Claims
- 1. A lens barrel, comprising:
- a fixed frame;
- a plurality of lens groups disposed on an inner circumference of said fixed frame and movable along an optical axis direction with respect to said fixed frame;
- lens holding frames for holding at least one of said lens groups;
- a cam frame coupled with an inner circumference of said fixed frame through cams and moving along an optical axis direction with respect to said fixed frame responsive to rotation about the optical axis with respect to said fixed frame;
- a key member for regulating rotation of said lens holding frames about the optical axis with respect to said fixed frame;
- a cam mechanism interposed between said cam frame and said lens holding frames for moving said lens holding frames along the optical axis responsive to rotation of said cam frame about the optical axis with respect to said fixed frame;
- an internal gear defined on an inner circumference of said cam frame; and
- a pinion gear for transmitting a drive force from a drive source to said internal gear, said pinion gear extending along an axis parallel with the optical axis and rotating said cam frame about the optical axis when said pinion gear is rotated about its axis.
- 2. A lens barrel according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of bottomed cam grooves are defined on at least one of an inner circumference and an outer circumference of said cam frame so that said cam grooves are engaged with cam followers provided with said lens holding frames and cross each other at at least one position of the inner circumference or the outer circumference of said cam frame.
- 3. A lens barrel according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of bottomed cam grooves are defined on an inner circumference of said cam frame so as to be engaged with cam followers provided with said lens holding frames and which cross each other at at least one position.
- 4. A lens barrel according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of bottomed cam grooves are defined on an outer circumference of said cam frame so as to be engaged with cam followers provided with said lens holding frames and which cross each other at at least one position.
- 5. A lens barrel according to claim 4, wherein positions where a plurality of said bottomed cam grooves cross each other are positions where said cam followers are located when said lens barrel is not used.
- 6. A lens barrel according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of bottomed cam grooves are defined on an inner circumference and an outer circumference of said cam frame and engaged with cam followers provided with said lens holding frames and at least one of a plurality of said bottomed cam grooves is divided at at least one position of a front end surface or rear end surface of said cam frame.
- 7. A lens barrel according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of bottomed cam grooves are defined on an inner circumference of said cam frame and engaged with cam followers provided with said lens holding frame and at least one of a plurality of said bottomed cam grooves is divided at at least one position of a front end surface or rear end surface of said cam frame.
- 8. A lens barrel according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of bottomed cam grooves are defined on an outer circumference of said cam frame and engage cam followers provided with said lens holding frames and at least one of a plurality of said bottomed cam grooves is divided at at least one position of a front end surface or rear end surface of said cam frame.
- 9. A lens barrel according to claim 1, wherein said key member also serves as a reinforcing member for reinforcing and strengthening said lens barrel.
- 10. A lens barrel according to claim 1, wherein a sum of depths of cam grooves respectively formed on an outside and an inside of said cam frame is less than the thickness of said cam frame.
- 11. A lens barrel, comprising:
- a support member;
- a fixed frame mounted on said support;
- a plurality of lens groups disposed within an inner circumference of said fixed frame and movable along an optical axis;
- lens holding frames for holding said lens groups;
- drive means disposed on the inner circumference of said fixed frame for moving said lens holding frames along the optical axis; and
- a reinforcing member mounted on said support member, extending into said fixed frame and slidably engaging a guideway on at least one lens holding frame for regulating rotation of said lens holding frames about the optical axis as well as reinforcing a strength of said lens barrel.
- 12. A lens barrel, comprising:
- lens holding frames for holding lens groups; and
- a reinforcing member mounted on said support member, extending into said fixed frame and slidably engaging a guideway on at least one lens holding frame for regulating rotation of said lens holding frames about an optical axis as well as reinforcing a strength of said lens barrel.
