garment device. The general purpose of the present disclosure, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide a low-rise hosiery legwear garment having a flexible lace band and silicone strip to hold the garment in position around a user's hips beneath the belly button area.

A legwear garment device is disclosed herein. The garment includes a legwear, a waistband, and a strip having a first side and a second side, wherein the second side is affixed to an inner side of the top portion of the waistband. The first side of the strip may include a non-adhesive substance, while the second side may include an adhesive substance. The garment may be configured to conform to a user's body while the first side of the strip allows the garment to remain in position on the user's body.

For purposes of summarizing the invention, certain aspects, advantages, and novel features of the invention have been described herein. It is to be understood that not necessarily all such advantages may be achieved in accordance with any one particular embodiment of the invention. Thus, the invention may be embodied or carried out in a manner that achieves or optimizes one advantage or group of advantages as taught herein without necessarily achieving other advantages as may be taught or suggested herein. DETAILED DESCRIPTION

As discussed above, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to clothing and more particularly to a legwear garment device as used to provide a low-rise hosiery legwear garment having a flexible lace band and silicone strip to hold the garment in position around a user's waist beneath the belly button area.

Generally, the legwear garment device may provide a user with a hosiery undergarment that terminates at the hip with a lace waistband designed to keep the garment in place at all times. It may utilize a silicone stick strip within the lace waistband capable of firmly securing the undergarments at the hip. The silicone strip may be configured as a single continuous strip or also as plurality of strips arranged within the inner surface of the waistband. The garment device may further include multiple strips arranged in sequence and further configured for contact with the user's skin. The waistband may measure approximately 3 inches in width. The garment may offer a sleek, polished, and comfortable experience for the wearer, ensuring maximum comfort throughout a long day. This device may keep hosiery and legwear in place without being too tight and without the product sagging or rolling down. The present invention may utilize a durable, soft microfiber material in order to maintain comfort while wearing the product.

The design of this device may allow a user to wear hosiery without it squeezing the midsection, rolling down or sagging throughout the day. The no-squeeze, flexible waistband may allow the product to conform and sit lower on a user's hips and under their belly button, replacing the high-waist squeezing control top hosiery. The silicone strip inside the lace allows the product to make contact and adhere to the skin without discomfort.

The legwear garment device may be referred to herein as “Hipstik Legwear”, which can be constructed using soft, durable microfiber materials. The legwear may be available in numerous sizes capable of accommodating women of all ages and body types. Exact size, measurement, construction, and design specifications may vary upon manufacturing. Upon reading this specification, it should be appreciated that, under appropriate circumstances, considering such issues as user preferences, design preference, structural requirements, marketing preferences, cost, available materials, technological advances, etc., other garment arrangements such as, for example, alternative sizes, aesthetic designs, materials used, etc., may be sufficient.

The garment of this disclosure may be configured as a hosiery item or leggings for women to wear above or beneath alternative clothing items. The legwear garment device may include flexible material and lace, especially in the waistband area. The device may be soft to the touch for added comfort, while remaining wear-durable to allow for extended wear and continued use over a long period of time. The materials used may include a microfiber material and more specifically a 97-denier microfiber material. The strip beneath the waistband area may include silicone to help prevent sagging of the waistband.
