Claims
- 1. A lever accessory for axially feeding a power drill, comprising:a chuck on a front end of the power drill for holding a drill bit, and a body portion on the end of the power drill opposite said chuck; an adapter on the body portion; a substantially straight lever having a handle on one end, a sharp, pointed tip on the other end, said pointed tip for impaling a portion of the nearby work environment to provide a temporary fulcrum, and an intermediate portion located between the tip and handle, said intermediate portion engaging and pivoting on the adapter when the pointed tip is impaled and as the handle is moved by an operator in order to feed the drill bit axially.
- 2. The lever accessory as set forth in claim 1, wherein the adapter consists of an elastomeric compound.
- 3. The lever accessory as set forth in claim 1, wherein the intermediate portion of the lever has an elastomeric coating.
